I dont smoke. I have smoked cigs, cigars, little bit of green, and i hated it all... Its disgusting and why have an active life, if you smoke?

No I don't, but just about every one of my friends smokes weed, and several smoke cig's and cigars.

I quit smoking last friday ( been smoking for almost 2 years). I'm having insomnia since that day ....

Everyone in my family did (accept for my parents) and my dad said, when I was born, that if they smoked, they could not come around me. As soon as they heard it about 5 people in my family all quit smoking right on the spot. I thought it was an interesting story. I would never smoke, my Aunt and Uncle were the only ones that couldn't quit and my Uncle almost died from it. He has quit since though.

I don't really smoke at all, its a horrible habit!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

However I do smoke cigars sometimes at very special occasions such as a wedding. I have also been known to accept the odd cigarette if a particularly hot girl offers one (even though i find smoking incredibly unattractive lol) because i'm usually quite drunk at the time. I don't really want to discuss what's bad or good about weed so i'll leave it at that.

In a fire, smoke inhilation will kill everyone before fire ever gets the chance. That alone tells me smoking isn't good. :P

I'm 15 and a few of my friends younger than me smoke. Offered me one, but I put it into the nearest trash bin :mrgreen:

Yep, alot of the youngsters on this board will cross their heart never to smoke. Hell, we all did at that age. I guess thats a good thing, too.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

However, when you turn 18 and smoking appears to become more commonplace amongst your friends, it becomes increasingly difficult.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As stated earlier in the thread, I only smoke water pipes, and only at the local "hookah bars" once or twice a week as a social thing. I think its a reasonable trade-off to hang out with all of your friends to suffer through a few puffs, only in moderation.

-Its to expensive, really a waste of money

I don't smoke. I have seen my grandfather die of cancer and to pay for a horrible and painful death is downright foolish. However, I like the smell of cigar smoke. It's still bad but I have to admit, it is quite relaxing. I've only smelt it once though. My friend smokes and he smells evil when he comes into class. He's trying to quit, but he still keeps his cigarettes with him. It's disgusting. His girlfriend doesn't mind him smoking though. :?

According to a poll on drugs by the website http://www.talktofrank.com 20% of children lied about taking drugs such as weed in order to impress their peers. I'd say that its EASILY that on this forum, probably more so.

You're quite dumb. More and more kids every day in high school smoke more than ADULTS to probally. I'm saying this from first hand experience. I don't think it's that big of a deal. It's your choice if you want to smoke, why whine about it? :?
