reaper88888 Posted February 20, 2007 Share Posted February 20, 2007 Hmm....sounds like a good idea, but why not have 2 tiers of competition, the lower one being for lower levels with sized down rewards, upper with the current rewards.... I.E.: Upper tier---Current reqs and rewards. Lower tier---Lvl 1-current req in the skill(s), 1/2 the rewards...so 500k, 50kexp, ect., because the lower teir skills take less time and effort to get. BUT the rewards are far too great, the waiting time for this game are far too big...I mean, only 7 champs a year....Now look the HighScores on Runescape...We ALL KNOW WHO WILL BE NEXT WINNERS...another way for rich people to get richer..and Top10 people to level even more. And the rewards are, I accept, very tempting, but completely exagerated... Anywyas, I like the idea, but you would have to change a big deal of things for Jagex to approve it. Zarfay Posted March 8, 2007 Share Posted March 8, 2007 i like it... my only thing is the arena is so big like the inside stuff using the portals is ok but instead a boat to an island wouldn't a portal somewhere be good (kinda like a P.O.H) and why only port khzard why not allow the charter ships to take you (and a quest skill thing were only people with 200+qp can enter and you have to do puzzles and fight monster and stuff would be cool) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

And the combat arena, I think that instead of an everyman for himself deal with Kalphites showing up in forts...maybe... Rs should place contestants in two teams for the first round...create even teams, and have like a CW type thing going...each person only gets two lives... The team that holds the "flag" causes the other team to lose 5 hp a min, or something. When one team eliminates the other, then have another round, and perhaps another, then have a free-for all in a different arena. Everyone knows the Combat arena will be heavily populated, so this could weed out the weaker ones, and stop all the 120+'s from teaming... Just a suggestion. Good luck with the idea!
