Bush has served twice, he can't be elected again. Ever. We did not invade Iraq for fuels, seeing as how fuel prices here are starting again to move to all-time highs.

Oh, what did USA invade Iraq for then? Osama bin laden isn't from Iraq, he was born in Saudi Arabia, so what is the point of invading a tiny middle east country then?

Psst, I'll explain why.

I don't know what they have told you, but you should know that whoever is in charge on fuel, has the power. There was no way USA would let Iraq get rich and get power, so after Iraq found out it has a lot of fuel underneath it, USA invaded using the old "we are killing the terrorists" excuse. I'm also going to make a very accurate prediction of how long soldiers will stay there. How long? As long as there is enough fuel to keep it profitable. And don't call me ignorant, many, many Americans think the same.

first of all, bin laden is from saudi arabia, but he has been dishowned from his family for years now and he hasent been there in years. also, iraq WAS a big threat. Saddam was crazy, and while he may not have had nuclear weapons, he did have proven stockpiles of wmds in the form of nerve gas, small pox and a number of other things. besides, after invading iraq, oil production went DOWN and before we went to war, they happily sold the US oil. Now that producion is back to pre war levels, prices are actually higher because of the cost of repairing infastructure. bottom line, you are ignorant and have no idea what your talking about. dont even bother.

Which country has the most weapons of mass destruction? Nukes? Which is the only country that has slaughtered innocent civilians with nukes TWICE? Which country lied about the proof of Saddam having his "bombs"? Which country was ready to put all their people (and same time whole world) into a threat of a nuclear war?

Also the fuel thing isn't about current price. The thing is that we're shortly running out of it and we need it. When the real chrisis starts, it doesn't matter did it cost x amount more in 2007 than in 1999.

And why was Iraq a huge threat? Why won't USA just nuke them like then did to Hiroshima and Nagasaki if it was such a "huge" threat? And don't even make me start talking about Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

By the way nice spelling, I'm not talking about you misspelling production or infrastructure which I don't have much problem with but damn, you should at least know sentence starts with the capital letter.

I don't see what Nagasaki/Hiroshima has anything to do with the US today. It was over 60 years ago and don't act like your countries didn't come up with their own nuclear weapons either since then.

Isn't that like saying you accept a certain ideology because they haven't commit crimes for 60 years? *points to Germany* Nukes have been part of your doctrine since they were invented and with your way, your leaders have put not just all americans, but also the whole world in danger.

I also don't really get your last sentence. If a country which had 2 wars against the Soviet Union, got over 1000km boarder with them and less people than in Moscow, do you think we would plan building our nukes? We've actually worked against them, for example on "nuclear free nordic" projects, different meetings like CSCE in 1975, etc.

If you ask me, nukes are something which we shouldn't have on this planet.

You say it as if I love nukes. I'm just saying US world war II policy doesn't have much to do with living in it today, and trying to shame me for "what my leaders" believe or do from the other side of the world isn't going to accomplish much.

Which is the only country that has slaughtered innocent civilians with nukes TWICE?

Tojo asked for it by killing off about 2,000 of our Military for no damn reason at all. It's like picking a fight with someone and then not expecting them to retaliate back. Quit trying to turn that against the US.

Shake off the dust... arise.

I would never want to live in North Korea, because then I wouldn't be able to get back out :ohnoes:

North Korea has very strict border controls, and only lets people out who are high up politically, it's pretty creepy.

[insert birds flying in a circle here]

Yes, that sig was annoying.

Hohto, making rash claims on the sins of the father is pretty condescending. Like your statement about Germany. According to your statement, a German child born yesterday is guilty because of Hitler's actions.

Not to mention, all nuclear nations are disarming. 300 nukes were decommed last year alone in the US.

Christ, is there any post on this forum that doesn't begin with USA being mentioned & descend into an Iraq War/Bush flame war?

This sort of thing happened with religious discussion & those discussions were banned for a while, it would be interesting to see any mention of USA resulting in a ban. :P

The biggest known fact about nukes that a 5h grader knows- we werent the first people to start building them, we were just the ones who did it first

I watched it like half a year ago... Nothing fine with kids not knowing what Jesus looks like.

No-one knows what Jesus looked like.

With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.

No-one knows what Jesus looked like.

There are many (and I mean many) famous pictures that show what he might have looked like. No place for excuses.

May have looked like isn't what he looked like. Even that picture shows Jesus as a causasian when he was from the middle east. And whats this emphasis on what Jesus looked like? Not everyone should or does follow one religion.

I was more surprised that some of the kids couldnt recognize some of the presidents more than that they couldnt recognize Jesus. If you dont go to Church or grow up in a Christian house hold as a kid then you may not know what Jesus looks like.

Speaking as a Christian, there is no reference to what Christ looked like. For all we know, he could be black. Only close-minded racist attitudes could just ASSUME that Christ is white with brown hair.

I actually would flip out and be happy if Christ was black :P. What's even funnier is that he is Arab regardless.

Only went to church 2 times in my life, don't believe in god. Yet I know who Jesus is don't I ?! As for presidents, that's exactly my point.

The picture you are looking was a mosaic created in 6th century. What's now? 21st century? And the witty assumptions that jesus was black were made in 20th century if not in 21st if I'm not wrong. Funny eh?

Edit: Please show me a single picture that is at least 500 years old where Jesus is pictured black.
