Am I the only one who thinks AGS is not worth it??
If an AGS can get you 63m in proffit doing whatever with it than I guess its worth it. Personaly I would never take something like an AGS or D claws into pvp because I would presumably be attacking people and would never risk that kind of monney. I am suprissed people who use those weapons don't get pilled when people see them in use, or in single way zones at least continualy assulted. I guess its a benifit of the money risking system Jagex put in place. Still, I would kill go after someone with those weapons just to kill them, and having them lose those items would make my day (oddly enough I am generaly a very nice person). Personaly I don't think its worth it, but I would still buy one if I could just to have it (but if a different one cost more I would get that one instead so -.- ). If I feel an urge to hit supper high hits, I can take a keris to kalphites and wait for its invisible spec to kick in on a good base hit (I think the keris can still outhit any other weapon if your super lucky and your opponent has enough hp, even though its only against beetles). If I wanted bonus damage, I would go for the BGS. 40% of the bonus damage for about 30% of the cost seems like a good idea to me.

Shouldn't we be allowed to stock pile air rc gloves
It is a sort of pointless restriction. Rahter than run around agthering the things all at once, you have to do it every 1,000 ess. The thing is, for one I honestly don't belive that this is a balence issue, because the difference in time for stacking versus non-stacking is not very much (even if there is a bank in fog, which I don't know if there is or not), especialy not for members with our games necklace. I think Jagex wanted you to take a 3 minute break from boredomville and click on something else, maybe even log out, look around the rooms and take a breth of fresh air. I think this was done to interupt the game more than anything else. Even with the first 3 (or 4) pouches, there is no super fast way to burn through 100 ess. In theory, I expect the fastest way is to withdraw your ess, fill you pouches (if you have 4 pouches, don't use the small one that holds 3, otherwise you need to withdraw form bank 3 times and that costs more time than it's worth), then withdraw a tele tab to a bank (falador is pretty close), withdraw you ess. It is assumed you have explorers ring 3 and then tele using that before running to the alter. You can speed things up even more by using air rune tabs from teh guild and house tabs to get to your mounted glory that is arraged to be as close to the house portal as possible to tele to edge. Using a mounted glory would be faster over time because swaping out glorys is another bank withdraw screen costing too much time. This of course does not account for the time and/or cost of aquireing tabs and mounted glorys. And the spelling nazis and grammar police can stay away. I have a Lockheed AC-130 spectre gunship, a fleet of A-10 thunderbolts, and an enterpise class carrier full of F-14 tomcats and F/A-18 hornets ready to blow you back to the stone age. I also have a B-52 and an ISD* ready to attack any flamming posts. *ISD = Imperial Star Destroyer

Mistreatment of Rangers and Mages
the gay thing is in fog you dont get your broken arrows back The idea is that you don't need to pick up arrows yourself. So you get what you normally would. It's not fair compared to mages, but thats life. Mages have no way of recovering there runes normally anyways, so this is like a treat to them for that hardship. As for applying this to CW, I would rather see them do this and abolish getting xp there than seeing cw swarmmed by more people looking for free xp. The free xp workes in FOG because teh xp rate is dreadful, but in cw it could be rediculus.

Slayer; what's next?
Oh, I have a resonable idea (sort of): Solve the dragon pickaxe and magic slayer drop at the same time. Make some new monster drop the ehtereal pickaxe. It has the mining speed that a dragon pick would, but if you melee with it, it does magic damage. BUT, since mages don't want to melee and it would be like a giant middel finger to them, it should be useful to mages in other ways. It could add a spell to the lunar book (like the slayer staff does to the normal book), that allows you to mine ores in a 3x3 box (which is not over powered because all the useful ores tend to be spred out, and it charges runes for each ore). Now, to continue with my lunar theme, it will also allow the casting of all elemental spells (but no curse, bind, teleport etc.) while on the lunar book without the need for spell book swap. This would be a huge boon to all the lunar mages, sorry to the ancients but I think there doing pretty good as is, and normal magic really dosen't need anything like this. Besides, lunar already has teh spell book swap so this fits right in. Rather than reqire an att level to weild, it would reqire a magic level (of 60), but you would need a magic level of say 90 to use the elemental casting feature (because I think the swap spell is in the 80's, but if its in the 70's than only 80 to use elemental casting).

ankous ! At my level?
Salve works on ankous. I think my max hit with a whip is still 23, I can hit 25 on ankous with an unenchanted salve ammy (really got to enchant it). The salve ammy also has the same def bonus as a glory.

School and Dodgeball
They woudl have loved last years grade 12 class. The game was 'contact something' it may have even been just 'contact'. I think it was either contact soccer (european football) or contact ultimate frizbee. When I think I am almost certain its the frizbee option. I don't personaly weigh enough to take part in that kind of game, but watching its pretty fun too. Basicly some people just ran around tackling everyone in sight. I loved that class, they were hilarious.

Mage Help
If you a mem then, deffinatly do the circus. I don't know what you will get but I get someplace between 16k to 20k free xp a week (have been since I hit 60 mage). Assuming you can support the cost, you can use teleports whic I think are pretty high xp. If money is an issue, you can try and find good lecturns and make tele tabs (more effective once you can make camalot and house tabs though), which while alot slower should pay for all teh runes and some more to fund more regualr training. But for now, a mud battle staff costs about 165k, buy one if you can, get some bodies, and curse away in the lowest mage accuracyu stuff you can get.

How much exp does a clay pickaxe last for? Same as rune pic?
The clay pick is identical to the rune pick in tearms of speed and stats (observation and identical stats support this). The clay pick reportadly last eather ~7k or ~16k exp (befor bonus exp) or 14k exp or 32k exp. Acording to the debug on release day, the pick grants just over 7k bonus exp (meaning you gain just over 14k exp while using it). As a pick it grants less bonus exp than any other form. The tools all seem to have been designed to last about 20 minutes under the most common leveling practices, which is the time it takes to get one. For things like construction though, this means less money spent on materials, and for other skills, SC is often more interestign than training is.

just started MTK
The runescape wiki has a calulator that is updated quite often. Search google for "runescape wikia miscellania" (without quotes). Or go to http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Calculators/Miscellania (the search is so you can find it again easily). Rigth now the best you can do is 10 on raw fish and 5 on flax. Flax has surpassed cooked fish for second place proffitability. All stats there assume 10 workers on whatever, but what is most proffitable with workers is still going to be more prfitable at 5 (compared to anything else at 5 workers). If you care to spin 1250 flax per day, it actualy might be the most profitable.

Turning Into A Monkey
Rahter than make duplicates (boring), make all 7. There are 2 gorilla, 2 zombie, and 2 nija (plus teh karamjan one). I would suggest going to the runescape wiki for information on each one, as all the nromal fan sites have slightly different and collectively unhelpful information in the area (especialy the nija gree grees).

Construction
THE CHEEPEST WAY is to hunt penguins on world 60 with a clan (preferably having done cold war), getting as many penguin points as you can and turn them in for con xp each week. Points earn 25xlevel, so at 45 con it would be 45*25 per point. Works out to around 16k I think for the max of 15 points per week. An experianced hunter can normally get all the penguins in an hour with a good clan. You probably only need to get to level 48 anyways, you should then be able to use construction tea to get teh last two levels (I dont know the shelf levels so you may need 49 if you can get porcelin cups at level 48). Use an SC hammer to reduce any leveling costs by half, and use oak. Its the best tradeoff of speed to xp IMO, since it gives over half the xp of teak (at half the cost). Continuing that mahogany is just shy of double teak xp...at 3 times the cost of teak. I do not suggest plank and nails assumign you wan't the portals this year. PM me if you are interested in hunting penguins, I can point you in teh rigth direction or help you ingame (possibly).

what does 4x anti aiasing do?
Anti-aliasing makes a huge difference.I normally play on my laptop (I normally use my laptop for everything since its more powerful than mu PC), which is native resolution 1280x800 (wide screen). If you want to see the effect, you can (a) stand 20 feet away from your computer and see how smooth everything looks (because distance causes blending for technical biological reasons that have to do with 1 micrometre minimum distance separtion for visual separation) or (B) squint, which achives much teh same blending effect (but also makes things blury). Or just turn anti-aliasing on. My laptop does a usual laptop trick of using lower memory devices (such as graphics cards) and giving them system recorces to compensate (ie my RAM), right now my graphics card has 880 MB of memory, and I know for a fact that the card has less than 350 MB built in (the laptop is designed to play and steam 1080p movies onto its screen or 60-70 inch HD TV's, so loads of memory is good for buffering). Long story short, RuneScape looks hideous on my laptop without anti-aliasing (AA). 2x is like a slap in teh face because its slows the comp down but dosen't improve it a whole lot (it fixes certain problems that don't normally come up in runescape and makes things a bit smoother), so I use 4x. I only turn the AA off when I dual screen (my PC monitor is ?x1200 I think) because I get 10-15 frames/sec if I leave it on. Anti-aliasign primarily adds transition pixels. It is no more noticable on lower resolutions than higher for the purposes of runescape because the pixel sizes are the same for all resolution settings. This means higher resolutions just see more area. Now, if you have high resolution on a small screen (generaly by going higher than native resolution if possible), anti-alising makes less difference for reasons I don't care to explain. Higher resolutions will cause anti-alising to have a higher impact on performance because the GPU has to work harder. Of all the graphics options, I belive anti-aliasing is teh most demanding on average, though water might be worse if you standing right next to compious amounts of it.

Uri Emotes
I hate uri. I gotr tired of buying/selling the reqired items, so I have permanatly lost many bank spaces to such wonderful items as an iron plate body, blue vambs (when I use a [bleep]ed pair), and various other items such as a couple battle staffs (I don't melee in mage with a staff, I am not suicidal). Its the tediousness, and the lost bankspace. I don't bother with clues much after the addition of uri, it just annoys me to much.

The price of gold ore!
It's P2P smithign gauntlets that are carrying the entire gold ore price. And unlike coal, you can actualy make a proffit doing it (at least is your not buying your gems or cosmics \ ), which makes it oh so superior to steel in that regard (of course steel is faster). Gold may be as rare as good conversation for F2P, but it's also next to useless. You gaing no benifit from rings or necklaces, and that pretty much leaves ammulets. Crafting ammulets (except maybe power) is harder to do for the F2P because members have easier access to free gems (via shilo and charged glorys), and free cosmics (fallen stars reward). Members also have teh ring of recoil which commands a superior price considering the low levels needed in its production. In short, a gold ore price from F2P alone would be supply heavy and thus demand far lower prices. Members are almost the entire consumer for gold bars and more importantly ores. It might be scarce on F2P but we have plenty past the gate (I belive the arzanian mine has 128 gold ore spots).

I HATE CONTRUCTION
Constuction is not about making money (its a fraking money sink designed to remove gold from teh economy to reduce inflation). Whats the point? When you build an awsome house, and finaly spend big money put the best stuff in it (eventualy gilded, marble, and magic stone), and fill your gardens up, and put up all the decorations, you can just stand there and think to yourself "wow, this is pretty freaking sweet, I should throw a party so everyone can see how freaking awsome my house is". I actualy see so much wasted construction levels in some of the high level houses. I see layouts that make my mediocre design look like god designed it itself, or so baren of any kind of decoration, even ones where teh person never bothered to rotate the rooms. People build multi-million gp houses because at the end of the day, a great big 99 mansion is just totaly awsome. I belive that construction can be one of the most gratifying yet frustrating skills. Leveling is a love-hate scenario, my solution? Penguin points all the way (for now).

Mage Help
If your f2p, I would suggest doing the cursing or crumble undead, or simply using something like fire bolt. If your a member, then I would suggest (a) going to the circus and getting some xp out of that and (b)get a mud staff and use curse, weaken, etc using only body runes , assuming of course that a mudstaff is not really expensive, I know some combo staffs are but I think mud is teh cheep one (maybe thats lava thats cheep, I dunno).

Where to train agility..
Off the top of my head I would say at least 40 before you try it. Feel free to go and see if you can do it without failing alot. The xp there is nothing to write home about, I am faily sure brimhaven is better. If you go to brimhaven, I woudl suggest taking an agility pot or 2 because the darts decrese agility and they often block the best route.

Moral Dilemma
Logicaly you would switch the train and smother the baby in both cases. However, since we would have to be in the situation to know what we would do, whats the point in answering. This thred is full of gueses and justification, but in these situations you can't think. In the first situation, pulling the lever means you have killed someone plain and simple. Had you done nothing that person would have lived, their death is directly YOUR FAULT. However should you do nothing, its more a grey area. Does doing nothing make you guilty? I don't know what I would do, and I don't wan't to find out. Can I do nothing and let 3 people die, or can I kill someone to save 3 people? Now, can you kill someone to save yourself? Well probably not, but saving many other people changes things. I this situation I can guess that yes, I can smother the baby, is it right? don't know. This is moraly a bit easier since your all going to die, baby included if you do nothing, but still, this actively reqires commiting murder, and on a baby. Now if it was my own child, that changes things, which from a practical point it shouldn't but I would have to be without morals to see that way. I guess if I could smother anothers persons baby it is only fair I would do the same to my own in otherwise identical circumstances. But would I...again I should hope I never know. Oh, about the train stopping...a train is very heavy, were talking hundreds of tons. There is no way it is going to stop in the time it takes to run 100 metres. A freight train takes miles to stop, and they don't even go fast in North America. A passenger train can't stop much faster, it will still take miles. Now in a shunting yard situation, a train might stop in time, but no garuntee.

School and Dodgeball
I seriously have to wonder if the people who think up these things were actualy young once. They either all forgot their life prior to high school graduation, or were born old. I have heard of tag being banned too in some places. Normally things are banned for not being safe (which shoudl really include all possible activiteis that take place in gym), but dodge ball promots violence? Bull. The object of dodge ball is not to hurt people, just get them out. Generaly there are rules for at least no head shots, often only a hit to the legs counts (or legs and stomach). Watching foot ball on TV is going to promote more violence. Dodge ball tends to be a very popular game, famous for being fun. Promotes violence...wow...maybe people get stupid when they hit 30-40 or something....just... :(

Reveal Confessions, Secrets & Regrets...
pics or no proof http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nice_Guys_Finish_Last http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yeah,_right Also for the puppy lovers :boohoo: :boohoo: :boohoo: :boohoo: :boohoo: :boohoo: :boohoo: not shopped at all [/hide] I think you should've put that in hide tags. It's really messed up. I don't have any confessions otehr than just looking in those tags :ohnoes: Lets just say I highly recomend not looking, that is just freaking creepy. If you have to look, don't do it right before bed, do it in teh morning (garunteed to wake you up).

Simple question about MTK.
The x*0.01 is percent drop. 0.01 = 1% 50000 is the money that goes to the 10 fishing workers 25000 is the money going to the 5 flax workers 1131.2 is the money the kingdom spends to get 10 tuna and 3 swordfish (they are cought in that ratio accordint to tip.it) 40 is the cost teh kingdom pays per flax If you want to know when it breaks even I suggest writing it out on paper and solving for y=0 (or use a graphing claulator/program). If your good with Excel (or another spreadsheet program like openoffice calc) you could put the equation into it so that you enter the number of days and it calculates for you. If you work at it, it can be made to accout total proffit from day zero to whatever day you put in. I might figure out how to do it later, I don't have time at the moment. hope this helps.

Simple question about MTK.
You can calculate it, but without doing that I can guess what to do. Fiugure out at what popularity level the kindom ceses to be proffitable (proffits even only by 1 gp). Idealy it does no worse than break even at the minimum 20% (or 40%?). The idea is, have you kingdom run out of money (or close to it) around the time it starts opperating at loss. That way the accumulated proffit shoudl stull be proffit when you return. You could also just take the money and run, and invest it to make more money. Off the top of my head here are the basics for a proffitablility equation. Note that you can find kingdom item prices in the tip.it guide. I allso am goign to assume that you have 75k being spent each day. Let y=proffit Let x=days (days since you last tended to kingdom) basic equation is y= proffit from sold produce - cost of materials gathered proffit: (3*cost of swordfish)*[((1-(x*0.01))*50000)/1131.2] + (10*cost of tuna)*[((1-(x*0.01))*50000)/1131.2] + (cost fo flax)*[((1-(x*0.01))*25000)/40] be carfull with order of opperations, keep the brackets where they should be, the cost of materials multiply the other stuff after the division cost: 75000 per day so for any given day: y = {(3*cost of swordfish)*[((1-(x*0.01))*50000)/1131.2] + (10*cost of tuna)*[((1-(x*0.01))*50000)/1131.2] + (cost fo flax)*[((1-(x*0.01))*25000)/40]} - 75000 not easy to understand when written like that, but I doubt many if any people here can understand equation in (reverse)polar notation, a shame since it eliminates the need to brackets. Unfortunatly I am too rusty at it to even write somethign this complex, I think it woudl require storing a few things. To help you do this right, I will do a few samples so you can check to see if you use the equation correctly. Assume tuna is 100gp ea, swordfish are 400ea and flax is 80ea. Also note you need a calculator that can do this all at once, or a pen and paper since this can't be done without using memory on a normal calculator (easily). On the first day (x=0) y=71800 (I rounded 50000/1131.2 to 44) On day 11(x=10) y=57560 (I rounded 45000/1131.2 to 39.8)

Should the logout timer be removed?
The logout timer was never ment to stop a macro. Correct me if I am wrong, but it has existed since the first day of RSC, and I don't think even the mighty randoms have existed that long (unless Andrew saw macros beign a problem before the game was relesed). Macros could easily be programed to move the screen up and down, or click on different skill menues to stay active while fishing and woodcutting. No, there are plenty of fetures in the game designed to stop macros and this is not one of them. The autologout is to combat AFK training. By reqireing input, it makes it more difficlut to train without being at you computer and paying at least some attention. As a point of interest you actualy can log out in combat. On several occasions I have accidently closed my browser page with a backspace (pre HD) or closed a tab to find the whole browser go down, or lost connection through no fault of my own. I have come to learn that shoud I live in combat for a minute without any input, after being disconected, I will log out (it migth happen even faster). I don't think I have died more than once from a disconect, and this is why, because I keep my health high (for this reason) so that even if I die as soon as I log in, I will actualy have a grave too.
