There weren't that many autoers till RS2 came out then RS1 turned into nothing but bots...

is this a joke? of cause there are autoers at rs1... there is just simply less people playing, so less autoers...thats misleading... people using auto rune might be banned, but those using auto miner are not... the autoer to real player ratio is still around the same...

 

 

 

What i was sayin before Jagex released RS2 there weren't as many autoers... Yes i know there are a lot still on there but i didn't say that and i wasn't talkin about now i was talkin about before RS2...

 

 

 

I still have 2 active RS1 accts this one and my old pure and yes no one talks for the most part.. Unless you hit draynor village or lumby

Personally, in my 5 years of playing runescape, I've never seen a autoer and hopefully I'll never see one.

 

 

 

erm, if you have played as long as you claim, you have seen a autoer. RSC was full of them. Everywhere. Out of the top 50, more than 20 was autoing or rule breaking, TKS, number one rs player over a long period of time, autoing. 8 people on my friend list. all above 100 combat which was a great achievement at those rsc times, was openly admitting to use auto programs such as **** and ********.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Even so, I never saw a autoer while playing. I was mainly coal mining back in rsc, as it was THE best money making skill of the time and yet I never saw a autoer.

Surely there are better places to auto, why waste time on metal drags? I guess it *could* be an autoer but that is highly unlikely, IMHO. I just don't see the point of it unless someone made a program purely for fun.

Its really not hard to tell. All stats were combat stats, meleed with a whip and pray bonus armour and nothing else, stayed in the same spot, killing the same dragon, and had a gibberish name.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Honestly, if all your highscore stats are combat(excluding pkers), wcing, or fishing, you are most likely an autoer.

Honestly, in RSC I didn't talk too much unless it was to friends. I got accused of auto mining when I power mined at iron from level 60-76. They'd accuse me for about 5 minutes, then I'd finally reply and tell them I'm not in the mood to chat.

a lot of people will fight same dragon in caves simply for a safe spot. If you run around you get dragon attacking you that you DON'T want to kill (steel in his case).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I would venture to guess that he's just going for a d leg drop. Autoing them would be FAR easier with magic than melee.

Agreed, however, when I looked him up on the highscores before I reported it, only melee stats were listed. It acted like a bot, its stats were like a bots, and it dressed like a bot.

lol, i spoke of past experiences to show how there was a huge community of autoers in rs1.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

and If i wanted to, or still played runescape enough to care about levels, i could auto, the ammount of auto programs out there is ridiculous.

Well my friend, you are one lucky man. I've been playing for nearly 5 years now and I've seen more autoers then you can shake a stick at! I remember awhile ago, there was an EXTREMELY bad autoer outbreak. Mostly ess miners and flax pickers. I can barely find a flax seller nowadays

 

 

 

Yeah, Jegax finally took out silent mouse ability to fix it ^.^.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Silent Mouse allows 1 user to be able to control a mouse on each window, so it would allow 1 computer to have about 4-20 accounts depending on how good the computer was. but thank god for jegax finding out how to disable it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

another thing that was the problem was that the auto'ers was actually hacking into the game. they had a hacked client which gave every object, item, npc, etc. a ID number. which then they could just program it to click a certain id and it would click it no matter the color, camera angel, etc.

The amount of autoers in RSC was absoloutly REDICULOUS. It got to a point when people were casually discussing macros in the public and every few squares had a macro in it. I'm darned glad that the mass bannings and restrictions took place. You could not do anything in RSC in late 2004, 2005 and early 2006 because of them training in every possible location. This is one of the reason I despise autoers so much. I don't want RS2 to become like RSC was before it became RSC player-only. :notalk:
