December 16, 200619 yr I came up with what I think is, a decent idea last night - Senior player mods. A senior mod would be set apart from other players by a red crown: SP-Mod Requirements: [*:2bd9q65z]Expierienced player moderator [*:2bd9q65z]Player moderator for a decent amount of time SPMs (Senior Player Moderators) would have the following abilites: [*:2bd9q65z]48 hour mutes [*:2bd9q65z]12 hour in-game bans [*:2bd9q65z]Ability to de-mod a player moderator for up to 3 hours [*:2bd9q65z]Access to the Senior Player Moderator Centre(center) [*:2bd9q65z]Ability to recommend player moderators candidates for Jagex to look out for Power abuse will recieve a de-modderation back to player moderator, and a week long in-game ban. The Senior Player Moderator Centre would be accessed via the main page, under the Player Moderator Centre link, along with a "Find out abouth Senior Player Moderators" paged link as well. The SPM Centre would consist of an SPM list, a sperate forum for SPM sitation discussion, Codes of Conduct, and more. There would also be an article on SPMs in the K-Base. December 18, 200619 yr Honestly, this is in no way a good idea i mean a lot of the senior mods would just go ban as many people as they could and before you know it thered be thousands of people banned. Seriously if they were just demoted to a regular player mod thats no punishment and all they would have to do is wait til they were a mod long enough to become a senior mod and repeat. Quit. December 18, 200619 yr Only takes one loser to power abuse and ruin it all, no thanks. if this was incorporated into the game, there would actually be quite a few people that would fulfill this role very well. however, the limited number (i would say less than 20 or so) would not be effective in "moderating the moderators" (as your suggestions imply). the 48 hour mute is also pretty useless. jagex often address those reports well before the normal 24 hours is up.

Players already find it hard to differentiate between the gold and silver crown, another crown will just add to the confusion. Secondly, this whole new system will just lead to more abuse of powers. Some of these senior mods will just go about banning innocent players and demodding all the other player mods, which is going to be disastrous. Besides, Jagex already have a good team of people who looks out for player mods, we don't need another group of players assisting them in it.
