March 3, 200719 yr Title says how this thread works. If you live in a country listed, see if you can reasonably counter OR agree with the negative point (which can be true, a bad stereotype, and/or just plain stupid). Most of Europe - horrible taxes. Seems like you get the shaft with the prices of electronic devices there too. Japan - really crowded. Tokyo is also ranked as one of the most expensive cities. China - too much censorship, terrible human rights record Saudi - strict Islamic laws :: Guess the Movie Contest Champion: pfilc23 ::

March 3, 200719 yr Any middle-eastern/arabic country. I'm sorry, but I couldn't deal with bartering for everything on a daily basis. The business methods are too aggressive for me. "Da mihi castitatem et continentam, sed noli modo"

March 3, 200719 yr Think he meant North. The South is a good place to live. France: the most disgusting food items on Earth Russia: More than likely to be shot for my shoes on the way out the door. My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. Believe me, nothing except a battle lost can be half so melancholy as a battle won. -Sir Arthur Wellesley
March 3, 200719 yr France: the most disgusting food items on Earth You have to be kidding? I'd rate the food in France as generally the best i've ever eaten. "Da mihi castitatem et continentam, sed noli modo"
March 3, 200719 yr Some I like, but whenever I go to a French restaurant with friends, I generally order something from elsewhere in Europe. Some of the more culturally diverse French food looks like dog vomit. The "I am hungry, I am Man" commercial from Burger King actually features at the beginning a dish one of my friends got. She loved it, I was offended by the mere sight. My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. March 3, 200719 yr All of Africa - Disease, Civil War, and hardly any modern luxuries. Thats an ever so slightly stereotypical desciption of Africa. Not all of Africa is like Sudan is at the moment. He who learns must suffer, and, even in our sleep, pain that cannot forget falls drop by drop upon the heart, and in our own despair, against our will, comes wisdom to us by the awful grace of God. - Aeschylus (525 BC - 456 BC)
March 3, 200719 yr All of Africa - Disease, Civil War, and hardly any modern luxuries. Thats an ever so slightly stereotypical desciption of Africa. Not all of Africa is like Sudan is at the moment. Agreed. There are many nice places to live in Africa. South Africa, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, etc. My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers. I have seen pictures of Cairo, and they are not pretty. ~~Let The Dragon ride again, on the winds of time~~I've always felt as if I'm the only person who can understand the concept of sarcasm on the internet.
March 3, 200719 yr I wouldn't live in Brazil because of its exorbitant taxes, its corrupted government and its urban violence. Oh wait! I live here! -.- ^The most disturbing signature on Tip.it^Last.fm|HELLY KAYLA!|Oh the mehagurtz!|#Siencemakers"they care less about their spelling mistakes then I." - Lionheart"apinagez... let me

March 3, 200719 yr I have to disagree with you. South Africa I've heard is nice, but Egypt? I have seen pictures of Cairo, and they are not pretty. I went to Egypt (admittedly not Cairo) over half term and from what I saw it's a nice country if you're a tourist, but I wouldn't want to live there. The USA - the religious right. I agree, although parts are more liberal. "Da mihi castitatem et continentam, sed noli modo"
March 3, 200719 yr The USA, because it's cool to say that. And I find a big part of their culture sickening. I would constantly be ashamed of living there. Other than that, any other big crowded city in random country. I hate big cities and loads of people. I'd rather have a little village. March 3, 200719 yr China- Too many people India- NOT a lot of opportunity...plus its kind of bad in some places Mexico and (most of) Africa- bad living conditions Trix.--quit WoW as of 12/07Thank you 4be2jue for the wonderful sig and avatar!

March 3, 200719 yr This is going to end in flaming. Oh well. U.S.A: To many morbidly obese people (had to be said) France: the most disgusting food items on Earth Really? I'd take snails over a Big Mac any day, then again i'd rather eat charcoal than eat a Big Mac.
March 3, 200719 yr Meh, he probably doesn't know much better. Give him a Deep Pan Pizza or something among those lines and he'll be alright. :) Signature by Maurice SendakWhen the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool, that's amore!
March 3, 200719 yr T France: the most disgusting food items on Earth . yep it is i hate their food (their dinner food, they got the most delicious bread and bread toppings ever) and yes i been there
March 3, 200719 yr This is going to end in flaming. Oh well. U.S.A: To many morbidly obese people (had to be said) France: the most disgusting food items on Earth Really? I'd take snails over a Big Mac any day, then again i'd rather eat charcoal than eat a Big Mac. Agreed, but i would rather the big mac. Although I would make myself sick afterwards, I can't think of eating snails as... right. Probably cultural differences, but fish and chips does me fine. Also, I don't agree with their gun laws and Bush in general. Iraq: Obvious Iran: Worried about nuclear war and the rest of the world (Especially USA) poking their noses everywhere. Afganistan: Too much drugs trade, is messing with the world. China: I think their laws cinflict with human rights. Israel & Lebanon: Too much pointless war. Some african countries: Poverty UK: Chavs and a horrible government. Oh wait. I live here. What about places we would like to live in, and why? Canada: I Love their culture. Is better than UK in every way. South Africa: Really nice place to be and rapidly devoping. ~ W ~
March 3, 200719 yr hmmm, for me: iraq- obvious iran- crazy leaders, probability of being invaded by isreal or nuked by the US china- i like to complain about the goverment, and this isnt a good place to do it some northern european countries: because the tax rates there are exorbanent and for that kind of money I can go private on those services and do better on my own oh and finally most of africa, because they are incredibly poor french bread and cheese is good, but they do have a lot of very BAD foods.
