Grogtholomew
With the looming PVP update, what are your thoughts on fish prices either rising to ridiculous levels or doing so for a short period of time then bottoming out. Shark prices have apparently risen a decent amount in the past few days and a lot of people are speculating it has to do with pvp . i'm freshly back at the game after not playing for years.. anyone have a better insight as to what might happen? Adizzle3131
Price will probably remain pretty high for the first few weeks after release then slowly decrease.
Omali
viewtopic.php?f=30&t=764281 Use existing thread. Not everyone has to have their own "Hey, *points out the obvious*" thread on the economy.
SirHartlar
http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=764281 Use existing thread. Not everyone has to have their own "Hey, *points out the obvious*" thread on the economy. Why not? It isn't your forum you can't tell people what to write and what not to write. I agree with Inuashakent, some might make cash off the update but many will just lose money by not knowing when to sell.
999134
on the first the the market will be flooded causing a huge price drop then by the second day the demand will kick in Check it out, huge amount of effort has gone into this massive mod![hide=old sig][/hide]
mervinator_9
Price will probably remain pretty high for the first few weeks after release then slowly decrease. Meh... pretty much sums it up There will be an increased demand, quite large at first and less later. The prices probably wont change dramatically as eventually supply will catch up to demand and every thing will level off. Omali has got a point btw, but w/e i guess if someone thinks its worth a thread then why shouldnt there be one, Theres a fine line between not listening and not caring,I like to think I walk this line every day. Pinning blame on Jagex is like trying to put pants on an old man. You both know he needs them, but he'll just keep dancing around, avoiding them at all costs. Yes_Its_Ross
The fish economy will probably just stay the same as it usually is. Sharks at around 1k, lobs at 250gp, and monks around 300-400gp. They haven't really changed much over time. ]
Omali
Why not? It isn't your forum you can't tell people what to write and what not to write I never said it was, but do we really need a separate thread for every item on the market? Anyway: Fish will rise, and then quickly crash as practically every item does when people horde them to sell them all at the same time.
MoeSzyslak
Playing the economy... I think it's like gambling... I bought 1.5k super strength pots for 3.3k each about a month ago (they were even less while I had them/after i bought them...) but I seen they're at about 4k, so I sold them all for 4.2k each, just cause i'm fine with 1m profit and I too think the price will come crashing with everyone investing. But who knows. Watch, they'll end up at about 5k each :wall: (or they could stay at about 3k each and my move could be smart... who knows.) I rarely do this kind of stuff. Nenga
It depends what all rewards you can get from the new pking system. If you can get anything from money to dragon, sharks might stay high. If its only food and potions (and the new armour they promised us) then sharks might and probably will dip. I know I'm only saying the shark market (because I don't care about the rest) but it applies to the other fish as well. Ponies!
jimmyjames227
The runescape econamy for Pking items is starting to rise. My username is jamesrules90 NOT jimmyjames227.Click here to feed me!A nice undieable one!!!
Fools_Taco
Sharks will remain at a good price. There will be lots of them leaving the game. Deathpiles always have heaps of sharks and if you are a PvP to win type of player you use sharks.

elit9
Anticipation = Huge price rise. Release = Hordes of people selling = Price crash, newby invenstors lose millions. I also think this is what will happen in the short term; it's "buying the rumor and selling the news". In the long run, though, there will be increased demand if the updates are decent so the price should go up by some amount over time, I suppose. Immaculate
I think that if anything, prices will either stay as they are or drop. Player killers are going to be looking for cheep but efficient food. The cheeper the food the better profit for loot. (or whatever Jagex uses as the drops.)
