November 30, 200619 yr No posts with no pictures if possible. I live in Budapest, Hungary :) We'll have to start off with this idiot. The "we f*cked up" prime minister Gyurcsany. He's a psyho. -.- The Heroes' Square: The Parliament : (Same function as the Capitolium in Washington) Aaaaand the Chainbridge:
November 30, 200619 yr My city? Ok, some pictures: (a castle, not far from where I live) [http://woopidoo2.deviantart.com][Tip.it Moderator from Dec 10, 2006 to 03 Sep, 2008]
November 30, 200619 yr The GABBA Suncorp Stadium Not much else worth looking at really, looks like any other major city :P
November 30, 200619 yr (For some reason, second image not working... But it was the Big Ben if you must know) I think we can all safely say we know where THAT is. Here is Battersea Power Station, pretty close to where I live. The colossity of it is simply overwhelming.
November 30, 200619 yr Blah, we don't have that many sights here where I live. But our neihgbour city (capital city) has plenty of them. Anyways, some that are close to where I live: Nokia world headquarters (just a small part, it is an huge complex) Culture center [Star Wreck][PM me][My gallery][DeviantArt][Cool T-shirts!][iron Sky - Trailer is now out!]
November 30, 200619 yr I live in Sunderland UK Think we got that from the huge Sunderland stadium you posted? My home town... The Reverend Patrick BrontÃÆÃâÃâë, lived in Hightown while he was the vicar of Hartshead Church and the area is made famous in his daughter Charlotte BrontÃÆÃâÃâë's book, Shirley. Interesting? Shirley (replace a certain letter with another one) is one of the roughest places in the Leeds / Bradford area, and the first place where I ever got mugged! Joy! \ I live down about 300 meters from ... ...well I can't find a picture and its nearly 8pm now. The lion's midget gems factory, they had an anniversary and they just handed out bags of them.. 8-) Other than that, its fight clubs, gypsy's, chavs and muggers. If your as buff as me theres no worry though 8-) Which Final Fantasy Character Are You?Final Fantasy Currently Listening To ~ Hotel California / The Eagles
November 30, 200619 yr Here is the closest big city to my house :P I believe Penguingeek3 and Runescapeloser22 and Legolas x0x can agree with me :P Outside of Fenway Pahhk! Yawkey Way :) The 2006 New Design. Home of the Green Monster :P --------TD Banknorth Garden-------- Looks like it was raining that day ^^ :P --------Assorted Pics-------- Quincy Market...YUM!^^ "Tessie, 'Nuff Said, McGreevey shouted! We're not here to mess around! Boston! You know we love ya madly hear the crowd roar, to your sound! Don't blame us if we could ever doubt ya! You know we couldn't live without ya! Red Sox! You are the only only ooooooooonly!" - "Tessie" - Dropkick Murphys "Down by the River! Down by the banks of the River Charles! That's where you'll find me! Along with the muggers, lovers, and thieves!" ... "Well I love that Dirty Water...Ooooooooooooooohhh, Boston you're my home!" - "Dirty Water" - The Standells (sp?)
November 30, 200619 yr Wow, I wish I lived in a nice city. :XD: Our hockey arena: I live a bit away from this city, like 15 kilometers, but it's still the coolest town around these parts. Frankenmuth, which has the largest Christmas store in the country. Bronners: Image too big. http://www.michigantoday.net/BRONNERS_INTERIOR.jpg Me doing staff.
November 30, 200619 yr FAD! You forgot the pru :( You can't ever find a place that's nice and peaceful, because there isn't any. You may think there is, but once you get there, when you're not looking, somebody'll sneak up and write "(bleep) you" right under your nose. Try it sometime. I think, even, if I ever die, and they stick me in a cemetery, and I have a tombstone and all, it'll say "Holden Caulfield" on it, and then what year I was born and what year I died, and then right under that it'll say "(bleep) you."
November 30, 200619 yr Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-I took the one less traveled by,And that has made all the difference.
November 30, 200619 yr Wow, I wish I lived in a nice city. :XD: Our hockey arena: I had a nice talk with your brother, tbfgraphx last night. He's cool. He said that Sag. was in the Ontario Hockey League. Our team is semi-pro (AHL) and we have a worse arena than that. :-k Small New Arena > Big Disgusting Old Arena :D This one though, I like, but the city is disgusting. Your brother told me you saw your old player at your house in this arena in the Arena at Harbor Yards. http://www.soundtigers.com/arena/inside.htm# As I said, I'd take a small, 1 section high arena anyday over a large one with none of the seats filled up. ..... @SoS You can see it clearly in that last pic..It's the biggest building with that stick coming out of the top :P
November 30, 200619 yr Fad has covered the basics. :P The thing I store all my pictures on isn't working now, so I'll edit in more pictures of Boston later. Cenin pân nîd, istan pân nîd, dan nin ú-cenich, nin ú-istach.Ithil luin eria vi menel caran...Tîn dan delu.
November 30, 200619 yr ^O, yeah, we went to a Sound Tiger game, it was cool. But the arena in Springfield is not, but neither is the city. Yea, when we went from Mass. into Con. I noticed a huge difference. I didn't want to leave Con. I liked it that much!! I thought you lived in Boston, not Hartford. But Hartford is a nice city, quite beautiful, and the IKEA factory isn't far away to top it all of.. :P Me doing staff.
November 30, 200619 yr Wait...This is getting confusing... Viktor - Why'd you quote yourself? And were you talking to Fad or me? Oh, the quoting thing was a double post... Fad - You still live in Connecticut, right? All this you-and-Boston thing is confusing me. And you claim that the Prudential is in the last picture, the one of Quincy market. I think you mean second to last. (Quincy is NOT part of Boston. It's a city/town south of it, FYI) Cenin pân nîd, istan pân nîd, dan nin ú-cenich, nin ú-istach.Ithil luin eria vi menel caran...Tîn dan delu.
November 30, 200619 yr Nothing really big to boast about, but we have good areas that look nice (pretty much all of them are not in the downtown core) ^this one does have some history too it. I think it was built when the queen was coming along long time ago. Each and ever brick was cut and shipped from Ireland. Sig by IkuraiYour Guide to Posting! Behave or I will send my Moose mounted Beaver launchers at you!
November 30, 200619 yr I was talking to Fad, I just didn't want to quote all those pics. Me doing staff.
November 30, 200619 yr Don't know if you wanted big city shots, but here is about the only thing to look at in my town.
December 1, 200619 yr Just so more people will notice, I'll make a new post... Fenway/Red Sox (September 2nd, 2004. I went to see the Angels-Sox game: Our wonderful mascot: Manny being Manny (If he gets traded, I'll go crazy.): The Idiot: My (Former) Favorite Player, Bill Mueller (He hit a homer that game!!): The Red Sox have won!: The Aquarium: Ooh, penguins! : Um..A penguin?: The T (AKA Subway for you non-Bostonians): C Line, I believe: I cropped out the people...There are NOT white random spots on the T. My Old City: Lyk Z0MG! T3h tallest building in the world! The view from the 89th floor: Cenin pân nîd, istan pân nîd, dan nin ú-cenich, nin ú-istach.Ithil luin eria vi menel caran...Tîn dan delu.
