RebelAssassin
Someone bought a property in Portugal which had been empty for fifteen years. Whilst exploring their new property they found a large barn in the trees. The door was padlocked shut. So they forced the padlock open. http://www.geenstijl.nl/paginas/mirror/20070215-pritt-mazda/index.html Scroll down the page. www.PETAkillsanimals.com

eyehawk78
Omg that barn must be huge! (I wont ruin the surprise) I was expecting something gruesome like a dead body or something. I wonder if they get to keep them? Or will it be traced back to the original family? Website Updates & Corrections | Website Discussion
Gin_and_Tonic
Holy. If they do some of them up and sell them on, they'd make mega bucks. Thats if he'a allowed to keep em.
____
AFAIK they're legally the owners unless they're stolen (which from the looks of them seems unlikely). Seems to be a private collection, most likely that of the previous owner.
Giordano
WOW. If get them up and running, the family could use each one for a different purpose. This one to go to the movies, this one to go to work, this one to go to Aunt Sally's house, and this one to go to the supermarket. "The cry of the poor is not always just, but if you never hear it you'll never know what justice is." das1330
some of those cars were in bad condition, but some were in ok, and just from looking at them and the names (cant be sure i dont read whatever that is) would be worth 50k+$. some look very rare. but that reminds me of that movie natonal treasure

Satenza
See, nothing bad can come of old farm houses with mysterious barns containing hidden secrets! With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.
zeekyhbomb
A barn that HUGE was ignored for 15 years? Those cars must be worth millions, some are in pretty good condition, just dusty.
Tigra00
I dunno' a lot about older cars from foreign countries, but I do know that they have a lot of money on their hands, especially considering they were mostly all in great condition. They were dusty so they looked like crap, but look inside...They were in great shape. I bet if you washed 'em they'd look pretty new. Lots of money. Will likely pay the property off. The popularity of any given religion today depends on the victories of the wars they fought in the past. - Me! Viktorkrum77
I love old cars! That's amazing! It's got to be a car collectors fantasy! I hope they auction them off. They even have the original license plates, and are mostly in great condition. Me doing staff.
irulepoker
Being the extreme car guy that I am, I started to sweat looking at those pictures. That's fantastic. If you restored all of those cars, and sold them, your looking at a large bit of money. The porsche 356 speedster alone is a good 200 grand. My Farewell thread. Please post nicely, or die. :^_^:Yea, I'd vote for him too. But I don't think they let Iraqis vote :P
speedofsound
Wow! The property owner must be enthralled. What I don't understand is how noone can touch a huge...I want to say warehouse like that for 15 years! Needless to say thats one lucky guy! : You can't ever find a place that's nice and peaceful, because there isn't any. You may think there is, but once you get there, when you're not looking, somebody'll sneak up and write "(bleep) you" right under your nose. Try it sometime. I think, even, if I ever die, and they stick me in a cemetery, and I have a tombstone and all, it'll say "Holden Caulfield" on it, and then what year I was born and what year I died, and then right under that it'll say "(bleep) you."
