  1. I'm glad there advancing the HAM storyline since it ties in directly with the Gods and Guthix in particular. Maby once we figure Guthix out they will advance the Zamorack story line via mournings end part 3. I really wish we could get the 3rd elemental workshop though. We know there has to be one because of the body door. Would it be that much trouble to let us know what its for? Havent done MEP2 though, so I dont care about the lack of MEP3...yet.
  2. All the items can tbe good. The origanal ideas then to be the best.
  3. You should have known that there not a garuntee. If someone can hit more than 10% of your hitpoints than they can kill you without activating it. I cheacked, your hitpoint level can't be more than 63 because you arent on the highscores. And 10% 63 63 is 6.3. So basicly if your hit 7 at 7 hp you will die. Or less if your levels lower. It's a nice thing to have, it realy can help, but dont rely on it. Just have it there incase all your efforts to stay alive fail. It is a last resort only.
  4. Thats not very clear. And that mine is nowhere near a bank. Are you saying that for a fee he will bank any ores you mine for you? or is the disscount an entrance fee? Please clarify.
  5. Hes right. It's 1.33 or 4/3 per damage you do in any style. Thsi makes sense anyway seeing as you can easily tell you get 4xp to att/str/def for accurate/agresive/defensive respectivly. And we know that controlled is even to all skills while still giving the same total xp per damage. So that means 1/3 of the 4xp that would normally go to a single skill now goes to 3 skills (1/3 of the 4xp for each of the 3 skills). This would be 4/3 or 1 1/3 or 1.33 And the total xp per damage is 4 x 4/3 = 16/3 or 5.33
  6. That would go well. "sorry, I didn't actualy hack that account, it was mine and I was droptrading. So maybe you could move the black marks from scamming to drop trading so I don't forget why I was banned. Thanks." Ya, that would acomplish alot. You really can't get out of it. The only plausible explanation you can offer is that you were breakign a different rule. Maybe they dont ban poeple for drop tradign though so its worth a try -.- I don't realy care though. I don't approve of droptrading and havent done it since 2004. I dont use any of my other accounts eaither.
  7. I handed out candy and scare the bejesus out of some little kids. I was a grim reaper. I just stood inside the door (and outside a couple times) playing statue. When they'ed ring the dorbell i'd look at them before moving. Got most people, though a couple really little kids didn't think it was as funny as I did. Once it was really dark I hid by the rose bushes a couple times or was a driveway statue (would just move my head as they went by). Basicly I aim to scare.
  8. I think many people dont like merchants, because while anyone can merchant, we cant all make a profit doing it. That just is not possible with only item exchange. So for you to get rich merchanting, you have to take away money from other people. Everytime merchanting makes you richer, someone else just got a bit poorer too. I dont merchant, though I do sell the fruits of some of my skilling for a good profit. This benifits me because the time spent selling red chinchompas can now be used to get more of them to sell. And now it will be much easier to get things as cheep as I can which is a good thing. It will be interesting to see th eresult though. Maybe something unforseen will happen and cause dramatic price changes. Might make rc'ing for profit a bit tricky though, since buy-x now exists. So runes wont be sellable for more than shop price.
  9. I like this. Im willing to take a small hit to profits if it means not spending hours of my life selling red chinchompas. Besides, i figure lost revenue will be made up for by being able to get things cheeper with greater ease. Skills mean more to me than money (good thing, I only have 1 or 2 mill at a time), and this will enhance my skilling.
  10. Happened to me at crafting guild awhile ago. I doubted that someone had a high combat main, they teleported it across the members and brought it to the guild just to prove me wrong. I think I still one, by inconvienincing him and forcing him to log out, I got to finish my gold mining without chalenge and wasted 5 minutes of his time. Was it really worth it to prove me wrong? Oh well, that only happens about 1 in 500 chalenges to the "mains" existance.
  11. It is interesting that tip.it used to be listed on the mainpage as a fansite, and know you cna be banned for tellign people about it. Its there to protect stupid or nieve people who don't understand the dangers of going to certain websites. Personally I think it was better when Jagex actually listed the good fansites but sinc ethey dont do that, no ingame aadvertising is probably best.
  12. It's legal yes, but it is also against the rules. Someone alredy quoted it, you must eathier pay yourself, or it must be a member of your immediate family ie: Mom, Dad, brother, sister. Aunts, uncles, grandparents im not sure about, there not strictly immediate, but many are family by blood. Would they ever be able to tell? I think they might if the card and your last name dont match. Its worth the wait if it means not being banned.
  13. I prefer AMD because in the range I use, AMD's are cheeper for about the same preformance. Although I find (noticable in laptops) that an AMD and Intel of the same preformance power, the AMD has a tendancy to run a little hotter. The heat makes my current laptop a bit ineficcent, if it werent for power settings this could drain a new battery in 40 minutes. But unlike my old laptop, it wont sterilise you or give you first degree burns (chipset cover plate was aluminum) from prolonged contact. I just like AMD more, maybe because my fist computer was an AMD and it has preformed admirably. Just like I prefer HP computers (though thats partily customer support).
  14. No, it isn't. RuneScape has barely scratched the surface of Java's capabilities. Java, while not as powerful as C++, is a very useful language, and is more than capable of creating decent graphics. Same thing goes for last edition's comment about the Edgeville graphics. As a matter of fact, I think RuneScape's current engine can handle horseback riding quite fine, albeit with some lag. Actualy there java engine is alredy strained. Anything that runs under the old system pushes that to its limits (think about the cut scene in the penguin agility course). They have alredy re worked the system to allow much greater detail, and I think if they push it much further, the people on dial-up are going to start seeing the reprecussions. I suppose yes you could rig Java to incredible heights of graphic detail, but no one on anything less than a T3 or maybe T1 is ever going to be able to use it. And I will apoligise for the quality of editing in this edition. At least one of our editors is missing and teh remaining staff were pressed in terms of time, we will all do our best to ensure a higher standard of quality in all futur editions.
  15. I can never recognise your avatar, it keeps changing :anxious: And this is why you went to teh underground pass and not someone else -.- The anyplace where failing agility means a long walk to try again (the Underground Pass) just makes me frustrated, so places like that are the worst because there no fun :( Scariest would have to be teh northern piece of land above and between neitiznot and Jatizo. I died there once, no fun at all (I have not died without being prepared for death many times. Only twice I think and ive been around for 4 years  )
  16. When I walk into a bar it somehow jumps back and apoligises for beign in my way. Same thing for trees in the forest :XD: Either that or I get tackled by drunks who want my stuff, if its that kind of bar. And by drunks I mean noobs, and by tackled I mean scam.
  17. Go to http://www.freewebs.com/womda I know the varrock pictures are all pre graphics update, and some of the other places may have been updated too. DO NOT link to those pictures though, rigth click them and use their image shack target please.
  18. How long did you give it to load. My comp is quite fast and above average internet and it still takes it's sweet time to load that thing. Assuming you can still log inot the game then your Java is still working properly. If you cant log into the game either than you need to re-install latest version of Java. Give it some time to load, or click that link and deal with a log in thats not as pretty.
  19. Its a bit out of the way, but ape atoll is crawlign with pineaples. 71 hunter might be needed for that to be usefull though (imp boxes to bank almost 2 invetorys worth, plus carry another back with you).
  20. I would think a bracelet of clay and the khazzard mine would be best. No bank, but you do get a nearby deposit box. And insted of bracelet you can make it soft clay later I guess. But the mine is practicly ontop of the deposit box there.
  21. Cant belive it took some of you this long to figure out Jagex does care and are trying to resolve the problem. This must mean the member worlds are also yew bot free (or they wouldn't be working on the free worlds). Big job, glad to see there up to the chalenge.
  22. Randox replied to kimzon's topic in Rants
If you spelled that well on the RSOF then maybe they couldn't read. Or maybe it was eastier because it was at there level of writign skill :ohnoes: People are dumb sometimes, what can ya do bout it though. :uhh:
  23. The hood dosent match actualy balck robes like priest. Might match black magic robe sthough. Wish I had a [Caution: Jagex Rule Violation], and the event only took 10 minutes. Emote is cool but theere were better ideas.
  24. Im not supprised to see oyu say that. And it's sound advice, Being able to make at least your own iron armour is handy. Do some quests, wander around and get a feel for the map, even the F2P map is HUGE at first (though after more than 2 years it gets pretty small, so I upgraded : ). Lets see whatelse? Umm...DO NOT get membership rigth away. I woudl suggest you get all your skills to at least 30, and try to get maby a third of tehm to 40 and another third to 50. That should take you a good while, get you used to skilling and playing and interacting (all that good stuff) before you satrt paying and get overwhelmed by a world with at least 7 times the map, triple the items, and about 5 time the quests (which are the major reason to wait). You wont benifit much from getting members right away, and youll barl ybe able to do quests. My only other advice is use the world map, or at teh very least buy a newcomers map from any general store. this will act like a semi accurate GPS any where in teh free world (semi acurate means youll have a rough idea where you are in relation to major citys, and will help you find out where you are on the world map). For best results use both, and if all else fails, you can ask someone to take you to your destination, though that will take a while and they may try to kill you by takign you to dangerous places.
  25. No, thats called unwarented optimisem. Try to be about 20% more pesimistic in the future to avoid dissapointment (Actually I think I mean 20% more cynical but just go for a bit more of both to be safe ) Actualy there are an amazing number of smart and interesting people who play, but they tend to be quiet to avoid notice by the masses of loud morons who are also very numerous. The people who arent shoutign out random things, who go about there buisness tend to be the best in my experiance. We complain about teh bad people alot, but thats becaus ethe more numerous smart people are doing everyhtign they can to avoid drawing attention.
