January 16, 200818 yr Sweet, biox. Yeah.. dreadsteed quest sucks though. They've watered down the mats required which is nice but getting in a Scholo AND DM West run really sucks (especially when you have to run part of DM East first because no one has bothered to get the key). Try to save yourself the money and tag along with someone who has the mats. "LF Warlock with dreadsteed mats, paying 75G for DM West run" etc. That's what I did - think I paid 50g.. and the girl was doing it anyway, so she was more than happy. I was considering just doing it all myself, with the mats. I can easily afford it, even without touching my rogue's gold. As for the key, it can be lockpicked, right? NP's if so - either do it wit my own rogue or get a rogue friend to help out, and said friend might be up for the run to help me anyway.

February 7, 200818 yr Author The build looks fine arizark, but i have to ask: How in the world did you manage a 1246 rating? I mean, my hunter teammate had 6.4k hp and 0 resiliance and we managed to get 1550 in our 2v2's (I have 270 resil at the time). Just kind of curious, I've never seen a team that low before. Also, the bear mount drops from the fourth timed chest in ZA.

Ouch, ive seen videos about the trash in hyjal how you have to start all over again if you wipe on that section of trash. im at lvl 47 on my warrior after 21/2 days played.I also started 3 alts to capitalise on rested xp and ill work on those in rotation so that ill alwyas have rested exp.Theyre already at lvl 21 Warlock,21 shaman and a 23 mage with barely any time played on each because of how fast the exp came.The mage is by far the most fun and interesting and i was finding the shaman a little rubbish till i got to 20. My warrior like all my characters that i leveled up to 50 gathers mothballs between 45-50 because questing is dead, the quests i have available are a lvl too high so im always eating between mobs.I cant wait to get to ungoro crater, theirs a pretty hefty quest chain in their which grants at least 100kexp and its pretty interesting to say the least.Also i havent been ganked by a devilsaur for a real long time, that needs to change.

Go Protection, everyone will love you because you can tank instances! :mrgreen: Whilst tanking, which is keeping the mobs on you so the other players can kill as fast as you can, you have an important role. You won't need to worry about HP as there should be a healer. If you die, it's the healers fault, if DPS dies, it's the tanks fault - Therefore you need to make as much threat as possible. Leveling as protection as a Warrior is EXTREMELY boring - on par with leveling holy as a Priest/Paladin, resto as a Druid, etc. Go Fury or Arms. I think Fury is the better one but I've never played a Warrior. I do know that you can tank instances just fine as a Warrior specced Fury (from 1-60 at least). You will be asked to tank while leveling but it isn't necessary to spec into an eye-gouging tree to do it.

June 9, 200818 yr I'm not trying to get this new player to be completely prepared for level 70 raiding on his first character. We don't know that Rsautohater wants to power level through the entire game, missing all of the wonderful content Blizzard has created. My suggestion was given towards making sure he had a good time with his first character which may or may not include getting gear ASAP and bypassing all alternative leveling styles. No matter what he/she specs, there will be a learning curve; spec does not necessarily decrease time spent learning the class. I've known RS to WoW switchers who went to level 40 without even choosing a spec because they didn't know it existed. Somehow people learn the game in their own way. I merely suggested that Rs choose a more DPS-oriented approach so he does not get frustrated when killing quest NPCs at a slower rate than everyone around him.

Oh yeah and I'm currently levelling a prot warrior and a holy priest. ^^ good luck with that you would soon realise that leveling to outland where itemization changes, spells and talents change is where you really wnat to be learning prot tanking/helaing.I have a 70 priest and now a 49 warrior and its far more beneficial to level upto 58 and then learn the nuances of tanking as a prot warrior.I did spec protection and tank zul farrack all the way through and i picked it up very quickly such as the devastate mechanics so playing prot 30-50 isnt necessary do it once if you wnat but dont spite youreself with leveling as prot. My oppinion off the best warrior leveling spec is pretty easy, arms.At lvl 30 you get the oppurtunity to take part in a quest chain which leads to the acquiring of a whirlwind axe.This act is incredibly and can last you into the mid fifties...and you can get it in youre 30-40's.Once you do finish the grinding of charms to summon cyclonian respec arms and go into axe specialization.With all the buffs to critical strikes you get i usually get a crit with every mob i fight and it knocks away half of their health.This is better than fury which is what people think is the best spec for leveling.Not only that but if youre going fury youre going into dual wield so you're spending a lot more gold over time than an arms warrior with a big two hander. Also playing prot doesnt help encourage skill from a warrior, situational disasters help you more in learning you're class.For example did i pull 5 mobs when i should have pulled 3 and how should i tackle surviving this?Do i have my cooldown on my retailiation(you do with arms, best massacre spell ever) and should i go into a rage first, pop bloodrage and then do retaliation...
June 10, 200818 yr Thanks for all the advice guys. I think I'll still spec in protection. I always seem to be a more defensive based player in RPG's so I think I'd enjoy it more. But I might dabble in arms a little bit too.

Oh yeah also, yesterday, I went to Kara with supposedly a few bosses to go, and then they summoned me, saved my progress - There was one boss to go and then they left - Meh, I'm not going to be doing many PuGs much anymore, me and a few friends are building a Kara guild. Gief healers. :wall: Our kara runs consist of 5 t5/4 druids, our druid tank and boomkin could always spec resto and GTFO :P in case you wnat to know our raid setup for doing kara(only been in this setup for ZA twice and wiped on trash) Prot pally(awesome main tank) Feral drood Destro Warlock Combat Rogue BOOMkin Resto druid Resto druid Resto druid Shadow Priest(me) Arcane Mage We get criticised for it especially teh arcane mage and boomkin but theyre brilliant for farming where everyone knows the score and whats happening.

June 13, 200818 yr Even though I don't play anymore, I took the free transfer from aman'thul (PVE) to Thraussian (PVP). So if i ever decide to come back I can transfer where ever I want to. Not very often that you get to transfer from pve to pvp.

But im a bit confused about the different talent trees and which one is the best to spec, anyone have any ideas/tips?
