February 20, 200719 yr Wow... How long were you in the hospital with bandages around your head after your accident? Losers...Are you blind or ignoring me on purpose?Even though I sometimes side with religious people in some debates, I no longer consider myself religious.
February 21, 200719 yr Everything is based on something. I challenge you to think up a completley new object. A swordchicken from the tower of life!
February 21, 200719 yr lumbridge/cambridge? There is a bridge over the River Lum. Ergo, Lumbridge... Lum the Mad was a character in the Dungeons and Dragons' Greyhawk campaign created by Gary Gygax several decades ago. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lum_the_Mad_%28Greyhawk%29 I think there has to be a tie-in there.
February 21, 200719 yr Treznor (Varrock Castle Gardner) - Trent Reznor was/is the frontman of Nine Inch Nails. King Roald (King of Misthalin) - Roald Dahl was a British writer of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" (amongst other things).
February 21, 200719 yr In draynor there is a person called 'Fortunato' or something that's from a story of... (don't remember which one) Ingame he sells wine and stuff, in the story he is known as someone who knows alot about wines \
February 21, 200719 yr druids were real christian follows Erm, no. Druids were polytheists and their religion was definitely not Christianity. Anyway, yes, that's one of the things I like about RS - all the humorous pop culture and mythological references. Try asking King Arthur what he's doing in RuneScape, for example! thx i new that they were some kinds religious followers, a just one my part  There's no such thing as "wireless." Just really long extension cords.
February 21, 200719 yr What, ya'll guys learn about King Arthur and Camelot during "world history class"? Damn, that's weird :-s But cool too on the other hand. I thought King Arthur was a legend and not a historical event, or am I completely mistaken? Put it this way, Runescape is not based on world history but on mythology and legends. Silverlight is some kind of Excalibur rip off, as well as other cool items on Runescape. Some other guy said whips come from the Castlevania Vampire Killer series. I very much agree, I mean, Jagex would've never given the abyssal whip so much power if it wasn't for Castlevania. Whips are normally used for steering animals and *cough* slaves *cough* Visit my Runescape comedy website, based on in-game screenshots.
February 21, 200719 yr Everything is based on something. I challenge you to think up a completley new object. :-s When did anyone have dragon armour or legs....Never heard of a dragon dropping armour rofl......Errrr Karambwan:- as of I know this is a made up fish?eating shelf fish thing...

Whips are normally used for steering animals and *cough* slaves *cough* Possible evidence of the existence of Arthur, the legendary warrior king, has been found at Tintagel in Cornwall. A Cornish slate with sixth-century engravings was found in July on the eastern terraces of Tintagel on the edge of a cliff overlooking the place traditionally known as Merlin's Cave. It was discovered under broken pottery and glass from the late sixth or seventh centuries during the re-excavations of an area last dug in the 1930s. :anxious:
February 21, 200719 yr Yeah, what Satenza said. Jagex made stuff that's popular, like Camelot and Romeo and Juliet. Stuff like that is fun to make in a MMORPG. Ofcourse there are bits of things that are in irl too, but jagex adds something that's 'fake' (like magic..etc) I don't know that much but I think Wikipedia can help a lot here. Credits to Skully Sc for the signature.

February 21, 200719 yr Am I the only one who has read Lord of the Rings? I mean, seriously...yes, 95% of the puns/characters/cities/EVERYTHING in runescape is ripped off of something else. I mean, do the new clues! Uri shows up, and says "I expect you to die!"....James Bond anyone? Saradomin himself....Saramon from Rings? The list is almost endless... "The greatest joy a man can know is to conquer his enemies and drive them before him. To ride their horses and take away their possessions. To see the faces of those who were dear to them bedewed with tears, and to clasp their wives and daughters in his arms." -Genghis Khan

PS sry for flaming  Considering is not the same as writing. The legible bit was due to the fact that there was a considerable amount of misspellings and wrong words. But perhaps I commented to hasty as well, because of the "you fool" part. "The greatest joy a man can know is to conquer his enemies and drive them before him. To ride their horses and take away their possessions. To see the faces of those who were dear to them bedewed with tears, and to clasp their wives and daughters in his arms." -Genghis Khan

I challenge you to think up a completley new object. :-s When did anyone have dragon armour or legs....Never heard of a dragon dropping armour rofl......Errrr Karambwan:- as of I know this is a made up fish?eating shelf fish thing... Your still using the concept of armoured legs. I said make up something completley new. With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.
