snape kills dumblydoor

OT: Luring is sooo easy to avoid. That's what those nice signposts are for.

What does that have to do with the 7th book? :-s

Probably everything, Rowling did say that the 6th and 7th are more like two parts to the same arc than any other book.

But snape has already killed Dumbledore so it cant happen again. The story will probally revolve abit around that though.

well its the last book, someone important HAS to die

im guessing Hermoine (sp?) then Harry is depressed (he wubz her) and kills himself, although my guess is probably horribly wrong, im sticking by it :D

Huh? Wouldnt it of said in the books????

I wouldn't be surprised if Voldemort survives and the book has a terrible twist at the end where the evil people live... :-w

There's a line I draw with things I like.

I don't get TOO into Harry Potter books because I like them too much to raise my expectations for the final book. You're all setting yourselves up for disapointment. There is NO way Rowling will be able to please the bulk of the audience with her last book.

It's like doing a book report on a book you really like. Far too quickly, you begin to HATE the book.

Kind of a weird way to go about things, but it works for me lol.

Can't wait! Hopefully it will be a good and thoughtful ending :)

I really don't understand how Rowling is going to write this though. If Voldemort dies, it seem obvious that it will be Harry who kills him. But the only curse Harry knows that can kill is "Sectumsempra"? And Voldemort isn't stupid, he would own Harry in a duel any day. Also, they have the same wands, so they can't duel each other.

How the HELL is either one going to die?

I'm sure Harry will be quite capable of an Avada Kadava cures against Voldemort if he had to.

You have to WANT to cause pain, death, etc - for them to be effective. Built on emotion; and Harry has a lot of stored anger that's right ready to burst; even though he unleashed a lot at the end of OTP.

So no-one here thinks that the main character to die just might be Voldemort? :o

Harry and Voldemort.

Harry is the last Horcrux and has to kill himself to kill Voldy.

This has been discussed before.

This is really just my belief, so don't go saying I spoiled ya cause it makes sooo much sense :P

I thought the same thing.

That was pretty much word for word my theory when I first saw a topic on this (may not have been on this forum)

Can't wait for it anyway.

Those are some pwnage novels, I think this one's going to be far beyond excellent.

Then why does Voldy keep trying to kill Harry? As far as i remember, you want your Horcruxes to be preserved. If Harry's a Horcrux, Voldy would want to keep him alive, not kill him.

Those books are okay...Decent plot, great characters/development, but her world/setting could use a little work...I mean, how the heck do the Muggles never notice the wizards? I mean, heck, even Hermionie's parents are Muggles. And most other good books I've read give some sort of explanation, or at least a hint, of what magic is, how it works, where it comes from - in the Harry Potter books, though, you just wave a wand and say words. :-s

Overall, maybe 8/10. OotP gets a 7/10, though, and GoF or HBP (my favorites) get 9/10.

if harry is a horcrux, cant he just kill voldy and then make a new horcrux and throw it into the veil, but the soul stored into the horcrux is Voldy's because its in harry already.

My WoW character, gnome warlock Saldomar

I have a theory, voldemort and harry fight to the death and hermione runs in to stop them and voldemort kills her then harry gets mad and starts shooting spells everywhere killing random death eaters then he hits voldemort and now voldemort has a scar also, but its shaped like a skull(its small). Voldemort then uses advada kedvara on harry(my spelling sucks) but he dodges it and it hits ron, who falls over dead, harry now crying starts using curse spells like advada kedvara and kills voldemort, but there are still horcruxes left and wormtail secretly put some of harrys blood in a jar so he can revive voldemort again.

Again, this is just a theory.

When you mentioned the Dragon Plates I had a sudden vision of a load of gangsters running around in fancy dress yealling "Grim Reaper in da hood!"

The Harry is a horcrux theory is a good theory but its so obvious! That's why JK Rowling probably has something different for the horcruxes to surprise us.

I think it's Harry's SCAR.

Harry eventually finds out, and knows that either he and Voldemort both die or they both live. He, being courageous and valiant and all that, chooses that they both die. Neville then somehow kills Harry. The prophecy is fulfilled, two main characters die, Voldemort is destroyed, yet the ending is not "They all lived happily ever after".

I have no guesses at what happens to Snape or any of the "bad characters".
