For Pete's Sake, I've said it 3 times now. I WROTE IT. Off the top of my head. I wanted to make the original post memorable without giving out spoilers, but giving enough info so that people would know what I was talking about.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

People also seem to fail in regards that the post has nothing to do with summoning, save the possible calling of Zaros back into our dimension.

So what exactly does this "Shadow Sword" do? Can anyone post a picture on it?

Summonnnninggg FFFFTTTTWWW!!!!

I, WolfHunterXZ, am far worried of the winds of darkness veiling Gielinor. The end of Gielinor as we know it, is being cast into shadows. The Seers of Seers Village, forsee darkness. (In the Behind the Scenes) and now the release of this Shadow Sword, along with foreshadowing from the Scouts and General Khazard worries me, I am scared for the future, this is big, bigger than anything us adventurers have embarked on, we should all be scared for the end is nigh.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This can be taken from the miniquest and Behind the Scenes seers visions. Also, I smell a small hint? The shape of the Shadow Sword as mentioned by many people, is shaped much like the MASTER SWORD from the Legend of Zelda (Ocarina of Time, and various other ones.) Which is strange. And a hint I think, the Master Sword was a POWERFUL key, that protected a SACRED realm, as well as controlled TIME itself, it was used to BANISH evil and SEAL IT. In other words, this could be the same sort of deal, except the banishing evil, it could be a key to the shadow realm, or control time in two directions, normal time to the future and back again. Perhaps the sword is the key to Zaros' return? If so, the next God wars is upon us.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The shadow realm is growing within the depths of Gielinor. A thousand years of darkness... We must do something, before we are engulfed by shadow. Saradomin, light my path, protect me through this growing darkness...

personally, zaros is the only 1 who makes sence, yet does not. because if bob = zaros then theirs no reason to see bob after doing this quest(which is possible.) but seeing bob out and around randomly then would have no point, where now its just like omg bob the cat!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This admittedly doesn't make much sense, but the seers, as usual, are merely cryptic messengers and very unlikely to be much more help. References are made to his people being made to live in the desert by his evil lord, he refers to the majharrat we released in Desert Treasure and Enakhra's Lament as the 'others'.* This ties in the previously incongruous Fight Arena storyline with a major story arc.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

- There is talk of an upcoming ritual, as the astronomical alignments are now right. We know someone on the Jagex staff is a fan of HP Lovecraft (see the second Sea Slug quest). Lovecraft makes references to the Old Gods arising when the stars are right. This is a pretty big pointer to an attempt to resurrect one of the old gods. Combined with the first point, it's pretty obvious that this is Zaros.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Now, what does this mean? There are several possibilities, including: a major quest involving your attempts to prevent this resurrection, and the completion of this story arc, or a WoW style 'world event' wherein Zaros is awakened on each server and every RS player being required to help defeat him.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The latter may be unlikely owing to technical limitations (although, say, if Jagex wanted to eliminate rares once and for all, having Zaros spawn in Falador Gardens on World 2 would be pretty effective...). 2) he says that zamorak promised huge pieces of land to his generals when zaros had been defeated (Lord Drakan was one of these generals, possible tie in with myreque storyline)

 

 

 

3) General Khazard says something about the allignments of planets, this could be something required to bring zaros back

 

 

 

4) Azzanadra could help in bringing Zaros back since he was one of his loyal followers until he was held captive in the pyramid

 

 

 

5) possible tie in with digsite and temple of ikov quest (staff and pendant of Armadyl)

 

 

 

5) One of the scouts seems rather disappointed that Glough isnt the kings advisor anymore (again a possible tie in)

 

 

 

6) Another of the scouts seems rather disappointed that Count Draynor was killed (possible ally)

 

 

 

7) possible allies with the queen of the dead (scout near tai bwo wannai)

And it can't be anything too dramatic, it's not like we'll see abyssal demons or other 'evil powers' in the middle of Falador any time soon.

No, as far as we know Bob is robert the strong. Someone claimed that the MOM is zaros.

Bob could be an avatar of Zaros, for all we know, or simply just a cat with dark wishes, who just happened to be Robert the Strong in a previous life. What we need to do is travel north, send scouts. What on Runescape is going on?

Hmm. The reference the 'Land of Cold and Half-Light'... Note the large gap on the world map east of Trollweiss. That's been there for a while. My money is on it being either relevant here or the penguin story arc.

He actually seemed pleased. He needed to investigate to see if it was true. This makes sense if Khazard is a Zarosian Majharrat and therefore views Draynor and his brother Draken (both Majharrat themselves) as Zamorakian traitors.
