Believe it or not, I'd only keep enough money to get me through education/college. Rest goes to the UN.

No I don't believe it. What is the purpose you hope the money given to the UN will acomplish?

Help the world? The UN is great. Why wouldn't you give money to the UN? They solve lots of problems.

And who needs tons of money to live a happy life? My family is a middle wealth, and I'm happy. I would hate being extremely rich.

Ask those who are rich and don't give a lot to charities or to help others. Or you could just ask lotto winners who hit the jackpot.

With 10M I would buy a whole lotta OJ

Quit Runescape... Dec 2001 - Jan 2008 on and off... mostly off.

With $10 million, I'd spread about a two million between siblings and friends immediately, buy a house and car for myself (nothing fancy, $30,000 Mazda3 perhaps), invest the rest and give away/donate the interest. I'd stop working until my university education was complete, also.

I wouldnt do something drastic with it, but i would buy my lifelong dream car, a plymoth roadrunner, then id probably kick back in a large house and live my life, spending money where i have to.

I'd complete the criterion, artificial eye and BFI DVD collections, and well, then I'd have more than enough left. Get my driver's license, a normal car, and a house with a movie room. And last but not least: an import bride from Russia.

I'd buy Jagex & give RuneScape hell.

Or buy a supercomputer and give away the rest of the money.

Good luck buying Jagex for ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã10m, they said they wouldn't sell for less than $500m

A person familiar with the matter says Jagex executives have indicated they wouldn't sell the business for less than $500 million. But Constant Tedder, the co-founder and CEO of Jagex, says Jagex isn't interested in being acquired right now and hasn't placed a price on the company for suitors.

ONTOPIC: I would treat my friends, my family and myself to a good holiday then have a huge party. Then put the rest in the bank for intrest. Would buy a big house (̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã1m+) eventually and a nice car, I would save at least ̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâã5m in a bank though.

I would invest it and save it for college. Then use it sparingly for the rest of my life.

Thank you 4be2jue for the wonderful sig and avatar!

I would go to college. ^_^

I would do the same. I'd use the money to pay for college. After college, I would probably start a restaurant somewhere in New Hampshire or New York (state). I would buy a big house but not too big. I would use whatever I have left to pay for living and luxuries.

I'd invest it and continue college, then gain experience in the Civil Engineering field before withdrawing money to start my own firm.

What's the Artificial Eye collection? The other two I know, just never heard of that one before.

In the event that the weighted companion cube does speak, the Enrichment Center urges you to disregard its advice.

ah so its all those films?

You wouldn't sleep for a week watching all of them Dann  .

The most important thing I'd do would be invest at least 80% of the money, setting myself up as a businessman. After that's all sorted out I'll have plenty more money throughout the rest of my life that I can spend on myself.

That's one thing I think 'celebrities' should do - there are so many scandals nowadays, with so many people becoming nobodies again - instead of stupidly spending all the money they get they should stick their fingers in a multitude of pies so it will be impossible for them to fall down.

Invest 20%, put 30% in savings, and the remaining 50% I would donate to various Christian missionaries around the world. This money would go to funding hospitals, dental clinics, bringing kids to America for medical treatment, etc.

You gotta be careful these days about donating to Christian ministries. Most of them are not charities and instead profit making organisations such as Peter Popoff who pays himself and his family millions of dollars a year from the fund. I personally would rather give direct to charities that help all people rather than though a Christian church who siphons off the majority and then only spends whats left on people they want to rather than all.

Ah, the TV commercials. I hate it when people's opinions of my faith are based on TV.

I'd be buying the equipment and paying shipping costs. I would know exactly where they would be going. The Missionaries would be local church missions. My home church has saved the lives of 300 children in Honduras with debilitating injuries. That region of Mosquito also now has the best teeth and health after 10 years :).

I hate people whose opinion are based solely on TV commercials too

I'm from the UK, I have seen no advertisements or propaganda from bias sources. My information comes from freely available financial details that the ministry has to publish which show the extent of their money situation.

Peter Popoff for example has an efficiency rating of $0.17 which in my opinion is awful. In FYE 2005, Popoff received $628,732, his wife Elizabeth earned $203,029, his son received $182,166, and daughter received $176,290. Program expenses were 60.7% and administrative were 19.6%. Those are facts not me just saying it to make Ministries look bad.
