Tigra00
Uh, I'm 20... When I was 16 I could bench my own body weight (210ish), but after several years of being lazy, I'm now 185 and bench like 150...Just started working out a few weeks ago so I'll get there eventually... As for squats, right now I'm only doing 150 because we don't have a squat bar yet (will in a couple days I think) and I can't really do more without the risk of tripping or something...Just playing it safe for now. :P 150 is easy, I'm sure I could do 200-250...When I was 16 I could do much more than that. Word to the youngins'...Don't be lazy. :P I was naturally muscular thanks to my uber-genes, but laziness made me lose about 20 pounds of muscle, and gaining 20 pounds of muscle back takes about a year if you work hard. Boooo. :P I do so wish we had an actual machine though, like a BowFlex or something. I absolutely despise free-weights. Very uncomfortable. We have an olympic bench set and those Select-tech dumbells right now (which rule, btw. :P) /rambleoff? kido14
You might as well have named this topic "Post here to brag about yourself like all of the jocks at my school about how much you can bench." Anyways I don't know how much I can bench because I've never really done it. When I used to work out frequently it was just on the machines at the Y. Now if I do work out it's just push ups and sit ups etc. Last.fm: http://www.last.fm/user/Aaronm14/MY FAVORITE BAND:http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu ... d=64310717And the bible is the big book of lies, call me a racist if you must. Only 'jocks' are supposed to work out? Almost every girl I know is more physical than I am. Personally, everybody should be doing at least some form of strenuous physical excercise on a daily basis. Only 'jocks' are supposed to work out? Yea but that doesn't mean they have to brag about it like it makes them so cool. I'm hoping I'll start lifting weights in college next year. I really don't like going to the YMCA to work out because it's really crowded at the gym there. Celluzion
Best thing you can do is push ups for your pecs. However, if you really want to build up your pecs, you HAVE to either invest in a gym membership or some gym equipment, push ups aren't going to be enough. Known formerly as Ameoba3000.
