Drinking almost always gives me a headache, but I only get it while I'm still drunk (normally takes an hour to set in). I've never had it the morning after. Just saw Clash of the Titans. Now I kind of want to see the Revenge one that is either coming out soon or just came out. But the movie I really want to see is Cabin in the Woods. I've never really been into horror/thrillers because I always have trouble finding someone to see them with. Now I've discovered I do have someone so :D Don't think I'll ever be up for the Exorcist though. I'd like to sleep again at some point, without nightmares, and that movie seems like it might be counter productive to achieving that goal.

I don't envy you if that's all it takes to make you sick the next day. I really have to work at it (like 15 shots to make me have a few bouts of being queasy the next day, and that's being an infrequent drinker so I don't have any sort of extra tolerance). On a related note, I haven't had more than like 4 shots in 24hrs in like 2 years.
  3. For the girl initiating the kiss, I would say its kind of critical that you do this sometimes. If one party is always initiating something, they are going to assume that you don't want to do that, and they'll stop. If you don't reciprocate the action, I think the assumption would be that your saying you aren't ready to do that yet. You don't need to do it right away, but for me I would use 3 as the magic number (as in he doesn't get to kiss me four times before I kiss him back). It's verification that you like what they are doing, and want them to keep doing it.
  4. Public Transit is great in so far as it makes my life a lot easier at time. But yeah, there is totally a reason why everyone who can afford a car has one (actually several).
  5. I'm fairly certain that the only sub-genre I have a hope of identifying is night core. It's distinctive enough that I just needed a few sample songs, and I understand it. I haven't the faintest clue what the difference between techno/electronic/dance is, and I don't care because I like a lot of the stuff that falls under those labels. On a side note, I hate every song with screaming. The only band from that part of music I will listen to is Metallica, though I haven't heard enough of their stuff to know if I like it all or not (I mostly just listen to enter sandman). I also have no love for wicked guitar rifts. I much prefer base and drums. I too dislike the use of sub-genres most of the time, because I have never been in an area of the internet where I should be expected to have a clue what they mean. If I want more music like stuff I like, I'll say I want more music like [name of artist], and normally someone can give me a couple names. I've also noticed that people can't agree on what the sub-genres are. Everyone seems to have their own sample set that includes only bands they like, because obviously you can only love/hate the entire genre, and not just most of it.
  6. Wait for a pause in the conversation (between topics) and just go for it. However, it also depends on the girl. With Stacy, I get the vice that she is reluctant to be in a relationship in general (and correct me if I'm wrong if you know something I don't about how intimate she has gotten with boys in the past. Past experience is going to dictate how comfortable she is. I am under the impression that she has not dated much, if at all, before. In that situation, I would definitely cuddle first (again, lulls in the conversation aren't bad), and wait until she starts cuddling back before you try to kiss her. If she is shy, a public place is probably not the best place to try it for the first time.

If you wouldn't do it in front of your partner, then you shouldn't be doing it. That's the simplest way I can put it. Saw the Hunger Games tonight. Easily one of the best book to movie adaptations I have ever seen (if not the best). They changed some things, and left some stuff out, but it was all extras and stuff that wouldn't make a good movie, so I am very happy. I look forward to seeing the next two when they are made.
  8. 6 Scientific Reasons Your Girlfriend's Father Hates You (yes, cracked article) That thing that I don't get, is how do people grow up thinking that will work (forbidding a relationship like that). I mean yes, if he actually blocks the whole thing entirely for long enough that will probably kill it, but its not like it will improve grades or anything. Actually, if hes really that worried that a relationship will suck up to much of her time, then he should be thrilled she is in a committed long distance thing, because it prevents her from going out with someone who can actually take her one dates and really suck up her time, and overall cause more distractions. Going by what you said, I think he (a)hates you and (b) is convinced your going to break her heart, and he thinks he can spare her that pain (note to self in 25 years - you can't spare other people that pain, only help them deal with it). It is also possible, since this would be my objection as a parent, that its not really you, its that she is in a long distance relationship, and the way he see's it her dating skills are stagnating because she can't use them. Long distance relationships have never been my thing. Actually, that's how all my relationships have ended (except one), as well as a few friendships.

Right there with you, though I have absolute confidence in my current boyfriend in this regard (which is not often the case). I have discovered Tycoon Lagoon 3, and my inner child. Bouncing around in sandbox mode before I move on to the part where I don't have infinite money. My one gripe with the game (though this might be a problem with me and not the game) is that I make these amazing roller coasters that would be epic to ride assuming the g-force doesn't knock you out. I've really only made two 'super coaster' so far, but with the second one I discovered that I could just lower the launch speed to the minimum to get it though the whole track, and made it more fun. People will actually ride this one (and boy is there a lot of vomit at the exit). I love watching the riders faces on that ride. Most people will look like their going to vomit or have have a heart attack, and there will always be one or two people with this huge grin plastered on their faces. Tomorrow I might look at extending it, and also my other coaster in this park. I am also an epic pool designer. My pool runs through more than 1000 people in an hour (and its not that crowded), which is two thirds of my current park population (its also like half the income). It's hard to make a good waterside though (the game loves them, but I feel I could do better). I think its my knee jerk reaction go put in the steepest drops I can, which makes you run out of space really fast (one of them has a freaking 60m drop). As a side note, a lot of people in that game are wearing the symbols for computer companies. I've seen ATI and Atari for sure, and a few other which I suspect are just logos I don't recognize. Now I'm wondering if they we're paid to put that stuff in, or if they just asked permission (I don't mind either way. When I noticed it I was all 'hey an ATI shirt. High five!'). Oh, and I go to see the hunger games tomorrow. Should be the highlight of the week until Easter.
  10. That's hilarious. I believe the proper response is to roll around on the floor and laugh until you can't breathe. It's also illegal (here). Can't park within x distance of an intersection. Can't remember the number, works out to like 3 car lengths.

Albel, that sucks on every count. my heart goes out to you. Just now, I realized that my wireless controller has drivers and software. Something I have been wondering is that windows treats its second joystick as a d pad (and it has a button to swap that joystick and the d pad around for digitial or analog control). The new driver has turned both joysticks into actual joysticks, which is awesome. And the software allows you to keymap the contoller to your keyboard, to allow it to work with games that support contrllers. Not often a problem, but I think I might have a use for it already. One of the mod plugins for Kerbal Space program uses a combination of game controls, which the joystick can be mapped to, and two controlls that are actually maped to the keys themselves in the plugin, and can't be changed. By mapping parts of the controller to the keyboard itself, rather than the game, I can do more without needing to touch the keyboard.

See, now I want to watch the video to see whats up. WHY DO I KEEP COMING TO THIS THREAD! If I watch it, now would be good though, while its still light out. EDIT: That's it? <_<
  13. Look into buses. Around here we have what are essentially tour buses that run between a few of the cities and towns carrying passengers and also acting as couriers (generally for larger things that you do NOT want to mail or fedex). Not sure what they cost, but they would certainly facilitate weekend visits to various places around the province. And its a private company, not public transit. Public transit only does the city where I live and the surrounding areas.
  14. I had forgotten about this. Might give it a shot tomorrow.
  15. South Korea is already looking at this? They actually consider it that important and got on it already? If so, that was fast. I've also seen suggestions that they might have overlooked Dutch Law, which if they were to rule this as gambling would cause the game to be outlawed in the Netherlands as well. Jages does have lawyers, but its not always possible to predict what the rulings will be. I'm sure they did consider this stuff ahead of time though (since that is their job). Countries banning RuneScape on the grounds of gambling is probably the best hope to have the update overturned, so everyone wish for that
  16. I think there might be a problem that when you subscribe by CC, they don't tell you that you can be charged up to $200 a day without needing to enter any details (because they even remember the security code on the back). I'm not sure that's really illegal, but that's really slimy and underhanded. Unless they do mention this now (If I resubscribe, it will be at the end of the month). As for being hijacked, the only way a law suit could ever work is if it was Jagex's fault that the account got hijacked, which does happen (when they give the account to someone through the recovery system), but its not the main way people lose accounts. Also remember that Jagex has a million dollar legal team, so unless its class action lawsuit against them, there is no way anyone could really afford to sue them (go justice system). I also feel like the whole reason they have been clearing out the botters so hard is to allow this work. It will never get as much money as it could as long as bots are an option. Since this primarily allows for semi-predictable xp gains, this and casula botters are in direct competition. Or perhaps I have it backwards, and this is a twisted anti-bot/rwt measure by allowing a rule abiding alternative.

And that's why I don't read this thread. Thanks for the nightmare :ohnoes:
  18. Seriously? Transformers 3 was over the top I found, but I can't hate the man that brought us Bad Boys and Bad Boys II (and might bring us Bad Boys III one day). Speaking of directors, M Night Shyamalan hasn't made anything I particularly care for. Signs might have been okay, but I don't like Mel Gibson at all, or anything he has been in (except as the voice of rocky in chicken run).
  19. Heh, I like sports, just none of the ones listed. I'm always down to watch Hockey or Curling (why yes, curling is more interesting to me than every sport with ball in the name, including both foot ball's). I also really like watching texas hold'em for some reason. Bowling and Darts are two that I still can't understand how they even got on TV. By the time your at TV level, everyone is so good that its just bullseye after bulls eye and strike after strike. Pro pool isn't much better. Also not a terribly big fan of clubbing, but I'm not that outgoing, so that's probably why.

If you actually proposed to someone on April 1st, I think my cause of death would be laughing. That would be suck a gigantic dick move.
  21. I think RuneScape just died. Not literally, since I'm sure this update will make them lots of money, even if thousands of members quit over it. Just in spirit. Well. maybe not, this is more or less a very expensive yet fast way to bot without getting banned. And maybe by the end of the month I'll decide this isn't so bad, and that I can live with it. Not today though. Today, I am ANGRY
  22. I presume its so people know who to mug.
  23. There are not very many things that will not grow on me with enough exposure. Sports has a monopoly on the ones that immediatly come to mind: Football, Basketball, Baseball, Soccer, Weightlifting, Wrestling/Boxing/MMA/etc. Chick Flicks. I can do romantic comedy, but I hate the generic chick flick stuff. I can watch just about anything else though. There are also a few reality TV shows that I can't like, and I don't want to like, incuding all the cake and pawn shop shows plus toddlers in tiaras. I can't enjoy wheel of fortune. Its pretty much the only game show I can't stand (I'll even watch deal or no deal). I can like some country music. About half of it is that dee eye vee oh are see ee (d i v o r c e) shit though, and that's just awful. Songs that aren't about your house burning down, your wife leving you and your dog dying are generally okay by me though. There are very few songs I would consider rap that I like, same with gospel. I also won't do opera, except perhaps if its in English. Most first person shooters.
  24. People don't wear deodorant where you live? This reminds me...I used to know a couple people who we're either allowing their clothes to take a good 24+ hours to dry, or we're using a face cloth that smelled of mildew, because sometimes you would get close to them and smell it. I think over the course of the year both scenarios happened. I particularly hate that scent because it will transfer to anything it comes in contact with (or rather the mold that makes the smell is easily transferred).
  25. Wait, there actually are hats? Well played Jagex, you got me  Now to get my peehat
