A hate crime is basically a crime, but if you do it against someone who is not your race then your sentencing could be A LOT worse. I just need ideas, pictures are nice but I think I can draw a decent one by myself. I got... 1. Laws against racism(unclear idea) 2. school diversity 3. Afirmative action 4. help people understand racism I just put w/e I could think of up there. Arg... Can't think of more my brain is melting, and it's too early. Please don't think of something that's very complex to draw, as my art skills are lacking. i wish there was no racism.. but ppl make mistakes, and one is racism and i dont think it will be solved any time soon. good idea, but i dont think it will work very well.. i hate racism, specially when its agsint me or against other ppl from my race.. Unfortunetly since the dawn of time people have been taught to hate, and discriminate because someone/something isn't accustomed to their lifestyle. The only solution is for everyone to have a basic idea of equality, it was tried, theres 6 billion people on earth, and it failed. Hate has existed from the beginning to present time and will exist until all life is destroyed and Earth can start over again. Not all black people are poor, and not all white people are rich. So making an assumption like AA (even though finance does come into play) is just immoral. As long as you're making any classification either good or bad about a race, you're encouraging the root of the problem: Categorization. My earlier comment seemed to be ignored, but it was the only one that I've ever seen offer a solution to racism. Of course in theory I think it'd work, but human nature likes to generalize and classify. That is - actually drop the acknowledgment of race. Stop categorizing. Nobody's black, nobody's white. We're just shades and hues. Until the world takes that viewpoint, racism will always exist, and programs to stop racism will mostly just add fuel to the fire because they all acknowledge race in the first place. Oh and the teacher can fail me because... a) I did not do the work or have anything to show for it. B) That's not what people want to hear. c) The teacher will be pissed off for smart talking. As you can see, what you think is not what happens in the real world. put the chinese back on the railroad tracks but seriously, affirmative action is racism. A kid calls a Welsh Person a sheep [word]... Will he get locked up? Bloody well not... There are so many forms of racism, based of predjudism, discrimination, cultural beliefs... Its impossible to punish them all. One way to prevent racism, is to try and influence the youth generations, and hope that when they grow up, their influences will be passed on to those in the future.
