Harry Potter and the title of Book 7 *SPOILER*

Well after opening the door you get to play a game of Hangman to guess the name of book 7.

Highlight here for the title >>Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows<<

If you would like the method to opening the door I suggest the fansite Mugglenet.

So lets discuss the title. I think it may relate to the veil when Sirius fell into. So maybe Harry goes there? The first word of the title could mean Death Eaters?

Discuss ::'

Heres pic for proof.

Deathly Hallows.

Hallow - halloween - witches, wizards - supposed evil

Sounds like some kind of old, haunted mansion in the countryside.

Deathly means Death Eaters or perhaps something lethal and dangerous.

Hallows is quite a hard one. But a haunted place sounds right. Well time to eagerly wait for the release date ::'

She's figured it out in 3 minutes ..

Yes well hmm .. from my scientific research I think it's about death and evil. Has she said when she is going to release it? Or finish writing it if she hasn't already..

I'm assuming the Deathly Hallows...whatever they turn out to be...is where Harry is going to have to face Voldy for the final time.

...I can't freaking wait!

You crampin' my style.

Tip for when you're posting spoilers, use the size tags rather than colour. After all, white text on a black background is pretty easy to read ;)

I don't know, it's not very original, sounds like some low budget horror film. But i'm sure it will be a brilliant book! :-w

Hallows:name used by some traditions for Samhain, or Halloween

Hmm, I'm thinking that the final battle will go down on Halloween. Voldy knows that he's in for a rough fight and will need every advantage he can get. This is why he wants to fight on Halloween, because it is known for evil.

Purely speculation :P

Hallows----> Godric's Hollow, where Harry's parents lived. He has already stated he would return there.

Ooo, I like Harry Potter. ::'

Cool name, but I don't like it as much. It's missing that je nais sais quois that her titles usually have. But maybe it will eventually just wear in.

Yeah, it does.

But than again she could probaly put the letter "L" as the title and someone would "desipher" the meaning behind it.

reading these posts have given me this idea:

'Deathly Hallows' probably refer to the events that took place on Halloween at Godric's Hollow. I bet a lot of the book will be about unraveling the mysteries regarding Harry's parents, and other things that went on during that night.

You just revolutionized my thoughts on the upcoming book.

Thats to do with the prophecy at the end of book 5. Neither can live while the other dies or something along that lines. I need to re-read the books lol.

In order for Voldemort to be totally destroyed, will Harry have to sacrifice himself? :ohnoes:

I think it'd be good if Harry's scar was a horcrux, and he found out if Voldy was gonna die, he would have to go with him.

But, horcruxs are sposed to be objects I think.

Wait I just realised someone already said that lol, well I think that too. :)
