You bring 26 imp boxes (2 spots for the rune ore) 26 x 2 = 52. + that other 26. so 78 Rune ores from 26. :P Only problem with that is that your prayer will run out if you have no prayer potions, so you'd have to sacrifice some boxed imps for the prayer potions. Otherwise, the dark beasts will kill you easily.you only need like 1-2 prayer pots... At your prayer level, you'd need 1-2 with the boxed imps, but at a lower level (say 60) you'd probably need more. If at some point I get a little extra time, I'll try to figure out about how many you'd need based on prayer level/bonus. Also, I can't wait to see the full guide; I wonder what'll come first: me reaching 85 mining (79 at the moment) or you making the full guide. If you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.

Happened twice now. Funny how many people cruise the Tip.It forums, but it's still not overly crowded (yet).

February 28, 200719 yr I got 85 Mining today and it's not busy at all I've mined 3 already....I know its only three but. Your amazing I'd kiss you!!! But im not that way. You should have kept this a close gaurded secret though.... Even though this quest is hard eventually lots of ppl will use it.

March 5, 200719 yr Once I finally get round to getting 85 mining and questing a whole lot more (soon hopfully :P) then this will help me financially :D Awsome method, even if it does become busier surely it can't be as bad as heroes! March 7, 200719 yr I can't mine rune now, and I probably never will be able to. This is a great guide though, and I would use it if I could.
March 7, 200719 yr I was using this technique when they first introduced dark beasts and it was good. After this guide coming out it is now not so good. Because there is only one rock there is there are more than three people doing it at any one time it becomes very slow indeed. THe only reason it was quick was because no one knew about it. Now its dead.

But if not, I still plan to get 99 fletching and what better place to alch 20k+ bows than next to rune rocks \? Edit 3-26-07: I got 84 Mining today and decided to stout some runite according to this guide. I got 21 ores in about 30-35 minutes and only ran into 2 other miners :D . I did this at about 2:15-2:45 PM GMT. This is still the best place to mine runite if you're not alching since it beats getting pked :wall:. I don't think this could effectively be done when the Americans are home though :( . Edit 3-30-07: Got my 85 Mining yesterday \. I started alching next to the heros guild rune rocks switching worlds when both ores are mined. Compared to what I expected/feared it's been RAINING RUNITE . On the first trip I got 24 ores in about 1140 alchs. Second trip I got 23 ores in 729 alchs. Heros guild is hands down the best place to alch while mining rune. 4x Phat owner: Blue, Green, 2x Purple 3100+ GWD bosses soloed.Solo GWD Drops:5 Bandos Plates, 4 Bandos Boots, 3 Bandos Hilts, 2 Arma Helms, Arma Skirt, Arma Plate, 3 Arma Hilts, 4 Zammy Spears, Steam Staff, 15 Sara Swords, 6 Sara Hilts, 29 Shards.

However, Rune mining is not the best thing to do while alching. But, I'll keep that part to myself. Besides, most players can't do it anyway.
