Triquos
The Leviathan: ^ image by elfwood.com - created by vampireprincess007 So what is a leviathan you may ask? Myth says a leviathan is an underwater demon-like dragon! Cool huh? Now i've thought about this very carefully and thought, what could this mythical beast drop that is unique, awesome looking, and very hard to get? I then thought about the fire cape (even though it is flowing lava...) and I thought, I like ice, why is there no water/ice cape? I then thought of a name and looked at the examine of the Saradomin Sword and it had "Icyene" in it, and I thought it sounded perfect! The icyene cape. My idea of the icyene cape is a cape of flowing water with petite icebergs around the edges of the cape to give it that freezing look. How would you get it? You may ask. Well, deep below Harmony Island would be an underwater cave filled with level 273 leviathans! The leviathan itself would attack with melee, range and magic! The idea behind this is the fact that these are very hard to kill because they are ANCIENT dragons (like mithril dragons) and their drop rate of the icyene cape would be 1 in 500! So it wouldnt exactly be a walk in the park. ------------ Stats: ------------ The reason the icyene cape's defence and attack bonuses are worse than the fire cape is because I wouldn't want the fire cape to be under appreciated. These would also be untradable (thus keeping the fire cape unique). Icyene Cape effect: ~Bermuda's Pull~ This is an effect the icyene cape will have. It acts the same way as the ava's accumulator, picking up your arrows, HOWEVER it will NOT drop measely amounts of random arrows/darts etc. in your inventory. This effect is extremely useful and will give the icyene cape the demand it needs. Note: you must have either the icyene cape or both the icyene cape AND fire cape in order for the effect to work. If you just have a fire cape on its own, it will NOT work. Icyene Cape stat adapting ability: If you happen to have a fire cape AS WELL AS an icyene cape, the icyene cape will adapt its STATS to become the same as the fire cape! So you will then have the best of both worlds! If you wanted to PK, then risking your icyene cape would make more sense because as long as you have a fire cape, the icyene cape will have the same stats AND they would be easier to obtain than spending 500k+ per fire cape attempt :) Now this creature wouldn't be available to everyone wanting a unique cape. The leviathan would require 95 slayer (filling the spot and completing the slayer skill) also you would need to wear the diving apparatus as well as a fishbowl helmet to survive under the water for long periods of time. Note: If you have completed "The Grand Leviathan Excavation" quest (shown after the Dark Levia Dragon's drops), sequel to "The Great Brain Robbery", you would be rewarded with the ancient ring, which holds magical energy within it, which allows you to breathe underwater! This means you won't need a diving apparatus OR a fishbowl helmet for as long as you are wearing the ancient ring! [hide=Leviathan stats, info and drops]---------------- The Leviathan - level 273: ---------------- The leviathan itself, would be a dark teal metallic water dragon with an extremely long tail and cyan highlights along its body. It would use magic, range and melee. If you are within melee range, it will NOT use its ranged attack (the same as mithril dragons). You will be able to fully block its melee attack with the protection from melee prayer, as well as range - if you are within the leviathans melee area. This fearsome leviathan is the strongest of its kind and can hit up to a whopping 34 with melee! So be careful when going for those precious drops! Note: The Dark Levia Dragon will have the exact same stats and everything during the quest. To kill it hard and fast, it is recommened to have a high ranged level and use ruby bolts (e) to hit a few 100's and kill it before it kills you! This will be very hard to do without any help, so you'll need to hit it with all you have! Note that familiars cannot go underwater, and it is a monster you have to kill on your own, so people will not show up on your map in the leviathan dungeon until you have completed the quest! [hide=The Great Leviathan Excavation Quest!]Difficulty level: Medium Start location: Brother Tranquility (on Mos Le'Harmless) Quests: Creature of Fenkenstrain, Cabin Fever, Save Pirate Pete in Recipe For Disaster, The Great Brain Robbery, Shilo Village. Skills: Level 43 Prayer, 75 slayer, 43 crafting, 57 herblore, able to kill a level 387 dragon. Items: Diving apparatus, fishbowl helmet, 8 cut sapphires, emeralds, rubies and diamonds, chisel, hammer. Suggested: Good armour, good weapons, high-healing food, super set, teleport. Monsters: Zombie Pirate (57) Dark Levia Dragon (387) Walkthrough: 1. A sea-quential problem Head to Mos LeHarmless and speak to Brother Tranquility. He will explain that a dragon only heard of in myth legend, has been spotted deep down below Harmony Island and that it will stop at nothing to create as much damage as possible. Travel underwater and make your way to the dark levia dragon. A cut scene will play. You will notice the dark levia dragon has been un-chained from a wall; it will start smashing the walls and then notice you! *you will get the idea that now is a good time to run!* the cut scene will end and the dragon will start coming towards you run away! Head back and speak to some of the monks about the situation. One of them will say they noticed zombies go into the passage that you found, and that one even looked like a leader. Youll realize it is Mi-Gor from The Great Brain Robbery and he is back to create havoc! The monk suggests speaking to the slayer master and finding a way to defeat it. Travel to Shilo Village and speak with Duradel. He will claim hes heard about it in legend but never actually seen one. He says it's been told that it is so powerful it can destroy towns in minutes if it learns to adapt to air. He says youll have to speak to the wise old man about a way to lower its slayer level requirement for the moment as it seems to be in a rage. Go to the wise old man. Hell explain that when leviathans are enraged, their slayer level requirement shoots up and their scales become tougher. Its their defense mechanism he says. He said youll have to speak to the herblore master about a herb that calms leviathans for a few minutes. Travel to Taverly and speak to Kaqemeex. Hell say that the dark levia dragon is the only slayer monster that can adapt its slayer level requirement. He says the only potion that can lower the dark levia dragons slayer level is the goutian potion. This potion will lower its slayer level requirement to 75 for only 3 minutes. He says ironically it is a very hard herb to get, so its better to just have 95 Slayer, but if you dont, this is the only option for you! He says youll have to crush goutweed into a vial of water and add a wild pie as the 2nd ingredient so that the goutweed adapts to the wild pie and lowers the slayer level instead of raising it! He says youll have to use the potion on the dark levia dragon. This will give it a level 75 slayer requirement for only 3 minutes, so do the job fast! Go and make a goutian potion and be prepared to kill the dark levia dragon. As you go back into the leviathan dungeon, youll get a cut scene. Youll notice Mi-Gor speaking to the dark levia dragon. Mi-Gor will explain that a human has *found a way to kill you*. He says he knows that you are doomed now, but he knows a way to protect the future dark levia dragons. *Mi-Gor starts enchanting the leviathans to protect the future generation*. You interrupt, but it is too late. The leviathans are now immune to the potion at the dark levia dragons expense. The dark levia dragon will become enraged as it didnt want to be cursed with a wider range of humans being able to kill it (because you found a way to make it vulnerable to level 75 slayers and because Mi-Gor made an enchantment without its permission) the dark levia dragon will eat Mi-Gor and come after you! Use the potion on it and kill it. 2. The Great Barrier Go back to Brother Tranquility and tell him the dark levia dragon was defeated and that Mi-Gor was up to no good, but he was killed anyway so everything is fine now. Brother Tranquility will say that is good; however there are still many leviathans underwater that are now trying to escape. He says you must find a way of creating a magical barrier of some sort. Go to the last ladder before the leviathan room. Youll notice the ladder has broken from leviathans attempting to escape. Examine the broken ladder and youll get a cut scene of you examining it and noticing that there are gem markings along the side of the ladder, as if gems were placed in it to protect it from a creature. Go back to the wise old man and hell say that the leviathans are weakened by all 4 common gems put together. Bank what you must, and get 8 cut sapphires, emeralds, rubies and diamonds. Use a hammer and chisel on them to combine them into 8 universi gems. Place each one into the slots of the ladder and watch it mutate and transform back into a ladder. All 8 universi gems will now glow, causing a barrier only humans can touch. 3. The key to success Go back to Brother Tranquility and hell say the zombies need to be destroyed once and for all so that this never happens again. Kill every zombie on Harmony Island and underwater. Youll notice the last zombie will drop a key. Go back to Brother Tranquility and tell him of this mysterious key. He says he found a treasure chest along the shore that morning and is sure it will fit into the lock. He will thank you for saving Harmony Island forever and will be eternally grateful! Congratulations! Quest complete. Reward: Mysterious key and treasure chest (reward is an ancient ring once opened) Magical lamp containing 5k exp 7500 prayer exp 15000 slayer exp 2500 crafting exp Access to the leviathan dungeon. Ability to make goutian potions which, when made, give 487 herblore exp (since goutweed is extremely hard to obtain, this is reasonable exp and is a fairly good alternative despite it taking a lot longer to make compared to all other potions) Note: If you lose your ancient ring, speak to Brother Tranquility for a replacement.[/hide] [hide=Special Drops]---------------- Ancient ring ---------------- After *The Great Leviathan Excavation* quest is complete, you'll receive an ancient ring. This will be equipable in the ring slot, but can only hold 1 talisman, so choose wisely. As long as the ancient ring is equipped, it will restore your prayer points by 1, every minute. (same as hitpoint restoration). Last but not least, when weilded, it will give you the ability to breath underwater! This means no fishbowl helmet or diving apparatus is needed for as long as you have the ring equipped! Note: The ancient ring AND talismans will NOT be tradable. Keeping it like this makes the talismans only available to true slayers and questers \ . After much consideration and suggestions about whether these should be tradable or not, i've decided it WILL stay like this. Note that the Dark Levia Dragon will have higher drop rates of the talismans, HOWEVER, they will only go to ONE person! So it is up to you whether you want to team it and have a better chance of getting a talisman for yourself, or trying to get one by going solo. Also the slayer headress will only be dropped by the level 273 leviathans. This is so that the leviathan is hunted down continuously and not just abandoned for one-off untradable drops. ---------------- Talismans ---------------- The Hasten Talisman: If fighting a monster, you have a 1 in 6 chance of hitting 1 notch faster. If fighting a player, you have a 1 in 12 chance of hitting 1 notch faster. The Icyene Talisman: When attacking an opponent, this will occasionally freeze them making them unable to move or attack for 7 seconds. (The damage splotch will be cyan coloured when this hidden special has activated) The Lava Talisman: Occasionally hits 3 fire magic splotches for 1 6 damage each. (Damage is based on the armour of the opponent) For example, all 3 splotches would probably deal 6 damage each, if they're wearing melee armour. The Enlighten Talisman: If fighting a monster, you have an increased 1 in 6 chance of hitting your maximum hit. If fighting a player, you have an increased 1 in 12 chance of hitting your maximum hit. Ancient ring showing each talisman on it: ---------------- Slayer headress ---------------- This is a rare drop from the leviathan. The Slayer Headress increases your attack, strength, defence, magic and range by 18% when fighting monsters on your slayer task! Here is a picture as to what it would look like: This drop WILL be tradable, and will make slayers frequently come to fight leviathans for this unique drop for a chance at millions! ---------------- Dark bones ---------------- Dark bones are a 100% drop from the Dark Levia Dragon and can be buried for 300 exp! These will be tradable and very valuable. These would also work on the guilded altar, making it the most sought after bone in runescape for prayer training! ---------------- Fishing robes ---------------- Fishing robe pieces are available as a drop from the dark levia dragon. Each piece will give you a chance at fishing a second fish. As a complete set, it will give you a 1 in 10 chance of catching a fish twice! Exp included!! These will be tradable and highly sought after =D also, to keep the robes at a steady price, the fishing master will be willing to take the robes off your hands for: fishing hat: 1,500 cooked sharks fishing robe top: 4,500 cooked sharks fishing robe bottom: 3,000 cooked sharks These robes have no combat stats and will require a fishing level of at least 40 to wear and use. They will also be animated with flowing water! So, if you have an icyene cape as well, you'll be looking very smart! Note: This will be a dark levia dragon drop ONLY, this is so that more people will hunt it down. ---------------- Leviathan egg ---------------- The leviathan egg will be an available drop from only the leviathan, so you will need 95 slayer (or 90+wild pie of course) in order for a chance at this rare drop. You will also need to have completed The Great Leviathan Excavation quest and have 85 summoning in order to get this drop. [/hide] Leviathan pet: The leviathan pet will require 85 summoning and will not require any food once fully grown! (it will require large fish as food when it's a baby, either swordfish or shark) This unique pet will have the ability to assist you in a fight! The downside, however, is it will only fight monsters, not humans (this keeps it balanced). It will have a max hit of 11, and monsters will NOT be able to hit it! Another great thing is that the leviathan will automatically start attacking the monster you fight! Making it possibly one of the best assisters in the game! Triquos
Ty ^_^ that's a great idea. I'm going on holiday for a couple days starting tomorrow so I might have time to jot down some ideas and have an awesome quest idea when I come back \ I'm fascinated with mythic creatures and i'm glad others see the potential of the leviathan :P Edit: you just gave me an idea =D I could also think of a dungeon and map it out on photoshop ^_^ either way I think this idea could become bigger and I could add even more pics

sephiroth_king
Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Very well thought out, the cape looks awesome, especially the glow. TBH, I'd prefer that cape over the fire cape. Excellent work, I really love it. The thing is, how big are the Leviathins going to be? If you're gonna have a bunch of them, then they'd be pretty small...To make it a tad harder, you should only have a few of them. You know, for competition. Hoping to get a new Signature (with matching avatar) soon. :D In the meantime...Steam username: )I'll rewrite it later (add me if you want)
Baconxl
Nice idea, pretty well thought out. We need another boss like this with untradeable drops, nice job, I support. I do realize it hits decently high but I think it would be better to raise it's hp/def level since they are a little low for the drops.
Triquos
Wow I didn't expect to have such good feedback about it :o tyvm guys! As suggested -> I might make a map and quest to go along with my idea, the level and hitpoints are fairly low for its drops (I just liked level 171 sounds kewl lol) so i'll be increasing them when I come back as I have to change everything on the RSOF too :P Since the mithril dragon is 254 hitpoints i'm thinking around 220 hp? And maybe level 273, also I think there should be around 3 - 10 leviathans per world, what do you guys think? Also about the size of the leviathan, i'm thinking about the size of the kalphite queen, as they have VERY long tails
Chapp3rs
just a couple of little tips: 1) perhaps the icebreath would be blockable in a similar way to the wyvern's breath if you don't want it to work like the kbd's (if lacking in icebreath potions, a mind shield + antifire combo could be used, or a dfs covers both) 2) (this one may seem a little picky) it's icyene, not icene on the saradomin sword - perhaps this was deliberate, i couldn't say there - but i believe the icyene were a race of human-like creatures eg zilyana, the former queen of hallowvale. from what i gathered about them during quests, they did not seem to spend much time underwater either 3) while i do agree that this would make a nice reward, perhaps a (mini)boss monster, i do not think putting it at 95 slayer would be a good idea - currently the high level slayer rewards are more unique (i suppose you could call the boots unique if you like, as the set is slayer-only) rather than a slightly less powerful version of an existing item - and it would not have as low a droprate as you suggested, as even dark beasts drop bows about 1 in 500. i do think the idea is interesting, just not as a slayer monster though - it would just end up as a block task for a large amount of slayers as the odds would be like getting a dfh - probably not what is desired by the average slayer 4) i just have to ask, why the weakness to slash attacks in particular? most people use those anyway, and it doesn't make sense to me as slashing wouldnt be too effective against scales or plates (examine info)
Assassin1357
Its a really cool idea and would be a neat item but 95 slayer would eliminate like 98% of runescape from ever getting one and thats not really a good idea. And 1 in 2000 is way too high since you suggested on making a few per world and you made them hard to kill.

And 1 in 2000 is way too high since you suggested on making a few per world and you made them hard to kill. I think it being a high slayer monster is a great idea. Only the elite can get it, it'll be harder than the firecape to get to the level to be able to get it. I mean hell, people with 40 range can get the firecape, I think this sets the bar a little higher.
Zaaps1
Pretty good idea, but I think that the cape isn't good enough for the requirements (95 slayer?). Also, I believe that the Dragonfire shield protects against Icebreath, making the Icebreath potion a bit useless. And who with 95 slayer would not have a trusty DFS? warrior5024
I only have 3 bones with this idea: 1) 1:2000 drop rate? seems high 2) I understand why the stats are worse than fire cape, but it seems pointless to go for it then. Why not give it a special effect, such as freezing opponent on ocassion, or magical attack? 3) the Icene's are the forgers of the godswords, perhaps one of the most powerful beings that were on RS, so either re-name it, or make an effect that has to do with it. Those are my 2 cents, but I like it overall So, Lone Star, now you see that evil will always triumph because good is dumb.
Triquos
Hey guys Im back =D I got sick though so it might take me a little longer to get to work on the dungeon map and quest but anways Ill answer the current queries: Chapp3rs 1. Does the dragonfire shield really block icebreath? o_O never knew that. The quest suggestion from daxter76 could give you a reward with the ability to combine the mind shield with an antidragonbreath / dragonfire shield maybe? With a little magic bonus or something =D tell me what you think  2. Hmm I dont know much about quest history but I dont know what else I could call it =( ice cape sounds a bit boring and Icyene, well, I dont know how people would be able to pronounce it  . 3. I dont think many people would block them because they have some nifty drops and also at 95 slayer, heck, I would want to kill them till I got an animated flowing water cape, but thats just me. Sorry but I have to disagree with it not being a slayer monster as usually every lot of 5 levels there is a monster filled spot - except for 95. Heck, I could have put it at 99 slayer requirement but 95 is hard enough to get, it has no monster spot, and from 90 99 the only thing to look forward to next is the skillcape which is a LONG way away. 4. I figured it would be kind of like iron/steel dragons with whip I certainly dont see myself killing it with a slow as warhammer then it would take a WHOLE DAY to kill one o_O maybe it could just have no weakness? Ill do some thinking. Assasin Thats the point. 95 slayer is EXTREMELY hard to get, and yes, not all of runescape will have one. Also I see whenever there is a high level requirement people always complain. BUT we need more high level requirements. Im sick of jagex catering to low level quests with their measly rewards. Sooner or later well have to get higher level requirements and I, myself, wouldnt care if I didnt have the level, heck, it would inspire me to GET the level. About your second point, I think it should be fairly hard to get but I can see how 1 in 2k could take 10,000+ kills. Maybe 1 in 1000 would be better? That way its like the rarity between a whip drop and an abyssal head drop \ Zaaps I dont have a dfs  (I can afford one but I use the low budget version now haha) but anyways if what you say is true about the DFS cancelling the ice breath attack then thats awesome and will help out with the leviathans incredibly =D D-V sorry but warhammers would take all day long to kill them, as pointed out before, I think I might just get rid of the *weakness to: slash* option completely. War I still want to retain the fire capes effort and good stats, so I think the Icene cape should never defeat it completely. Maybe I could make it so that if you have a fire cape AND the icene cape, the stats would then equal the same =D that would make it fair. Warrior yes I might change it to 1 in 1000. About the occasional freezing ability I thought of that but then I thought the fire capers would complain about theirs not having a special attack too, so I dont think I could do that to them. Maybe I could introduce a drop like an *elemental cape enchantment* (stone that would be tradeable and attachable/detachable to both capes) then the fire cape could cause burning damage (like poison damage except for higher damage and it would be a bright orange splotch) and the icene cape could freeze the enemy every now and then =D what do you think? Raawwwwrrrr
the dragon doesn't look like underwear to me? anywho.. looks like a great idea, would this cape have any special powers that stop fire based creatures from doing certain things? (sorry, if its been suggested.. didn't read all of the comments.) : ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Danil445
Great idea! I love the look of the dragon! Just some questions here... First, how do we get to them? Second, do we need to wear a Fishbowl helmet? Third, do you need to complete Great Brain Robbery? And some suggestions... Maybe you could change the fire breath to just ice breath. Fire underwater is a bit weird. Also, you should give the cape the same stats as the Fire Cape. With SUCH small chance of getting it, you should make the cape AT LEAST as good as the Fire Cape. You could also just keep the bonuses as low as this, and add an effect. Like, ice spells that you cast, hit 10% more, and freeze for 20% longer, and if you get frozen, its just for the half of the time. Or maybe it could absorb ice and water attacks, making the stats better and fire spells would lower them (including dragon breath). I´ll stop now, if I start thinking of a suggestion, I can´t stop! :P Anyways, I support! BTW, would you like me to make a siggy for this suggestion? Hi! and ty ^_^ I made a map yesterday, it's still in progress but below is the sample. The massive room is where the dark levia dragon (leviathan boss in quest only) is. When you kill it in the quest it will be a room filled with even more leviathans (kind of like how in the swan song you kill the octapus looking boss and then the land is clear and suddenly has fishing spots =D) Basically from Mos Le'Harmless, you teleport to Harmony Island via Brother Tranquility, go towards the statue in the garden and head down the ladder, go down the next ladder, go east near the end and go north through the wall (there's a push-wall option) and you're in a hallway with nothingness (or maybe baby leviathans? =D) and then you go down the ladder into the main leviathan room. Unfortunately yes you need to wear a fishbowl helm as well as a diving apparatus. Although now that you mention it i'm sure they have pathetic stats so I could include a quest reward so that you can combine them with major helmets and capes \ ty for that  Yes you'll need to have finished The Great Brain Robbery as leviathans only live underwater and Harmony Island is a mystic place with dark waters and is the only suitable place. Ironically the title daxter came up with, rhymed, and was almost like it was made for it ^_^. About the rarity of the cape, it'll remain fairly rare as the fire cape takes a while to get. I'm thinking of ways where if you have a fire cape, the icene capes stats become the same for as long as you have a fire cape in your bank, inventory etc. also i'm thinking about a leviathan drop that would give both the fire cape and icene cape a special attack, so it's fair =D About that siggy request \ I never thought of that  by all means go ahead ^_^ also may I ask how you advertise the siggy in those tags so that others can use them? I've never done that sort of thing and when this idea is complete I could get to work on some animated 99 skill level siggies for everyone to use \ Changes i'm going to make: Icene cape re-named to Icyene Cape (as that is the proper terminology from the Saradomin Sword examine, so we'll run with it =D it'll just be pronounced as the "Eye-seen" cape as usual) Drop rate of icyene cape from 1 in 2000 to 1 in 500 (1 in 1000 could take thousands, whereas 1 in 500 is more like a dark bow drop rate which seems fair) Combat level of leviathan raised from 171 to 273 Hitpoints level raised from 180 to 220 If you have a fire cape, the icyene cape's stats would adapt and become the same as the fire cape for as long as you have one. More leviathans in the dungeon, from 10, to 30 leviathans! Range was doing more damage than melee which was strange, so i'm going to change this so it makes more sense: Max melee hit: 22 (was 20) Max magic hit: 21 Max ranged hit: 20 (was 22) Icebreath potion drops are going to be removed as the dragonfire shield blocks the attack anyway ^_^ this would also create demand for the DFS and keep it at a steady price. (note the antidragonbreath shield would NOT protect you from the icebreath attack) Built-in special attacks are going to be added to the fire cape and icyene cape
sephiroth_king
Well, in order to advertise the signatures, just take the code of the signature (i.e. It will be an img and you'll put it i code) like this: Put the signature code in here (This is where all of the buttons are, AKA Hide and Code, etc.) Above the code, put the signature. To do this: [img=Put Signature code inside these image bars, but don't put it in code] Also, it's probably best to put a support list up so you can gain many, many people. Just make sure I'm in there \ Hoping to get a new Signature (with matching avatar) soon. :D In the meantime...Steam username: )I'll rewrite it later (add me if you want)
Chapp3rs
personally, i pronounce icyene as ICY-een i think a droprate of 1 in 500 is massively more appropriate for a slayer monster, and --->while i do agree 95 slayer should probably have a monster<----, it should drop something more unique than what is effectively a different looking and occasionally weaker fire cape (this would still be worthwhile going through as a miniboss if you really insist on a cape like that) yes, the dragonfire shield really does work on the wyvern's icebreath as someone else pointed out which i kind of overlooked - fire breath underwater? come on lol one last point - you say it should be a slayer monster yet you make it impossible to use the black mask - another point to make it more of a miniboss like the mith drags (i still think this suggestion fits far better for a mith drag equivalent than a 95 slayer monster) i think a stab weakness would be more logical than slash, as it would have a better chance of sneaking through a gap in smaller scales, but no weakness in particular is just as good (yes i know the point before wasnt the last one, ive been remembering things as i go)
Triquos
TYVM guys ^_^ i've taken some notes and have made changes to the guide! As for the dragonbreath attack underwater, it still is a dragon afterall and it could be so hot that it's a BLUE flame instead of the cliche ORANGE flame. That would make things a lot more fun XD also I just thought about the attack and thought it would be like irons/steels :? so I have now made them unaggressive. That way it's not a mission to attack the one you want  Edit: done helms combined with fishbowl helm and added a dragonfire diving apparatus reward to the quest, making it equipable in the arrow slot instead of the cape slot, and also giving a +2 mage defence bonus, +1 prayer bonus and a no weight restriction bonus (handy when collecting kelp) \ Going to start working on the quest now
Chapp3rs
If you wanted to PK, then risking your icyene cape would make more sense because as long as you have a fire cape, the icyene cape will have the same stats AND they would be easier to obtain than spending 1M+ per fire cape attempt :) almost nobody i know spends 1m+ a fire cape attempt, unless it is the first time you are using crystal bows in all honesty, a 1 in 500 drop would take far longer than a replacement fire cape, as i think most people will agree that the first fire cape is by far the hardest to get yay icyene :) i think untradeable status from a 95 slayer monster would be very unpopular, as no other slayer drops are, and in another 4 long levels you get another untradeable cape from slayer anyway an elemental/mind shield will also block a wyvern's icebreath. both the kbd's and the wyverns icebreath, although blocked in different ways, can easily hit for 50+ without adequate protection, and with adequate protection will almost always hit around the range of 5-10 damage (ie shield + pot at kbd or shield at wyverns) - perhaps yours could be more similar to this? apparatus in the arrow slot?!?! how could that possibly be realistic - plus it is unfair to rangers, as every meleer/mage would wear it if they could due to the fact of stat bonuses in the arrow slot - all in all a very strange idea there. and why -dragonfire- apparatus? does it breath fire or is it supposed to protect you against it? #-o ah well, you wont have me pestering you much more anyway (look left) :P . it is improving though ;)
