zaquierming
i obviously dont play enough rs From what I understand dreams are made up with what you were thinking/doing about the day. So essentially if you were to play rs only for a minute you could have a runescape type of a dream? :-s We all knew some moron was going to say something like that. I've had a dream about RuneScape before, although I no longer remember it.Here's another moron who will say it. I don't play rs enough to dream about it. :P Heck, I don't even dream about bloodvelds. My dreams are always really weird and they never make sense. There's a great chance you have dreamed about it, you just did not remember it."If a tree lands in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?" Funny you would say that. I had a philosophical discussion about this today in class. And really cannot try to respond to that without getting into another one. Although, you do dream many many dreams in a night. Although, very few are actually remembered. Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-I took the one less traveled by,And that has made all the difference. Satenza
"If a tree lands in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?" Funny you would say that. I had a philosophical discussion about this today in class. And really cannot try to respond to that without getting into another one. Although, you do dream many many dreams in a night. Although, very few are actually remembered. Thats not philosophy, thats just a question with no answer or solution. Philisophy is about finding resolutions or improving our world. That does neither. With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.
Wachtwoord
You know when you've played too much runescape if... =P No I haven't had any rs dreams in my life. I have 2 totally different worlds, which totally don't interact with each other at any way. RS and The Rest. Peronix
Dreaming about RS has nothing to do with playing it too much... just playing it too late at night and then going to bed. I've had quite a few RS dreams going to bed at 11 playing RS right before that (even if it was just for an hour). One time I had a dream that I was in World 2, except in real life... I had a big bag of money with me, and with it I purchased full dragon (odd because I would never purchase dragon in real RS... I find it to be useless, and just 'pretty'). Anyway, I put it on and got my whip... and I don't remember anything after that, I think I woke up.
bubbels
rs dreams eh : ahwell i have at least 1 to share. i was a rs charaecter in real life, drinking from the sea and looking up to the apples hanging around. i received telepathical sound from "friend": i am jagex staff. you have to give all information about yourself to me". so i told him my country, my name and my "password" which happened to be my date of birth. after that i asked him "what you are going to do with all this?" and came up an answer "i steal your account when you sleep. bye". i woke up all swetty :uhh:

zaquierming
"If a tree lands in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?" Of course it makes a sound. And why am I a moron? No one said you were a moron. And how do you know it makes a sound? If no one is there to see/hear it, does it exist? If you say yes, how do you know? You don't, unless you were there. Of course logically it would make a sound but you can't prove that it actually does if you're not there. It cannot be proven logically so naturally you assume that it would based on the fact that it makes a sound when you are around, why would it change. That's just the thing though, if it cannot be proven does it really exist - must existence be proven? Anyways I've gone way off-topic. Better get back on topic. Actually, you're wrong. I don't quite understand why you asked who I was, but o.k... Anyways, moving right along - you're 100% incorrect. You're not thinking about it. Your self conscious mind is - you don't chose what you dream. Also, you could have only thought of RuneScape for a single second to dream about it. You have to do something a lot to think about it? Really!? Wow. Hmm, that's so unbelievably odd that I'm not thinking about breathing, isn't it? Also, most dreams are in a setting or situation that is not exactly possible in real life, so I wonder how that could be done often. Oh, "keep your thoughts to yourself" - And to think, here I was thinking a forum was to share thoughts and ideas. How silly of me! Soma2035
My friends still pick on me for this, but I had a dream where I got home from school, logged in, right in the middle of a drop party in Draynor. I put on a party hat to get in the party spirit, and got sniped by a Star Wars clone trooper standing on the roof of Draynor bank. No, it didn't make much sense. Want to learn to Nex? How silly of me! i was asking who you were because i was wondering to myself whether you were worth paying attention to. So you think to have something ingrained on your sub conscious doesn't demand doing it alot? And if we're gonna get scientific, breathing is what we call an "involuntary" action meaning we dont have to think about it and playing runescape is a "voluntary" action so making a comparison is a bit far fetched. Yes, that comparison is far-fetched. I think it's because you compared the wrong things. Dreaming is an involuntary action - as well as breathing. Whether the action that is dreamed is voluntary or involuntary is completely irrelevant. Now as for your contradicting little statement there at the bottom - you told me to keep my thoughts to my self which obviously says that the contrary is not your belief. Also, I'm justified in calling you a moron for having a thought which I feel is moronic, that is my thought - after all. And apparently I'm aloud to express it. Right? My opinion remains that you should have kept your thought to yourself, posting a downright offensive message is hardly acceptable whether you say its because you "believe my statement to be moronic" or because you simply want to start a flame war because you are bored. You said that you thought a forum was for sharing ideas, so did I, i shared an idea and your immediate response was to call me a moron, i don't understand firstly what your reasoning behind that was, and secondly why my statement makes me a moron.
