I have been able to whip monsters across rooms before, dishing out severaly hits and even ko's without moving. It just happens, and when some(one/thing) does this to you, you can do it in return (either you will attack and move at the same time, you will have a long range melee battle). The whip can do it, the dragon scimmy can do it, the dragon long sword can do it and your fists can do it. It just happens, get over it. Its not a glitch or a cheat, it a phenomenon that is graphical in nature. It basicly ammounts to your computer not getting the signal that someone moved, or the server forgetting to move you (since teh remains sometimes spawn at range, but sometimes not).

Come back when you figure out what the other half of the weapons are. The longsword is noticably slower than the scimmy, enough to be painful if you are used to scimitar speed I find. On teh other side you have the scimmy which is painfuly inacurate to the point of being a joke to someone who is used to a whip. I find the longsword is much closer to matching the whip in hits (just a little lower) than a scimitar. Also, for dragon weapons the longsword actualy has a pvm spec, that hits...damage. The longswords cleave is like a mini AGS spec, and I think there might be an accuracy bonus in there too. The scimitar's sever on the other hand, though supposed to have an accuracy bonus, actualy seems to have a 50/50 hit chance and almost always does several points under your max hit. The only surfire way to pull off a dragon scim spec is to complain to a room of at least 5 other players for 2 minutes about how [cabbage]ty the scim spec is, then do a spec where the scimitar does some amazing hit just to spite you. If you wan't to repeat the results you either have to continue saying increasingly stupid things about your weapon or find another crowd. I swear, honestly, I only ever get a good spec out of my scim if I complain about it first. Still, somehow, and I don't know how or why, the scimitar definatly has a higher damage output per unit of time than a dragon longsword in most cases. Normally by the time an opponents defence hinders teh scimitar the longsword is not having much better luck, it just tends to hit higher. The shortsword actualy has a use almost everyone misses. Its actualy a giant dagger, not a sword. It is primarily a stab weapon. Not very useful in pvp (except against dragon hide and mage armour of course) because of max dammage issues, but effective versus monsters particularly weak to stab attacks (kalphites come to mind). I think it has a more accurate stab than any other weapon except maybe a spear.

There are things you missed. First off a protection prayer does not offer 100% protection, it offers the same 50% that is does versus a human in pvp, the same as it did against the original pkers. The thing is, since they are equaly competant in all attack styles, they simply won't attack with whatever style you protect against (after they react to your protect prayer which take a combat round or two). The mage protect does not offer immunity (possibly not even resistance) to being TB'ed by magic, frozen by range (I would like to see a ranger do that), or being poisned by melee (which oddly enough the protect prayer can't do even versus a normal npc out of the wild). You also missed that revenants do eat, and it can be quite alot. Enough to make you use more food than you might wan't to, or use up enough inventory that you green dragon trip becomes pretty low yeild on a per trip (not time) basis unless you get attacked by a rev. Last thing to point out is that they are not at risk from npc's. Pk'ers did not camp for people in the residance of the chaos elemental (I swear I found a couple knights having tea with that thing once). Still after all that, singly they are not a thret or anyone with a combat level near or above 100 (for people with summoning it really depends on if your in multiway and how powerful your summons is in combat). But there seems to be a point of a very few levels where revs go from being managable to devastating where people wont kill one unless they have a full inventory of sharks. The revs deffinatly aren't totaly effective. Going into the wild used to be suicide for a level 100, because you were going to run into a pking party sooner or later. Now, knowledgeable people can avoid patrol routes, and areas where revs gather, but if they were to be able to deal with people with 130 combat being backed up by a lava titan, then sure, the realism would be there, but no one under lvl 110 in a group of 5 would be able to get past the 10th level of the wild without dieing.

I don't have teh pics, but the arzanian mine (the one with 128 gold rocks) is very close to where Jagex put the areas for the morton minigame where you guide people to and from paterdomus and some town in the swamp (having some trouble with names tonight). I should mention that whether Java supposts a 3d array is completly beside the point. We KNOW the RuneScape map is 2D for all elevations end of story. Within this massive 2D plane are I belive 3 levels. 0 is used for things like a river bed (it used to be ground level but they changed it with HD), 1 is ground level, and 2 is anything that extends beyons the first floor (I am using american floor standards here). So the ground, walls up to the first floor are all level 1. This means that when you are on a floor other than ground, you are NOT in another level. If you are on the second story of a building, all the streets and scenery below you are on the 0 level rather than the 1 where they usualy are.

7 clue scrolls? My results are nothing to write home about or screenie. I withdraw every 4 days usualy, sometimes every six. I keep the coffers at 1.2m. I think on a 4 day run I make about 200k, but I dont actualy track the numbers. It also depends on how many key halfs I get (and which half) and how many magic seeds (if I do maple). I think my record was 700k-750k for I think 5 days (375k) so 325k-375k proffit. That was 2 tooth halfs, a magic seed, and a loop half.

If I think a person could benifit from mhelp I will add them. There are a ton of people on my list, most of whom I helped with a quest at one time or another (mostly from f2p when I was mid 60's in combat). I usualy delete people when we havent talked in a while and they start logging on and off (I hate being spammed with those logged in messages). I have one good friend who I met through the game itself, no real life and no forums. Just one friend like that. I met him way back in f2p training on zombies in the dungeon bellow draynor. It took a couple hours of talking before we became friends. It is worth noting that at this time I was frustrated by the fact it took 15 minutes to get a level. I envy those days. This is the only 'scaper on my list whom I actualy know why they are there. The rest of the people on my list whom I talk to are current and former members of WOMDA and staff of the GT. I also talk to the current/former leader of H1P (not honest, the one after him). I think this just shows that even if you add everyone who asks, it becomes meaningless very fast. If I add someone to help them, I have forgoten who they are within a week or two and them likewise. A few cc checks have evealed I am not the only one who is lazy about clearing their friends list. I think people just like to be able to look at their friends list and go wow, thats alot of people. I can fit all the people I actualy talk to regularly on one page. There are 2 or 3 other less regular people (including a former good rl friend) there as well. I have probably around 150 people on my list. Oddly enough, though I have forgoten the specifics, I know exactly how most of them got added (in generals like helped with quest, or randomly messaged me from another world).

i did't say something that powerful but something that can hit 60 in the same dds does(talking about specials) and have a max hit on about 40-45 ;) Max hit is ammunition, you need god arrows. I think were getting bigfoot in the next quest. I am not sure why there is a horn in the pic, and with teh two people that would suggest minigame. Maybe Barbarian Assult is going to be frozen over winter with various snow cretures rather than whatever it has right now? For the winter quest, my hopes aren't high it being f2p and all. I like having puzzles though so maybe we'll get that, even if it adds nothing to the RuneScape story.

Runescape is probably about twice the area coed by the world map. Every entrance, ladder, etc that loads a new level, is a teleport to another area of the map. I once tried to figure out where zanaris is by useing the enchanted gem to talk to her while using the fairy rings to move around the world. By noting which way my charecter turned, I could get an estimation. I don't rember the result, and the precision of this method is seriously lacking, but zanaris is somewhere above miscellania I think. Actualy, most things seem to be above the wild, probably because they know they will not expand teh map in that direction. There are several dungeons that you can see other dungeons from, so I figure there all in the same area. To answer the question, yes, runescape is one single plane. Think about this. When you go up above ground level in say a city, there has to be an entire city someplace for EACH level for you to view. When you are on these floors, the fake city is simply moved below ground level. Ever wonder why you cant see people on ground level from a second or third (or fourth) floor? Thats why.

one of the boot rewards lets you get approval faster, and I am fearing that is our 'increased yeild'. This is inspite of the fact that you can pop onto the island via fairy rings, mine a coal and be on your merry way if you do it daily. I was personaly hopeing for something like more workers to actualy increase the yeild. Maybe its a hidden thing and doing the diary allows you kingdom to produce recorces at discount or something (bit not likely).

The tipit quest calc can be set to show all the rewards from quests on one page, so try that to see what quests to do rather than going through tth elist the slow conventional way. All quests rock (with a few notable exceptions like haunted mine, underground pass, desert tresure and contact).

After many (5 or 6) years of being asked "how do I get to____?", "where am I?" and "Can you take me to____?", I feel like writing a response that would look like this: "**** you, you stupid ******* moron" "Use the ******* world map and answer your own **** ******* question" Note that I don't remember os stupid and moron are starred, though I suspect moron is. I would probably just use the second line, and so far have limited myself to "use the wold map", but someday... Have I mentioned I have never had a balck mark 8-)

Evething about the elite black knight sword (ES) is a little off when compared to the saradomion sword (SS). The hilt, the smooth blade, and blade colour (can't tell). The SS is an Icyene blade (made by them). Supposedly the Vampire lord draken enslaved the now extinct Icyene and corrupted them forming the now dreaded Vyrewatch. I wonder if the vyrewatch rember somthing of their former existance and skill, and possibly created new swords for draken to give/sell to the elite black knights. The SS is an Icyene blade, so I think the ES, a corrupt SS, was made by corrupt Icyene, which would make the ES a Vyrewatch blade. Wonder what the spec on that baby is =P~ (probably some sort of life steal).

It does not interfere with teh game, gove any advantages that would not normally be possible (like when you could load worlds that were full without refreshing even though you could do it manualy with a few tweaks to your browser settings), and it dosen't make constant requests of the RS site (like the old sigs that spammed the highscores continualy). I won't use it (well, probably won't), but then I dont use anything like that. I am waiting for someone to make something that will allow me to hover my mouse over something, hit a hotkey, and have a page with information load. If I need to view 2 windows (maybe a guide during ME2, or a map), then I wither dula screen or use a printer, or suck it up and use tabs. Idealy I would want to be able to click people in game and look up their highscores (as opposed to a hot key), but that woudl reqire running a corrupted client (since that sort of feture would have to add code into the client program), and even if the servers allowed it, and Vista let a java program open webpages (not likely), there would still be a bunch of legal implictions since there would definatly be some reverse engineering in there. Maybe Jagex will add that particular feture someday. Anyways, good luck. Many people have already said it does not break the rules and their right. When its done I'll think about using it.

Den I think you give the average scaper to much credit. Sure they should know Dragon coul dnever reach barrows like stats, but many scapers still have the mentality that everything new must be the best (new armour gets compared to barrows, new weapons to the whip). But it is also easy enough to get I guess, and from the GE picture I know understand why in the last day 6 seperate people have asked me if I have a dragon plate on. It is almost identical to a d chain. It should have arm plates, but I am guessing that it does not. I will svae my money so that one day I get a DFH, I am not going to waste it one an expensive ugly version of my d chain.

First I am a Canadian, and I did vote in the last Federal Election. Right now, I think Harper is acting like an [wagon]. Because the Liberal Party has ousted their leader, he is treating his position like majority. The Coalition would be led by the Leader of the Liberal Party, a man who his party has said (by having him resign as party leader effective sometime next year) is not fit to be prime minister. Deputy Primeminister would be Layton, of the NDP (socalist party). With them comes Bob Ray, and Ontario is still recovering from when the NDP got in provincialy with Ray as finance minister. Layton is a person you couldn't trust to manage a lemonade stand. Then the Block, the Quebec sepratist party. Lets have a coalition with a party that was created to break Canada into pieces. Also, the bloc has no candidates outside of Quebec, so they are not representative of the countrys interest, on Quebecs. None of the partys are fit to lead right now. Harper needs to go, but the replacements are worse. I also view a coalition designed to overthrow the ruleing party as a cou. There are circumstances that might warrent such action, I don't think we are there yet. I voted the way I did so that none of the partys forming a coalition would get in (ie voted PC). I also worry about the reaction in the West. Alberta in particular would be to the point of leaving the country, and are in the best position to leave financialy. If the coalition come to be, no Liberal is going to be voted fo in Alberta for the next centry (or so I would expect). I think this is a powergrab by the NDP and bloc. The NDP will (hopefully) never be in power, so this is as close as they can come, and the Bloc will also never be in power due to not running candidates outside of Quebec. I would not have voted for this, the only coalition I would ever presently consider supporting woudl be one between the PC and Liberal partys.

I have literally killed thousands of ankous (I started trainign on them when my str, def, att, and hit were at 73 +/-1. All the stats are now 78 +/- 1, and thats near exclusively ankous. Thats alot of ankous. I have had 5 clues from them (and I do them pretty fast). I did once get two in a day, one of which was the only decent L3 clue I have ever gotten :wall: .

I belive that the filter is to strict for a 13+ game, but then no one on tif should be nieve enough to belive that RuneScape is only aimed at 13+. We all know they target younger children as well, and honestly, I play a game with teenagers that has NO chat filter, and belive you me it does not improve the game in any way shape or form. I don't think any of there rules are there without reason and none of them should be removed.

The hilt is wrong. Its not actualy a symbol of saradomin, it just look ssimilar. Saras hilt looks like -|- (sort of). This one looks like \|/ (and I am only shoeing the top, and the hilts not quite that slanted but its pretty good).

When Jagex made the GE they said price manipulation was against the rules. They also said that the only time they would directly interfere with prices was (a) to fix borken ones or (B) to fix price manipulation.

They are a quest item. Each player needs them, and they can only be obtained once (the armour is nneded twice and obtained twice). If you frop them, then you can never get another pair. Jagex did this on purpose.

I agree with this. The 'vials' are deffinatly the shape of an erlenmeyer flask. They should really be called potion flasks.

ink it will involve Guthix again. Guthix is an embodyment of neccesity, unlike teh other gods his number of followers has no impact on his strenth. Guthix is as powerful as it needs to be, and if Guthix is destroyed, then Guthix is made again. Guthix exists because it needs to, and it has as power as is needed. I think I got that info from the god letters, but honestly I don't remember. Anyways, I think there might be a cutscene where Guthix and lucien go at it (GOD FIGHT WOO HOO). Ialso have a theory on the stone of Jas. I fighure that since its so powerful, it was created by some higher power. Whats higher than the gods? The elder gods of course. Maybe Jas will come back fo rhis stone and blast lucien into oblivion. Of course the gods might gang up on lucien too. Maybe Zammorak will smote Lucien for following in his footsteps, maybe Zaros will come back and be angry and powerful (since other than Guthix (possibly), Zaros was/is the most powerful entity). And of couse, we might just find another god item. Maybe we find the god armour of Zaros or Guthix and kick some mahjarat [wagon].

It was intentional and not a bug. You will have to buy the armour and then hope to sell it again and regain most of the money.
