March 5, 200719 yr D. I like the sense of accomplishment I get from leveling, questing, and meeting new people. Same. Any other game you just finish then move on to another, where as RuneScape can never really be completed.

March 5, 200719 yr D. I love looking at my almost full friends list and think every single person on there cares about me, they like me for who I am, they don't care if I'm wierd IRL, or maybe way too skinny or way too fat. They can't see that, sure there are the superficial or shallow people who just like you cause you are rich or famous. But, everyone else I know can see down into who I really am. That, and I love having items that people drool over wanting. Also, I just like the general feeling of just well... Err... Its on the tip of my tongue, but the words won't come out. ~Saruman44 I have all the 99s, and have been playing since 2001. March 5, 200719 yr Anything involving a good monster drop or an adrenaline rush. They're few of 'em, but they're there. It's pretty much only the DK layer nowadays though (though I'm too lazy and don't have enough free time to start playing again and go on a DK trip :? ). [if you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.] Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.
March 6, 200719 yr I don't know about you, but I prefer World of Warcraft :D And Inferno_Char...you do know that Bow chicka bow wow is Red vs. Blue and is an...erm, innappropriate term? I used to like Runescape because of the low P2P thing and I liked to kill lots of stuff, and I wanted to build a house. BTW, my house is sexy and my profile is ancient.
March 6, 200719 yr D. Runescape has an inexpensive member subscription and very low hardware requirements. As long as you have a machine that can properly run the Sun Java Run-time Environment (JRE), you're a-oh! Spending several thousand dollars to get a new system just to play the latest and greatest game is not a justifiable use of money. Plus, it's the people you meet and the communities that form make the game appealling. March 6, 200719 yr D, but i like everything about it... its constanly updated, its cheap, everything you get stays there,(unlike some small but fun games) I love getting lvs, theres compotition, you can talk with your friends and make new ones, I never get bored with runescape (unless im stuborn and want to do something over and over again...) lol sorry bout the spelling... Snake Whats your average lv? viewtopic.php?t=615571&start=0&pos
March 6, 200719 yr D. I enjoy playing the game. It has the sense of mystery, I love to do the quests. Each quest has its own mystery to solve, and each mystery solved has a clue to the runescape history. The dragons, and other mythological creatures help too. Anyone who knows me IRL will tell you I'm a greek mythology geek.
March 6, 200719 yr A: Makes you believe your in another world. B: The fantasy theme, eg. dragons, mythological creatures appeals to you. C: You like being a different character D: I liuke to get away from the satress of the real world sometimes. Its all 4 for me.
March 6, 200719 yr D. I like the sense of accomplishment I get from leveling, questing, and meeting new people. Same for me, also I like the fact that you can play Runescape and enjoy it without spending to much of your spare time. :)
March 6, 200719 yr it's not like most ps2 games where you follow a set storyline or something..complete freedom to talk or do what you want Proud Retired Council of The GladiatiorzClick here for our website - 110+ F2P Combat Requirements
March 6, 200719 yr D. I like how Combat isn't the only thing to do. Being a warrior, mage, or ranger is a choice, and how you can have one character be good in all three.
March 6, 200719 yr Sort of C, but closer to D written earlier http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=624227&highlight= I play because RuneScape is one of those few constants in life. I started near the start of the game and had quit, returned, and quit again. Summers and Springs passed, purberty, high school, love, college, snow; life keep changing, progressing, evolving, sometimes to the point where I wonder will I ever able to stop playing "catch-up" with rest of the world. In those times, I turned to RuneScape, for it's always there, it's comforting. Sure, there'll be a patch or two, new worlds open up, new players, new areas and monsters and quests, but the gameplay remains ever so familiar; the cities and streets are still there - Varrock, Falador, O' River Lum. It's a sense of home-coming, returning to the old world where the changes are mild and predictable. Who is to judge that our experience in this game values any less than experiences else where? The life lessons are still life lessons, the happiness are still happiness, the pain still pain, the accomplishments still accomplishments. Ultimately, we're still interacting with other people and growing with them, just on a different platform. All I learned in life, I learned on Tip.it
March 6, 200719 yr @ author of thread: You didn't do any research. The three main reasons people play mmorpgs is: Motivation: Goal oriented people, need to be better, higher than other people Attraction: To see another person with a stat or an object you would like too, so u try to get it Socal: To gain the most friends possible and go around talking to them Also, a lot of the people who are very hooked on mmorpgs have low self-esteem and confidence. Your question is just random and doesn't prove anything. EDIT: Forgot to say. People who have low self-esteem play in order to be in the skin of a character that isn't fat/ugly etc. Link you should read: http://www.nickyee.com/hub/addiction/home.html If you dont trust my link, paste it in google and read it's description. 2480+ total
