Construction!!
It's on the main page. If you can't find it I don't think you should be training construction (tip: its under skill guides found on the sidebar). My advice: Go the the RSOF, go to the distractions and diversons forum (D&D  ), and find a star hunting chat like "Penguin Locations v22" (QFC:75-76-906-58301510) where you will read every post by Canada Grrl on the first page at least (for the love of god read the rules, read the locations, and read on how to trap so you know not to walk on trappers). Spend the points you get on construction. Cheep, effective boost. That is all. Note: I am not trying to insult you in anyway with the post. I just genuinly wan't you to read teh mentioned parts of the mentioned threds if you decide to use it because it makes alot of peoples lives easier. And there is also the archive of wisdom on these forums too.

A few F2P questions. =D
1. Is there any combat stat enhancing cape?Only for defensive stats, and there all the same in f2p. I belive the easter cape also has identical stats, but it also has an emote. 2. When training on the level 83 cockroaches, are strength potions worth the money spent? If you hit the things fairly often then they probably are, but if you don't get in alot of hits (hit alot of zeros), then they will wear off before you get much benifit. They will almost certainly get more exp per hour, how much depends on your attack level. 3. Besides Karamja, is there another place to fish for Swordfish? Heh heh, there most certainly is. In the Wild. there are a couple spots, around level 36-38 wild, and there is a revenant patrol route between teh spots and clan wars, so you will be attacked by revenants if you stay long or get unlucky. There is also a fishing spot in the bandits camp but that is not for lobster or swordfish. I used to use this in the legacy wild because pk'ers rarely came (its not in a multiway combat zone). 4. What is the best moneymaker (I don't care about the stats required, I just want to know the best way in F2P overall) Probably going to be merchanting, but I can't merchant and it would be harder on f2p so skill wise let me see. Mining is an option, and smithing can be used too. Mining gold is probably best for pure mining profit. Mining mithril might be good too. You can also mine, smelt and sell steel and mithril bars. For fishing(and cooking) you can sell tuna and lobster (raw or cooked), swordfish can be used too. Runecrafting (airs) is also an option. I don't know what the best way would be though. 5. Er...the superheat spell is F2P right? >_>; It most certainly is, and it has a 100% success rate when making iron bars too. 6. Besides the rune scimitar, what is the second best weapon? I am going to say long sword. Other than that, the mace, battle axe and rune 2h are probably your best weapons, and in that order. A mace is cheep and the crush style can be useful versus some enemies.

RUNE DEFENDER
Circulating the room is a good idea. I have found for all good drops killing everything in circulation is the best way to go. Also, I think that teh ROW actualy decreases your chance of at least the first 3 defenders being dropped because they are not rare drops. That might be why alot of people speed up after steel, because all teh other defenders are either unafected or droped more often as a result of a RoW. No one has ever proven it either way.

Ankous
70's for att/str/def/hp will probably serve you best for efficent killing and exp. People do it at lower levels, but there exp rates per hour are abysmal. Also, you don't need a salve ammy(e) per se, a mere salve ammy will suffice (though not quite as well). A regualar salve will still yeil better att and str bonuses at the levels I mentined than a glory will, and they have the same def bonuses. I think I killed ankous from 70 to 76+ in att/str/def/hp, and made some decent money as well as a few l3 clues (two in one day, then none for several levels), and used some of the blood drops to get a god spell (actualy it was at a time before the death alter, so I sold alot of deaths and bought even more bloods with them).

"Free" Exp per week
With a good peguin chat, people can find all 10 penguins in normally 40-60 minutes, but experianced hunters going for speed records have done it in 15-20 minutes, and I can do it in 30-45 minutes personaly. Time with a group depends on how many trappers and hunters there are, how good the trappers are, and how many penguins have known locations. For penguins the exp is 25*level in skill your giveing exp to*number of points. With coldwar you can get up to 15 points, without teh quests you can get up to 10 (1 per penguin). I think its around the 50's levels, you can get a level or 2 with 15 points a week, and its great for things like con, herb, summoning, and prayer which are slow and/or costly. OR anything else you don't like. Tears of guthix is nice becuase it takes no time at all. Unfortunatly it only goes to your lowest skill. The circus is great for free exp (unless you go for points, which gives garbage exp). Successful completion of each level of spell dificulty in magic yeilds 25k exp for someone with 99 magic, I think I get about 20-22k and that was last done at 69 magic (I now have 70). Succeful completion of each level of dificulty for range is about 15.5k for someone between 80-90 rnage, I get about 10-12k I think. Agility probably maxes out around 10k exp, I think I get about 5-6k exp. Note that you need to do each level of task only once, even if you fail don't try that level again because you can't get the exp. agilitys is even trikier because jugling counts at as teh level you juggled at and you can only get exp for juggling once (so don't bother jugling). I do 60-99 mage with clach, and 10-50 mage with elemental. I do range as 99-60 with dartboard, 50-10 with ducks. I don't juggle in agility and preform each trick once. There are some other things out there such as the jade jine for slayer too.

Special attacks of the four godswords?
From memory, both bandos and zammorak fail xat speccing becuas eof the ammount of special energy they consume. I remember teh sgs beign 50%, zgs being 60%, bgs being 100% and ags being 25% (though I expect I am mistaken about the ags, that would be ludicrusly powerful).

First Time They gone down
Im not so sure Jagex had nothing to do with it but I do agree with you about the rumours of a crash, could be a self fulfilled prophecy. Prices are very sensitive to rumors. If there is a rumor about a price crash for something as expensive and still unknown as dclaws, there will not be enough rational people to maintain the price. People will start selling to get rid of their claws before the supposed crash, then people will realise there not rising as fast or there starting to go down or whatever and they will start to sell before a crash. When that happens, it causes a crash and everyone goes into their 'sell!sell!sell!' frenzy that ruins the prices of such items. In otherwords. A self fulfiling prophecy.

Paradoxes
As a point of general interest you can't divide by zero. Any number divided by zero does NOT = zero. A calculator will normally give: error, divide by zero error, or undefined (the latter being to generaly excepted answer). Zero is nothing, and you can't divide anything by nothing, you can't even divide nothign by nothing. It dosen't equal infinity, it is simply undefined. And thats from a mathmatical system that solved how to square root a negative (or any even root). I like the one about half distances, and because an object must always travel half the distance to it's destination, it will never get there because everytime it gets half way, there is a new halfway. Unfortunatly thats more bad logic and lack of calulus (which actualy can be used to divide by zero, its called finding tanget lines) than anything else, and it is quite obviusly false. There is also one about at any single point in time, nothing can move, since all movement is essentialy a distance for a given time interval (or a derivitive of that function such as acceleration, jerk and snap). If the given time interval is zero, then there can't be movement becuase we are back at tehhe whole dividing by zero thing. Acording to teh original idea, movement is immpossible becuase time is an infinate series of instantaneous points and there can be no movement at an instantaneous point in time. Other than bad logic, infinity offers a few good one. First off, due to the nature of the concept of infinity, all infinitys are equal. There are also infinate numbers. Now consider this: - The number of even numbers = infinity and the number of odd numbers = infinity so the number of even numbers = the number of odd numbers. Strait forward so far? - There are an infinate number of numbers, so the # of even numbers = # of odd numbers = infinty = number of numbers - There are an infinate number of numbers so there are also in infinate ammount of prime numbers therfore the # of numbers = the # of prime numbers. Now think about that one. To our minds, we know that there are definatly more numbers that there are prime numbers, especialy considering that numbers incluses prime (plus a whole lot more). Still, becuase of how all infinitys are equal, the statement stands. Not really a paradox, but I realy like the mobius strip (just wikipedia it if you don't know what it is or how to make one). Everytime I make one and trace a line on it, it just blows my mind all over again. How can a 1 sided object (minus the edges) exist in 3D space? Even if you count edges, which adds 2 sides, you only have 3 sides. 3 sides is good enough you say? How about you go find me a D3 (3 sided die).

30-January-2009 Penguin bannings
THANK GOD. Honestly. I was present when the bug was taking place. I personaly discovered it when I got 2 extra points tryign to trap a penguin (you click on the penguins on accident, it happens). After I realised what was going on, I just logged out and started playing Baldur's Gate II: SoA becuase teh temptation was driving me crazy. 99 in any skill was maybe an hour or two away if I wanted. I am glad to see that they are going to probably perm ban the people who were gaining a million exp in about 5 minutes (the ardy penguin was so close to larry this pretty much is a realistic time frame). I was getting worried they wouldn't do anything, but they couldn't let it go or they would have tought a few thousand players to abuse bugs for gain.

Ok, f2p has TB... now whats the cheapest way to 85 mag, lol
Cheep way is either FOG or using the alch option of an explorer ring. The latter being slower. Maybe use both? Other than that you are going to pay. If you were a mem I would say mud staff and curse (for cheepness), but I would think alchign or super heating would be cheeper and faster.

Warriors Guild and defenders
From information I have gathered elsewhere, if you are using a Ring of Wealth it is at best pointless and at worst counter productive. It seems to be suspected that the first 3 defenders at least are not rare drops, so the Ring of Wealth could make drops more rare. Other than that make sure to show here the defender and keep trying.

How many Runescape players out there are adults like me?
I am legaly an adult (in everthing except the legal drinking age of 19, but I can vote  ). I started playing when I was 13. I am now 18. I just realised I have been playing this game for every year of my teenage life

Magic Interface Features - 27th January 2009
If they had a full stomisation it would probably reqire alot of memory. Instead, they can simply store a small variable that says what format your spells are rather than a variable for EVERY spell and its position. When applied to all the spell books for every player, thats a large increse in memory demand for one update.

sexist runescape!? but...but...but.....how?
The majority of RuneScape is male (or at least pretending to be). Guys generaly seem to have larger issues with wearing skirts than girs do wearing pants. Girls wearing pants (versus a dress or skirt) is no longer shooking or against the law, and does not make you a 'tom boy'. On the other hand, guys wering skirts (note that kilts are entirely different) is considered anything form unmanly to creepy to being a cross dresser. Its just considered to be wrong. The point is that guys don't wan't to wear a skirt, its like wearing a personal insult. Since most players are guys, and guys don't wan't skirts, there is a serious lack of demand. Now people here are probably sick of people throwing supply and demmand around like the be all and end all of economics, but in this case it is the explanation. Also, as many people have probably pointed out this is not classic and guys can wear skirts. Also, in the npc shops, the price for legs and skirts is actualy identical.

Tarn's lair? can i do it?

Mages runes SHOULDENT stack
I get the point..the one about reading posts. The problem is this is not the RSOF, and we do not have a 2000 charecter limit. I don't know if we even have a limit. Multiple posts by the OP are normally reserved for the AOE forum where some (but not many) will put each topic of a guide on a different post. Then again, this applys nicely to the help and advice forum where many don't read the responses and thus everyone repeats the same stuff, sometimes none of it being the answer to the question asked.

The Great Orb Project
If you go to a world where players do 50/50 games, you get 500 tokens per game. Dive however many tokens you need by 500, then multiply by the number of minutes in a game, then divide by 60 for the number of hours.

Agree except for any implied inclusion of the agility part. Thats what made me lose my sanity, and it also raised my blood pressure a good few notches.

Finding Eluned
You need to stat MEP1 to access Lletya. You need to finish roving elves to start MEP1. In short, you have to do roving elves first, but as soon as your done you can start MEP1, recive your crystal and be sent strait into Lletya.
