  1. april = a p r i l Tip.its method was good, because they put the movie on their site so it was hard to see coming. But my anti-virus was loading an update making my internet lag and I saw the vid and was like 'oh [cabbage] im gonna be rick rolled' and closed the browser. That still count? I went back and watched it anyways, since I felt they really did get me. Oh, and the literal version truely is EPIC!
  2. Now I wish I hadent eaten the canbage someone threw at me. April fools <-Nooooooo #-o
  3. Thats cool. Your just lucky (or unlucky if you don't like gems). I wonder if you can get gems (as a random) from gem rocks (ie more than 1 from a gem rock). I doubt it but that woudl be neat. Or maybe get random ore from a gem rock  *sigh* dont mind me.
  4. 10 raw fish and 5 flax/coal is generaly about 100k per day if you keep your kingdom at (or close to) 100% approval. I like to check mone every 3 or 4 days. If your a gambling man, you can do maple too. Sometimes you get a magic tree seed which is worth about 150k I think (from a bird nest), but you will earn much less over time doing this. Only good if you want a lot of nests, say to get god bird eggs or something.
  5. I want the roflcopters one. EDIT: This ones good too
  6. Your best bet would probably be lunar magics. So far as I know, only the desert and possibly slave robes have any effect. If you can cast humidify, you never need to leave the desert no matter what you wear until you run out of runes. And with a few waterskins, this can easily be many hours. I think dessert robes are about it though for clothing.
  7. I guess playing games like runescape is more appealing to guys than girls. But you also need to consider that not all guys play as guys, and not all girls play as girls. I wonder if it roughly cancells out? Anyways, Jagex has stated they belive that about 15% of runescape players are girls (3 of 20), so we can assume there a considerable minority. Just the way life works I guess.

I am guessing our author is f2p if he is worried about the one space. If your a mem, then get a freaking house and make some space. Since you smith alot (any one who needs to buy a hammer more than once a day presumably smith alot), this is probably a prioity task. Surely you can find something you don't need to make the space. If this is not something you do alot of, just frequently (like a couple smith runs, drop hammer, smith again an hour later), then perhaps you should stock up and smith more at once. And thats a huge ammount of waisted time. You have easily spent hours buying hammers. Unless there is an anvil in a general store I am unaware of, even the closest one is going to be 20-30 seconds. At 20 seconds per hammer that 2.7 hours, at 30 secs per hammer, its 4.17 hours.

This probably falls under Jagex having more items in the game than actualy exist. I know I have herd some resoning for this, beyond unreleased updates as things like a pistol are obviously not going to be added (and were actualy removed). There might be an auto list generator, or the code for teh items could actualy exist, and they just aren't in the game, just in the code.
  10. I think they fixed it. F2p gets the select thnig, but mems prayers can not be used in f2p anymore.
  11. All ads on all RuneScape pages are banner ads, which only show on the main site and in f2p. If you have one that pops out over half the page its either a sizeing issue where your computer loads teh ad before it figures out the size (sometimes when I load the forums the sticky and locked syblos will be way to big for a second. If the ads do this for a second, then become normal thats probably your issue. If its somethign you need to close, or a popup in another window, then you have spyware/malware on your computer that is causeing the popups/large ads. The runescape site itself does not generate any of those. I know that because I dont get anything beyond the banner ad, and my ad blocker never registers a blocked ad on their site.
  12. It has been a week since the quest (I think), so its about time the rate got lowered. Jagex always does this. At first the drop rate needs to be high because the item needs to get into circulation ASAP. Once you ahve a few thousand in the game, you lower the rate to a normal one. There in circulation, the drop rate needs to be lowered or the price will go down so low we'll need a mining expidition to find it.
  13. What I would like is an ending, but without a finalie. I am thinking of the Belgariad and Malorean book series. Easily my favorite books. Both series are 5 books each (and no small read each), and both series are the same story. Every book has a climax and a resolution and all that jazz, but they don't conclude the overall story at the end, only the piece of the story that book covered (each series is a single story in five pieces). Then, when the first series ends, the seond series picks up a continuation of the story a few years after the first ends. There not both one huge story per se, but they are the same charects and universe, and the grand overal plot is actualy just a continuation. The resolution of the second series in the resolution of part of the story/plot that was introduced in the first book of the first series. The way its done, you could only read teh Belgariad and think the story over, and the second series is a 'wait a minute, theres more'. You thought it was over, but it was just the begining. Anyways thats the way to do the quests. Each quest is a piece of a single story. Eventualy, you need to conclude this because when people never get answers they can become frustrated. But, you could always end the story, and make the ending satisfactory, answer the questions. Then, you can do another quest line, thats basicly a 'something happened and now theres more to do'. Maybe you stop Zamoraks attempt to get back into Gielinor. Then you introduce another series where zammys trying to get in another way. You end the story, but theres always the possibility of more. Actualy teh goblin series could be that way eventualy if they wanted.
  14. I have recived the maze event significantly more times as a member than as a non member, and I was non mem for more than half playing time so far (in days of account existance, not gameplay hours since I can't track that).
  15. I belive the idea is to bombard us with a whole bunch of BTS's on stuff as it happens, rather than wait for content to be almost done and release a hunge article that over half the RS population can't be bothered to read. Being short means we more of them, more often. It also means that at least some of the people interested in them won't be turned off by what looks like alot of reading. Also, they have not stated that this is the only quest story line they are finishing. They specificaly stated that only select content woudl be followed. I would seriously be supprised is MEpt3 was not a supprise. I don't mean that we can expect it soon, since I honestly have no clue, but I don't think it will be followed. I am glad to see they play through previous quests first. Everyone forgets stuff, and playing through a quest is going to be different from reading its transcript. While I too feel its short, I am hopeing they will release these alot rather than a huge one every month or so.
  16. GOP has to set xp rate because it depends on how good your team is or if you do a game where people agreee to have each team win half the games. Even if you win every game, the xp rate is abysmal. But, you can get the alter tabs, which take all the running out of getting to crafting alters, and something like a few dueling rings can easily be made/bought to return to a bank.
  17. They might yeild profit, but there much slower to create than normal smelting (like making jewlery). Also, they give reduced xp per bar for some reason, so your making something worht less xp very slowly.
  18. Realising of course that your charecter does not log out for...1m 30s I belive. Try doing this in the GWD and log back in a couple minutes later and see if your still there (dont bring anything valuble obviously). And if your not in circumstances where inatention could get your charecter killed, the game will take all of .5 seconds to log you out.
  19. If we did, all the other fansites would be out of business. So much for exclusive info, then. Unless we instate some now. ;) I thought that you already could mention fan sites in game. I could have sworn I saw that someplace even though I know full well its not listed as an exception. I think Jagex has been turning a blind eye to it, but I don't know for certain. Anyways this is cool, though I am sure there working with other fan sites too, like *shudder* Rune HQ. Oh, and sometimes you can get a good conversation on the RSOF. The people whom I work with to run one of the penguin hunting clans are all pretty smart people. They pass well over 1000 players through their cc's a week and maintain an inteligint thred.
  20. Am I the only person who knew exactly what the topic was from the title? Did it change? I like the loaded area first idea. Makes sense too.
  21. Thats a good one. Thats almost as annoying as 'pl0x'. I swear I am going to develop the ability to stragle people through the internet for typing that evil word. Wheres a supper power thred when you need one? I just figured mine out \
  22. I have a 27 room house and every room is full *except my skill halls because I dont have trophies, and I font have stuffed heads in my quest halls). I haven't timed it, but its over 10 seconds easy. I use lunar magics, so my house portal rooms are my teles. This drives me insane.

Something I discovered during CPR training as part of lifegaurding. If someone touches my stomach (below the ribs) and its skin to skin (ie I don't have a shirt on), my abdominol musscels with rapidly spasm, much like a shiver when your cold. Its really cool and annoying at the same time. I am a nightmare to practice CPR on because I normally arch into a bow once I am tickled. I can control it a bit by flexing the musscels. Unfortunatly that restricts my ability to breathe considerably, so I can't sustain it. My feet rarely make me sqirm, though it can be mighty odd if you get something like a feather or wet dog nose going on the bottom. I am probably ticklish in the armpits too, but its been a while since anyone tried and I can't tickle myself.
  24. I have been wondering about this for a while. I think I definatly drive faster when listning to fast music. On the flip side my reflexes are considerably better too (pothole dodging music). A good song will allow you to focus, and if it get any adreniline going, you are going to react faster. Basicly you become more dedicated, more efficent at what you are doing.
  25. A halbard will get you through. If you do it right you wont need any pots or food. What you need to do is get the knight between a couple training dummies, then you stand infront of one of the dummies the knight is between, and halberd him. This does not work if you are between the dummies though. Unfortunatly the halberd only has 2 attack styles (crush and something), so some of the knights will take a while to kill. Depending on your attack level you may even want to use attack pots to speed things up.
