Cannon - Is it really "Noobish"?

If you are refering to me then no. I don't like populated worlds. Before choosing a world I try to pick an Isolated world on the list, and go there. I do not show off my cannon, there is nothing to show off. 3/10 times I will go to a world and there is a cannon already there.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I am just using it for the xp. Not to make everyone mad and be rude.

 

 

 

You know full well we mean "worlds where the place you're going to train is not filled with people already training there".

Ive never been a fan of cannons (outside of a slayer task) Cause its kind of idiotic for someone with 57 range to be using a cannon at 200 gp a shot. But thats just my opinion.

I prefer worlds with alot of people in them when using my cannon(just when using rock crabs).

B. Higher respawn rates.

they are simply not getting what they want and whine about it. It happens in a lot of cases. Just ignore them, there is no reason to give them what they want.

personally i cant stand cannons... i got myself to 99 range without cannons and way before pc....

cannons arent noobish, but it is a tad inconsiderate to use them when lots of others are there. As long as u use them on a fairly unpopulated world, theyre fine.

Its annoying for anyone because you have to change world because someone has a cannon, it would get irritating if you had to continuously do this.

Don't put up your cannon if the place is already flooded with people.. Agreed, it's yours and you can do whatever you want with it, but at least have the common descency to hop worlds till you find one thats (almost) empty. And I don't think cannoning Rock Crabs is the best experience, try Black Demons, Hellhounds or Dagganoths if you have Guthans. :)

When the person using the cannon completly ignores the other people and just ruins their training i would consider it noobish.Though you can actually use cannon without annoying other people and get even better xp :SHOCKED: by just switching worlds...

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I'm with you on this one. I also switch to find an empty world, I do think that it is pretty rude to plonk down a cannon in a really populated spot...

Does doing that make you a 'noob'? Well, I don't use that word. But it does make you the kind of rude, anti-social person I'd never want to be around.

 

 

 

Firstly, you CAN'T use a cannon with an empty world at rock crabs-they aren't disburbed so they can't use cannon to attack.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

As for people who say cannon is nooby? Well, you payed 550k + cannonball costs, which ain't cheap. Remember, at the end of the day, you bought it with your money.

If I owned a cannon, I'd try to set it up in secluded areas. I don't like to intrude on other people's training, and when they do that to me, I defend my spot with as much strength as I can muster. If you are there first then they have no right to tell you to switch. If you come and they were already there, then I think that you should try to find an emptier world or a different spot.

Uh no. This was my first time using a cannon. So I wasn't quite sure what to do. But now I have a better understanding of how furious of a reaction I get from using a cannon in a world with people. So I switched to quiet worlds.

Then I ask them some level questions like... "What is your strength level?", "What is your range level?" ect. They don't answer.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Immidiately after I take down the cannon, they instantly want to talk to me. It just doesn't seem right.

When someone sets up a cannon I go over and start talking to them, then when they take the cannon down and leave I resume training. :)

Sure it's legal, but ethically, you shouldn't set up a cannon where other people are training. It's just being polite, they got there first, they should be able to train without people disturbing them.

In all honesty a cannon is going to ruin at least one other persons day, because the only decent training spots that are multi combat generally already have at least one person even if only 50 people are on that server.

I despise people who train with a cannon at rock crabs and i have found that the kind of people who do this do it just to be jerks..

 

 

 

Rock crabs are bad xp, they have garbage drops, they are not a slayer task..

 

 

 

What possible reason would you have to waste 400k cash firing off 2k cannon balls at them?

 

 

 

Oh yeah, the fact that a cannon cant target a rock crab unless some one else is fighting it..

 

 

 

So if your at rock crabs and your cannon is firing you pretty much just ruined some one elses training.

Anyone can ignore you for any reason.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you come to my world and start cannoning the monster I was training on, and I was to stay and be forced to train on another moster (or have to run around trying to find one your cannon isn't hitting at that moment), do you really expect me to make small talk with you?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you're going to cannon somewhere, in the way you do it, expect to get cold shoulders and not make any friends.
