December 21, 200619 yr I really love Dream Theater and the only other fans I know other than online are people that I've introduced to DT. They are pretty much un-heard of in the UK. Completely true. No way I would have found them if it wasn't for these forums. "Da mihi castitatem et continentam, sed noli modo"

December 23, 200619 yr I know this band isn't unique to me but its the only band i listen to at the moment..... The Killers
December 23, 200619 yr Metallica, Iron Maiden and Burzum. Metallica = Got me into more radical music. Ok, Metallica itself isn't anything too radical, but it opened me the gates to the world of metal music. Without Metallica I most likely wouldn't listen to any of the bands I'm now doing. Iron Maiden = A bit same thing as with Metallica, except it taught me what beautiful music and great instrumental skills are. For 3 years I've been thinking to get a tattoo with Eddie at it. Burzum = Not just the music, but also all the writings made by Varg Vikernes have changed my worldview a lot. If you ask me, this man's a true genious. Go ahead and start arguing how he killed Euronymous (great musician btw) or burnt some churches, it doesn't change the fact that he got great ideas. I'd rather die for what I believe in than live for anything else.Name Removed by Administrator ~Turtlefemm

December 26, 200619 yr Genitorturers, an American industrial band with female vocals. Although they're pretty unknown, I think a few people on these forums might have heard the first song off the Flesh is the Law EP. It's the background music for The Last Round, the Anarch bar in the Downtown area in Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines.
