Its REDUNDANT but ..imma post
Nope, that would be impossible baring some random bug in the game that has yet to occur. It's like a windmil where only you can get the flour you make. Only you can take the bars you make. Rather than sell noted ore to him, I think you use it on him (or talk to him) and he will unote ore at pre GE prices which are MUCH cheeper than the current price would be to sell and buy back. Don't forget to bring alching runes, running to the bank would make this a cheep method thats slower than the second coming of christ. Also don't forget to help out everyonce in a while.

Hunting Chins
Assuming 4 traps, and ignoring where the respans are the patern you want is: XXOX OXXX XXXO XOXX O = trap Note that the spacing is probably bad, but the pattern provides maximum coverage by preventign the strongest areas of attraction of each trap from overlaping as much. Its basicly a dimond but the top is moved one space left/right and one side is moved one space up/down so that no 2 boxes are in line with each other on a hoizontal/vertical line. If you know where the respans are, try to get a couple traps within 2 spaces (verticle/horizontal is best but diagnal works). With 4 traps you still wan't at least 3 spawns, so at least one trap needs to cover 2 spawn points, or you need one trap assigned to each spawn. Note that it takes at least 20-30 seconds for a trap to become active, and sometimes a trap will never activate. If you notice one trap has not attracted anythign for an abnormaly long time, just reset it. Thats alot of what I remember from when I used to train hunter.

Feb 9 2009: The Future of Runescape
Finaly. We get a CEO who actualy plays the game again. He's pretty young, so I expect he is alot less concerned with money than alot of other people might be. Younger people tend to eb more flexible and inovative because they have fewer formed concepts about how things work (easier to take a different perspective I guess). No offence to any older players intended (I am not trying to insult people), but its the truth as I know it.

dealings with the mccaw
You are better off just killing something with a high herb drop rate. Macaws do not increse herb drop rates, but they act like a specalised ultra powered ring of wealth towards any herbs dropped (almost all herb drops will be better). In a dungeon, I don't think you can even get herbs by scroll (unless your macaw can fly through solid rock). When killing things, it will ocasionaly forage herbs anyways, just not alot and not many good herbs.

Fishing trawler #&(%$!$*%
So you complaining about your [cabbage]ty internet and you expect Jagex to make games more frequent to compensate? I think you already stated that once you were on board the trawler, you still lagged out. You need shorter trip duration, not more frequent trips.
-
Do you look players up on the highscores?
Only if I already have the scores open. I sometimes look up people on my friends list. Other than that, there have been a few occasions (mostly while fishing) where people have bragged about levels and I have 'shot them down'.

Monkey Madness!!
I ranged him, and my range level was no more than 52 (probably less than 50). You woudl have no trouble ranging him at all.

Best way of training prayer on a low budget
I am going to say if your going to buy bones, the ecto can be the best for large ammounts of training because eventualy the savings do add up. The ecto functus becomes much better than before if you have 58 agility because the shortcut cuts at least 80% off your travel time down to the slime from the trapdoor. With a ring of dueling or games necklace for banking, the ectofunctus can be quite fast. Still not nearly as fast as a guilded alter, but the option is still valid.

Potions in F2P....what the hell....
This would be code designed to stop potting on mems worlds to gain advantage pk'ing in f2p wild (actualy I am almost certain about that being teh origin of this particular part of the game) way back when. Jagex almost certainly could have allowed a stregnth bonus to carry over, even under the original RS2 game engine (because the game exists as 2 versions [well now 4 because of pvp worlds), they somply could have set the f2p verson to limit stats boosts to what is possible on f2p), they probably did this for simplicity and to prevent any bugs. The fact that a f2p world still wipes all stat boosts (except the one to prayer gained from the monestary I think) upon log in still has purpose. This prevents members from switing worlds to get even a measly strenghth bonus through other means with ease, or certain other permisable stats bonus via such thigns as summoning (surely at least one familiar gives a visible boost to mining, which nagates a need for swarven stout. While I agree this is still pointless, that might be the rationel.

Is there anything that can't kill you?-No supercannons!
Not true. While oxygen gives us life, it ultimatly is at least partly resposible for our aging proccess becuase it does damage to our cells (starting around 10 years old I think). As we get older, our body losses the ability to prevent and later resist the damage oxygen does. Ultimatly, if you were to breathe pure oxygen for your entirelife, it could actualy be your cause of death. The same is true for the oxygen in air. I figure there are otehr factors to aging though, so AIR might not be able to normally, even with oxygen ultimatly doing us harm, but if you lower the pressure of the air enough, you will effectively sufficate even while breathing.

New Hitpoints Bar in the making? (with picture evidence)
Looks like they game it a texture. The current one looks like it was done in paint (it's literaly 2 colours). This would help it blend into the game. I don't tend to notice to much, but the current one kinda stands out being the only 2D object in the '3D' game window.

Runescape HD
Update the graphics card. Start the game in low detail safe mode) and increase the setting one by one until you find out what dosen't work. The runscape site has an HD guide that lists what settings stress your computer the most (mainly anti-aliasing and water detail when near water). Other than that you need to post your computer specs. Also, you might get more help in the tech forum on this site or the RSOF.

Im an idoit
This is about the only situation autoing would ever be a good idea, but I dubt you have a program (why would you), and I never used one so I can't point you in the direction, but I'll tell you where im going with this since there are other ways. He can't get on as long as you are logged in. Becuase of the time a recovery can take to go through, you may need to be online for a day or more. If you have one of those bobber things (bird that drinks water or something), any anything at all that can generate a key press (a program or physical device) to keep you logged in. You need to stay with your account until you get a random even that takes you someplace (molly, grave digger, maze, pinbal, scaperune prison) because you cant get a random during a random. If push comes to shove put a weight on an arrow key and watch for 6 minutes to see if you log out. A continued press might be enough to stay logged in. Since you think you no longer know your password this is a last resort action. I belive jagex would take messures against such a simple work around but maybe not. EDIT: I see youtr problem is now solved. I'll leave that there incase anyone is interested. And please do note I am not actualy suggesting anyone auto in any circumstances, it's a mere observation that it might have been useful.

Jagex inbox not working? (resolved)
I hate that. I usualy wait a few hours and sometimes try a different internet conection. If push comes to shove and you have a blackberry, use that. It definatly counts as a different internet connection and there is a link about 'if all you see is a blank or gray box click here'. Click that and a blackberry can log in. They might even be able to post on teh RSOF since all fetures excluding teh game can be accessed without java (thats what the alternate login is, java free). On second thought, any cell phone can technicaly do it but for the love of god make sure its in your plan (ever wonder how people get multithousand dolar cell phone bills? Exceedign bandwidth).

Pmod Issue
I am currently in the invitation process, and I can tell you they check out the status of your account about once every 7 days maybe, and I think thats just a computer. I got my confirmation letter literaly 2 hours before the code enterign deadline. I had told them to send the second letter on the 24th, they confirmed that on the 28th. That really sucks. I suggest contacting an actual pmod (if you have any friends that are mods). From what I hear, the least a pmod would be able to do is metion you are interested and have to re-entered into the pmod condidate pool. That you were selected without being a mem is pretty amazing, apparently about the only way to actualy be noticed is by posting on the RSOF (I got invited the month after I started posting in the D&D section alot with helpful information and I have player for over 5 years).

Penguin bannings resolution
Well duh it's tempting. I was looking at what might have been as much as 92 construction looking me in the face, or 85 in several skills. My solution? Log out and go play Baldur's Gate II:SoA. Problem solved. Glad to see some banning.

Has anybody noticed
Jagex stopped listning to players in general, bot p2p and f2p, when they realised we were collectively sending in hundreds of questions and suggestion etc. that for teh most part were completly stupid or intentinaly designed to waste peoples time. They don't appear to listen to p2p much either. Occasionaly a jmod shows their head, but that is rare. I belive Jagex distanced themselves from their players in response to the average maturity players show when dealing with Jagex. This is why such things as the clan leaders forum, the all 99 forum, and the pmod forums (which ARE availible to a few f2p'ers, or so i'm told) all exist. They are groups of players more likely to be mature. As for reporting sites, just send in bug reports. If Jagex thinks you should stop doing that, they will tell you and you can tell us.

Mass banning for penguins?
I wasn't waiting for it because as I've been trying to explain, there's no reason we should care. And the fact that they publicly announced all that tells me they want to be seen as the 'heroes' moreso than as people who are doing what they are suppose to do. Meh, but I guess why shouldn't they...most of rs falls for it anyways. Sometimes I seriously wonder if you guys applaud the person selling you a candy bar at a convenience store. Then again that'd be pretty funny tbh Well I don't personaly care (aside form some feelings of huge injustice in general during the bug), many players DO care for good reason. Jagex already said it, there are players who play purely to get a high score, and having players gain massive ammounts of xp in skills like construction, summoning, herblore, prayer, etc. is just a great big [bleep] you sign. This is the real life eqivalent of performance enhancing drugs in pro sports. Not everyone who plays baseball is competative so alot are not personaly affected by steriod use. But the ones in teh pro legue who do it for a living damn well better care if someone else is dopping becuase it affects THEM personaly too. If your competing for a high score spot, and you lose a bunch of ranks as a result of this, you have been affected, and so it is definatly resonable that you should care about the issue.

Iddison resigns as Jagex CEO, replaced by Mark Gerhard
I figure that Jagex wan't to do dome different things this year, and bringing in a different CEO with different expertise is their way of making that happen. Jagex may or may not have liked what idisson did, but it is clear they wan't something different. The guy didn't just wake up and decide to resign (well maybe he did, but not likely).

The Balance Elemental
I don't know about where the balence elemental comes from, but when is just as interesting. I like the idea of the balence elemental talking about the past, it's definatly what he seems to be doing. I figure, if he's talking about a past that has not happened, that means he's from the future or we have one heck of a time issue. I think is that something wen't horribly wrong with either on Gielinor iteself, or on the previous place the Stone of Jas was left. Since the second has all kinds of issues (mahjarrat are long lived, but there not immortal and lucien would be dead several times over), I will go for the first. Anyways, something wen't wrong and someone got the stone of Jas that shouldn't have (perhaps even our own charecter got it first). This error led to another God wars, Guthix woke up and there was either a huge God battle and Gielinor was destroyed, or Guthix woke up and just anhialated everything. Since our charecter was around to die, there was probably some Divine [wagon] kicking going on. Guthix woudl have had to destroy the world, so it might have sen't the chaos elemental back in time to delay our charecter or whatever to fix the problem (this suggests lucien was supposed to get Jas). The bit about the rightful plane neat. We already know several inhabitants of Gielinor are not native (the white knights are from our dimension, Earth). Since we must have known the balence elemental, that means our chaecter is also not native to Gielinor explaining some memory issues and lack of family (except for the crest in the con skill). The alternative is teh balence elemental was brought to Gielinor after the events of WGS and our charecter and the elemental became friends (though I still doubt our charecter is native to Gielinor).

02-February-2009 Behind The Scenes - February
:P Thanks for Finding that. Thats just totaly awsome  Though I wouldn't have complained if the rewards from all events were on par with teh maze, but that woudl probably change the prices of a few things and the proffit would go down. I won't get them so much, but they'll be all the more exciting when I do get one

Z.M.I Altar Runecrafting?
At certain levels you will craft a higher percentage of profitable runes. Generaly the higher your RC the higher your profit. But all in all, the orania is for speed, not money. If it were good for speed and money, everyone would do it.

Haunted mine
A tele block might do it, but I suspect you don't wan't to get 85 mage just now. I would suggest ranging it. Range protect hmm. Pray aginst whatever the boss attacks with, no prtect prayer has any effect on all the other things beting you over the head or flying at you, not even prtect from range. Still, there is one prayer you need because of the boss, and that might have been range. It's been a while. Anyways, you can melee it when its safe, but range is probably the way to go (or magic) because you can avoid certain traps. There are also certain times when its best not to attack to avoid certain traps (like teh crane) ebcause teh damage you do won't compensate for the hp loss you suffer.

02-February-2009 Behind The Scenes - February
Hmmm, I guess the random thing will be good. I'm going to miss getting all my maze events (I get one about 1 in 3 when doing combat. Oh well, there either going to destroy the maze rewards (or the event itself) or bring all the other events up to par (130k-200k for every random? \ ) anyways. And maybe now I can get shade robes again for my house (I had to lose them back in f2p, and now they can't be traded, and I haven't had a shade in oh...2.5 years). Maybe just mayby they will abolish molly, the most hated random for the annoyance combined with 100% pure [cabbage]ty reward. The new D&D sounds...interesting. I smell some new clans being formed. And I love free xp, but by the time im done getting all my D&S bonus, ToG, and MTK, I don't have any time left to play the game. And how many tactical minigames do we need? 1 per month until that big one finaly comes? Is the game so bad we need upwards of 20 minigames, 4 D&D's, and a few other free exp/money mechanisms just to keep us playing. I honestly feel like RuneScape has been invaded by Funorb, by means of turning RuneScape into a hub for mingames until RuneScape is the minigame and the minigames are the whole point (ok thats a bit much, but I think you get my point). Whatever, looks cool anyways
