February 25, 200719 yr What is your opinion on getting cleaned in the duel arena, or dying and losing all your items or just losing your items one way or another? Well me.. honestly after i get cleaned i feel bad for about maybe 1 hour then I see it as a good thing... having nothing at all in the bank is an inspiration to me to gain my skills to regain my money. But for others it is an indicator to quit this 3d mmorpg as it has taken out much time in their lives. Where do you stand?

February 25, 200719 yr Author Easy advice for this.. STAY OUT OF THE DUEL ARENA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! no no no Duel Arena is a GREAT place to be if you know how to duel and know when to quit u can be very rich
February 25, 200719 yr I've been cleaned like over a hundred times. I usually don't care because i'll make the money back up and when time goes by, i'll be back to where I was or even richer.

February 25, 200719 yr I got cleaned pretty early on twice in the wilderness, and now I vow to myself that I will never enter the wilderness again unless I absolutely have to (level 3 clues or such) and even then, I will never take in there more than 3 items of value. You can tell, I don't PK :) ~ W ~
February 25, 200719 yr i havent been cleaned but have lost money in duel arena... when im really low my brother turns the computer so i dont get cleaned 8-) all it does is give me motivation to train my stats so i can do some owning myself :XD: 1593th to 99 Farming - July 08.
February 25, 200719 yr I've never done Duelling (other than to get at a treasure trail clue). I'm affraid to even try it depsite my high level. I'm an awful pk'er and know i'd be cleaned out by some veteran

February 25, 200719 yr Well, I lost my whip two days ago in the wilderness. Immediately headed back to the mining guild and started mining. So, I'd say I don't really get that upset.
February 25, 200719 yr i've never been cleaned most likely will never get cleaned. I believe the duel arena is the best place in rs for some people but sadly i am not one of them. I go there for low stakes and what not but never bring more than like 2m w/ me (all 1.0k-250k stakes for me) they really are a thrill.

February 26, 200719 yr I decided to do the fremmenik isles quest on friday, got to the point where you have to fix the bridges, crossed from the town clicked just below the nearest bridge and lagged. the lost connection text comes up and i wait and wait, then im in fally with my granite plate, dragon med and dragon scimmy, having lost my ring of wealth, glory amulet, rune platelegs, rune boots, obby cape and obby shield (aswell as some lobsters) thats roughly 1million gp which im sure to a lot of you is nothing, but to me is a nice amount of money. I was really angry for 10 mins, then i just got over it, i can always make the money back to buy the stuff i lost. Open ended games FTW.

February 26, 200719 yr I'd likely be mad for like a day or two, then do something do raise my wealth slowly back. Wouldn't it be fun when you were about to quit to give literally EVERYTHING away and then try to get back to there without accepting anything free? Someone's gotta try that, that'd probably get you back into the game :D There's cake through here, apparently.
