December 1, 200619 yr I never understood why schools should be closed when it snows? Where I live (finland) we have to go to school, no matter if there's like -50 degrees. Only concession we get is that if it gets colder than -29 celcius, we don't have to go outdoor for breaks if we don't want to. Don't you have snow plows over there? However, not every school system would close or open at this time. Right now, most of the schools or colleges have finished their term or semester. If there's an important snowfall, thunderstorm, or non-stop heavy rain, then there's likely to take consideration of canceling classes or the school day. December 1, 200619 yr We have A LOT of rain right now. It's pouring out, pretty much started at 2:35 when I got out. (it's 3:15 now). Anyway, we're promised snow on Monday, but probably not enough to cancel, possibly a delay though. :P

December 2, 200619 yr No snow up here :( We were promised snow sometime this weekend but right now it's about 32 F and clear skies. You can't ever find a place that's nice and peaceful, because there isn't any. You may think there is, but once you get there, when you're not looking, somebody'll sneak up and write "(bleep) you" right under your nose. Try it sometime. I think, even, if I ever die, and they stick me in a cemetery, and I have a tombstone and all, it'll say "Holden Caulfield" on it, and then what year I was born and what year I died, and then right under that it'll say "(bleep) you."

December 2, 200619 yr I live in Eastern Iowa. We had some freezing rain on Wednesday night but not bad enough to get out of school. As of right now, I really don't want any snow days this year.
