January 13, 200719 yr Ever wanted to be able to try out a weapon, but didn't actually want to buy it? Or wanted to let a friend use a weapon, but worried they might steal it? My idea is too be able to use your weapon in your inventory on someone else, and have them recieve your weapon, provided their accept aide is on and their inventory has room to hold their current weapon and/or shield. But, while they could use the weapon, they wouldn't be able to keep it. The weapon would remain in your inventory, but would be highlighted white. A new right click option would be added: "request* return." The weapon would also be highlighted in the other person's inventory, and they would have the option for it to be returned as well. Trying to drop or trade the lent weapon would result in the message: "This isn't yours you can't drop/trade it!" If the lender logs out, the weapon would be automatically returned. If the person with the weapon dies and loses it, the weapon dropped as normal. Ps. "Requests" can't be refused. the return is automatic. 7 months ago, shoulen m0nk lured me for everything. January 13, 200719 yr erm yea but there would be some bad sides to this. eg you dont say about what happens if they log and so on but i support seems kinda cool but it could be a bad idea aswell. but id say think about it a bit more then repost/edit it. Tif 360 MGC Leaderboard
January 13, 200719 yr Why not add if they get out of the screen of log, or if you get out of there screen or log the item comes back to you, therfore you lent someone your item then they log you will get it back.

Just buy your own weapon. it may be stupid to you but a great idea to others. besides what if you're going to go fight monsters with your friend but you or your friend doesn't have a weapon or doesn't have money to get one and you or your friend is afraid you might not get the weapon back.and this is where this idea comes in. i support, but about dying and dropping the weapon is the con of the idea. *throws sword at friend and friend misses catching it and he gets stabbed he dies and loses most if his best stuff* congratulations you have just lost a friend :twisted: \ \

January 22, 200719 yr Don't know that I like it. There are to many loose ends, so to say, that could potentialy cause massive amounts of scams. Sorry pal but I don't think this will happen. Yet another busted suggestion. (Kinda feel like a mythbuster only with suggestion buster...I am really good at finding flaws, probably just to much free time on my hands. This one however other people did it for me :D )
January 22, 200719 yr I think that I have found a flaw... Say that you are going to kalphite queen with full veracs, and say that you have been lent someone elses flail. If the person happens do die at KQ, what will happen to the flail? What if the person was logged out? Trying to get a new sig... Idea's anyone?
