Unfortunately Rune armor will be what f2p will get at most. I highly doubt those 3rd age items will be f2p before dragon armor are f2p.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

interestingly though, the 3rd melee gear has actually first time broke the rule that plates are better at stab defence than at crush.

No. Third age items each have their own page so there's no need to differntiate them from f2p or p2p items. They are members only. The only reason the dragon items have the (m) next to them is because they're listed with other armors which happen to be f2p.

Everything except the Third Age Coif and the Third Age Melee set seem pointless to me.

The melee is better than dragon and doesn't waste away like Barrows, so it's DECENT, but nowhere as exaggerated as the rumors.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Disappointing. Now I just wish the rumors were true, but as always, too good to be so.

Actually, some people don't even know about the KB! And the KB doesn't tell you the stats/requirements for the armour/items. Could you tell me what the 3rd generation armour from the level 3 clue scrolls from the KB? If you can, tell me so I can update this guide. :wink:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Yes I can. Not too many people know about this, but in the mage, range, and melee skill guides, they show the stats of their respective armors.

I KNEW white dragonhide armour would come out one day.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The examine for the 3rd age range armour says its made from white dragonhide.

I don't get why its the same as black dhide though... :-k. I guess black and white dragons are the same level.

They cant give us white dragons, they died out in the third age ;) Thats why it's taken about 5 years for us to find even some of the items.

Nice summary. Jagex disgusts me, all was fine until I saw the "third age" equipment. Eventually something has to give, they NEED to stop making bigger and better weapons/armor. Our hitpoints is never going to get higher than 99 ya know...

Now bigger and better weapons could be a problem. I don't think anything better then a whip should be introduced anytime soon without adjustments to HP. Aside from that, something better then a whip would making training even faster then it already is which isn't needed.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I'm sorry to disapoint you but Dharok's Axe, Dragon Two Handed Sword, Dragon Halberd and Dragon BattleAxe have better strength bonus, so they are better.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Besides, dragon battleaxe isn't nearly as slow as d2h or dragon halberd.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

+3 might not be big difference but still better.

Jagex rarely cares about the player controlled price if you haven't noticed, I highly doubt that is the reason.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Every gamemaker always has the need to make better stuff in their games, sometimes the urge is just too strong they release a ton of ownage stuff at once! :twisted: You should be glad we are recieving new high level equipment. Stop complaining and get treasure trailing.

It's trimmed... if yours doesn't look like that, then yours isn't trimmed.

just so you know your addition for the crush defense of the total third age melee armour is incorrect it should be closer to 300.

I didn't read everything but if i added right the new highest range attack is +231... :D
