Barbarian Assault Horror Stories?

Here's mine so far:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I was actually playing in a game where the Defender simply refused to tell the Healers (me and another fella) what poison to use on the Penance Healers. While bad in itself, this was a problem because the collectors hadn't collected enough eggs to kill those remaining foes with the cannon.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So, we were left standing around with 4 or 5 Penance Healers to kill, with the Defending laughing and calling us all noobs (I kid you not).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Rather than take penalties for trying to guess how to poison the Penance Healers, the Attacker went to the horn of glory and told the Healers what we needed.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In a stroke of pure misanthropic gaul, the earlier mentioned Defender exited the game just before we killed the last Penance Healer, and the whole extremely long game was lost.

My horror story is when I went to play and the other attacker on my team foolishly went in in d-hide and nearly died every round til about wave 8 when he finally changed to a different armour and still managed to die several times on wave 10

Hey Phelim. I have one for you. I was playing with a group and we went smoothly from 1 to 9. I am Collector level 4 now, and was pulling the team in points. Number 1 in points in 8 of the first 9 rounds.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So at round 10, we get the eggs and one of the healers is yelling at me to trade him an egg. Over and over, Give egg! As I am next to him yelling back 'Your inventory is full!!!!!!!!!!', He couldn't take the egg because he was full of supplies. This happened with 3 eggs in a row with the same guy. It was getting comical.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I am level 67 and do not have the HP to spare to get nailed standing next to a healer, not being healed and not unloading eggs.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So we finally get the eggs handed around and I load them up. The defender, attacker, and healers are with me at the canon yelling to fire. Of course I am the only one trying to fire and getting the message that there are still pennance runners alive (what was the fraken defender doing with us?). I got hit 8 times, with the healers next to me, and died.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Of course it was my fault for being a lower level than the rest of the team. I suppose it is easier to blame the little guy.

I have two, both with me in the healer role. In the last 9/10 games i've played I recieve the first command on what poison to use, but after that I get nothing, and they say healers are the worse at giving horn blasts. Second story, I go to the random room and pick healer and get put into a game with the lowest hp being 18 and highest 40, needless to say I was healing every other second as they also wore little or no armour.

It's happened several times to me when the defender has no idea how to kill the runners (one guy even shouted "the healer has to poison the dropped food..."), and the attacker hasn't been shouting out what the collector should be collecting, so all the eggs run out before the runners are killed, and the defender still has no idea what to do, even though we are all tailing him and yelling exactly what he should do. We had to exit one game when the defender just kept blocking holes and not doing anything about the remaining runners.

With all creatures dead except the runners the defender got mad at me (the collector) for not shouting the food he has to use for luring the runners.

how about i was using the horn of glory on the 10th wave and then when it exited me i couldn't see my invo so i couldn't give the eggs out...bye bye 20 minutes...

That happened to our defender the first time I made it to the queen. #-o

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

My thing must be: Wave 1, the def had no clue what to do and never called.

 

 

 

The col was new too and he also had no clue what to do.

 

 

 

I was healer, and seeing we're in wave one with only 100+ I thought I wouldn't have to heal. After like 75% of that wave one of the atters comes to me at half health, totally flaming me for not healing him. I was like: I'ts wave 1! If you need health here at lvl 103, you're doing something wrong IMO. He also was at half health and totally paniced. I mean half health, it would take at least 10 min before he would actually die, no reason to flame IMO.

I was playing as defender one game, when my healer had a sudden brilliant strategy.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

He decided to ignore the real food I was supposed to drop, and only tell me tofu because it would be easier for me.

Lots of defender hate here...yet I'm always defender and the healers never call out what food to drop, so it's not just defenders that can be negligent.

i can explain, i was killing jellies, then cave crawler, then went to barb assault :oops:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

oh and also i didnt die on wave 10, it was the idiot who was after runners, and said medic when he was 5 hp left -.-

You can do the whole thing in 15 minutes with 2 attackers and a team of 110+'s.

Yeah I thought you prob could cause I'm averaging 30mins per full set of 10 waves with teams that are like 89 - 98 in cmb

I know a lot of people hate defenders, I am a level 4 defender and its one of the harder jobs. The hardest being the healer in some of the later rounds. Even though they spell it out for you what to do it still is not to easy because the runners can be ignore the food for some reason and on the queen get stuck behind mushrooms. But like every position sometimes people don't call out and thats why when I heard this was team base just thought o no.
