Introducing " Tic Tac Toe " on RS

The object of Tic Tac Toe is to get three in a row. You play on a three by three game board. The first player is known as X and the second is O. Players alternate placing Xs and Os on the game board until either oppent has three in a row or all nine squares are filled. X always goes first, and in the event that no one has three in a row, the stalemate is called a cat game.

To start playing, you will need 16 logs ( preferabbly willows+ cause otherwise it will die quickly and can only play up to 1 game at a time )

Next, i suggest making the style i made in the picture above.^^

Now once you have the tic tac toe made, you can now start playing before the fires run out.. so i suggest ask a player before you make it. When you both are set and ready to play, ( see pic below )

X will go first, so once X goes, O will go after ( see pic below )

Once your opponent has moved, remember that spot and make your move and so on till someone wins. Then you can restart and play again.

:lol: Hmm, very innovative indeed. Noughts and Crosses has always been a classic game to play when bored, but I don't know if I would personally take the time and set it up in RS. The gameplay is limited by the burning time of the logs, and, like chess, I take my time to play. So... :?

But yeah, interesting idea.

Anyone can see the ashes just as much as they can see the fire :-s

Instead of writing a number, and having to remember it...you could use 2 different objects which are useless to mark the square you have selected. For example one player could use ordinary bones, and another person could you ashes. Or you could kill some imps together and one person could use one coloured bead and another use a different type of colour.

If you could get a bunch of colored beads that would be very cool. This is a good idea, but I think that there needs to be two different markers.

All types of logs burn the same time.

And I don't see how this would work, would be lots of cheating and it's hard to remember where you've put your markers. Just harder to visualize like this :|

Problem with dropping items as markers is they wouldn't show up immediately for both players to see.

Hmm, you could try using something that always appears, like other fires maybe, or something like where both people drop the X item on a space.

You could always drop the items in the spaces before the game starts and then to mark your spot you pick the item up and you can tell who went where by which items they have in their inventory.

If you were p2p, firerlighters would be the best option for the "x" and "o"s.

Maybe jagex should consider putting tic tac toe into the games place :P
