saber_blade222
i loved it when i was a low level and thought that the littlest things were amazing. I spent my first 2 weeks killing goblins in lumbridge because i didnt know that there was any place, and then i soon got enough money form them to buy an iron axe from bobs axes  I felt so cool. And thenfinally going to varrock and doing shield of arrav, and then yeah dragon slayer was amazing i felt so cool when i finished it. But to answer your question, i liked it better back then even with the less graphics than i do now. Feel Free to Pm me for anything
ddaanniiellh
it was soo much fun when i first started playing 8-) , there was always something new for me to explore. But it was also sucked when you died. I remember dying with full iron and thought it was everything, now full rune doesn't even seem like anything if i lose it. ~Ddaanniiellh : 1437 : 173Lowest Combat to 1,000 Total in F2P (23 Combat)Check me out on YouTube! WolfhunterXZ
I do still enjoy the game, sometimes I enjoy it as much as I did back on RSC. Things change, sometimes though, I get on Runescape now, and I'm on for like 10 minutes because I just can't think of anything to do and log off, but other times, I'm on and I think of something to do and go do it. I always have SOMETHING to do though in all essence, I'm just lazy and don't feel like training my fishing or mining a bunch of coal and iron to level my smithing. But I do still enjoy the game, just not as much SOMETIMES. Wolfy is Officially Retired.I miss you all (Well, mostly my friends n stuff)If you want to talk to me, send me a message, I check the boards daily. :D

curmudgeony
The grind of the level treadmill really gets me down, I'm on the threshold of the fun higher level quests, but not quite there yet. For now I am hunkering down and trying to pull together some merchanting cash. I need about 30 or so rubies so its down in thieves den for me; then a month of wandering between the forge and port phantasim bank. Iron smelting, woot! Skully
Take a month off, do other stuff. Couple times in the past I just couldn't find anything to do in the game, so I took one month breaks. Got back, loved the game again. I agree with Reb, I did this a few months ago, and it helped. :D
shorty427
Not at all. RSC was so much more fun in 99% of all aspects. It was a lot more fun also when you didn't have to get 99 in basically everything to be known by people. Too many people play this game now Shorty427-96 CB merchanter/skiller banned 6/27/04The Jakal-109 CB 99 Range/Magic/Fletching, 80 runecrafting.Kirby1288-101 CB skiller 99 fletching. speedofsound
Well in the beginning, I was a Runescape fiend. i would play it all the time. I was totally hooked. I remember when i first started I would train on cows. One day I died to one, and was so frustrated because I had lost all my possesions, minus some combat tools. And even though I died to the cows, I came back. I would train on them day and night. And then, came my big break. I nice person name Pharone would buy cow hides 70 each from me. I felt like a god with all the money I was getting. then he quit, and I was shattered. I didn't come back for months. I remember the days when everything was new and every corner was a adventure. Now I know how everything works and where everything is, runescape seems to have nothing more for me. Theres no new secrets, no new places. No new adventures. being a noob is by far the best time of runescape. I remember......... I remember those days.... You can't ever find a place that's nice and peaceful, because there isn't any. You may think there is, but once you get there, when you're not looking, somebody'll sneak up and write "(bleep) you" right under your nose. Try it sometime. I think, even, if I ever die, and they stick me in a cemetery, and I have a tombstone and all, it'll say "Holden Caulfield" on it, and then what year I was born and what year I died, and then right under that it'll say "(bleep) you." Star_Fox
no way... when i started playing there were so many friendly people and i never experienced scams compared to now. :?
spikerkid
Playing as a noob is way more fun. Getting better armour from iron - rune, not knowing where anything is. Ahh the good old days. Quit RuneScape :)
Genoraven
I love runescape now that i can do all kinds of stuff, But somtimes I get nostalgic of the good old days......FLASHBACK....FLASHBACK FLASHBACK I remember that it took me sooooo long to train fishing because died to a level 6 theif and lost everything, as i'm sure everyone did as a newbie. I remember just enjoying walking around and exploring the vast realms of F2P. Ah those were some good times. I remember figureing out the puzzle in the quest "ernest the chicken" and then having to show a number of peopel how to do it. Then I Remember working really hard to make gold ammys to sell to the general store so i could afford full black..I was so proud of myself then... So i think it really is a tie for which time period was more enjoyable. Rubber chicken, you're the one,who makes Runescape, so much fun!Would be fun if jagex brought in biological warfare... Or even Tesla coils. I like to eat cake while excruciating!
