Password scamming

 

 

 

A friend (desimus, lvl 124 back then) and me were already joking arround a bit in Edgeville bank for like 4 hours when i suddently said as a joke "desi jagex blocks out your password (joke don't report me! :D)"

 

 

 

Someone reported me and on the evidence of jagex it said: "desi jagex blocks out your pass ********* joke dont report me"

 

 

 

Yet i got 7,5 blackmarks for that while i obviously wasn't trying to scam his pass, even after like 6 messages (with reply) to jagex they still were stubborn and the blackmarks remained.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now in almost every querry I send to them nomatter what's it about they add that they are looking to improve the in-game chatfilter in their reply which in my opinion reffers to the 7,5blackmarks given to me and jagex knowing they probably made a mistake yet not reducing the blackmarks

Although I know i shouldn't of had said it but it was never my intention to scam his password BUT 7,5 blackmarks for that was a really hard lesson learned. In my opinion they could of had been a bit softer when i stated it was just a joke

 

 

 

Obviously now i'm very caution on what I say as I don't want my account where I have 7800 castle wars tickets on (untradeable and such) banned.

 

 

 

I can honestly say i NEVER scammed someone before and I have always tried to follow the rules ... yet I got thrown that at me.

 

 

 

So in my opinion jagex should of had reconsired after I explained what exactly happend.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Btw a jagex-mod actually tried it out ingame to say it but it didn't got censored, and i have no clue why :? I admire the jagex-mod for actually going on his account and trying it out but somehow didn't got censored for him, perhaps i made a typo, perhaps ... I dont know

Someone asked how I got banned for item scamming.. Well it was a 3 day mute, not ban.

Some noob was asking if he could dupe my items. He said that if he scammed me he would give me his password. So I was like "Give my your password because I know your're a scammer." Muted for 3 days.

I'd also like to say that when I was wrongly accused of offensive language, I sent an appeal in and it was accepted.

 

 

 

HOWEVER, the appeal said something like this:

 

 

 

"Your appeal has been accepted, blah blah blah blah blah.

 

 

 

Please take the time to read the rules again before you continue to play."

 

 

 

So, after they WRONGLY ACCUSE me of breaking the rules, make me waste my time writing the appeal and then waiting for the reply, they tell me to read the rules which I never even broke.

 

 

 

How come the ONE time they get something right, they go and screw it up? Makes them look like complete [bleep]es if you ask me.

Now with an innocent to guilty ratio of 5:3, it's not reflecting too well on the system that JaGeX is supposedly very confident in. I'd like to get atleast 100 people surveyed before I even begin to think about sending in the results to JaGeX.

I think in real the ratio is pretty good, seeing how much people get banned everyday.

When jagex receives a report of someone, they just check if the accused really said something like that, they don't look at the context (it would take too much time).

3) Yes, what had happened is some friend got onto my account (i swear i didn't tell him the pass) then when a friend said hi to me he said it wasn't me it was my friend and he reported me.

 

 

 

-This was really bad because then I told Jagex it wasn't me and when you do that your account is always INSTANTLY locked and I could never unlock it as they would either not reply to me or give me automated replies. Eventually they just changed it from locked to banned after seeing that obviously me and somebody I knew had been on my account, and they took that as account sharing.

i once got reported for offencive language on my main wgen i was talking to a friend in a non offencive language but some kid reported me, i had 3 people as witness and evidence but jagex didnt bother looking. so this account i use now "heavymetal0" has no blk marks while "matthew16200" has 1
