I got it : I installed a recommended update before service pack 2 which probably helped, or 3rd times a charm :thumbup:

Since the new graphics came out for RuneScape, I'm required to install service pack 2 for the new java updates. I tried two times to install windows service pack 2 through the icon in the system tray. The installation runs fine until half way when it stops and i get the error "Access Denied." I have no idea what this means, if anyone could help me find a way to install service pack 2 it would be very helpful.

Take out the diamond bolts, you don't need special bolts for Jad. Switch the Mitril bolts for about 2k emerald (e) bolts. In replace for the diamond bolts take a restore and take one brew out for another restore. If you have the money, get ranger boots and archer ring. 6/10 invetory 8/10 outfit

Last time I checked this is a zerker pure account, not a "skiller". It's supposed to focus more on the combats as opposed to skills :roll: keep up the good progress.

Been slaying the past week or two and finally got 85 slayer. (got a few days ago, finally got around to posting it) Along the way i got a few levels. 94 defence 96 hp On my first Abyssal Demon task (after 12 tasks) I got my first whip : Rate if you feel up to it.

Dharoking Fire Giants in the smokey dungeon is the best you will be able to do. All you have to do is bring a load of prayer potions and kill the fire giants in the smokey well. The smoke will keep you at 1 hp always, so you will be able to hit your max. Bring a few pieces of food. That evil chicken can be dangerous.

I don't see why they would prefer magics over runite mining. Sure, you just have to sit there at magics while you browse forums, but people are after the money which would be greater in runite mining, and don't think runite is the only ore that yields profit. Granite (500g), is the other rock that can be mined for profit. I'm looking at the grand exchange right now and it's at 1.8k median price, that's more profit and exp than a magic log (1.3k median) Mining should stay the way it is forever. All these skills are becoming way too easy with all these "X' methods. It's one of few hard skills left in the game. It's easier to profit from now than in the past. Granite is in demand for many summoners, and if you have the level (which is not hard to level to.) they sell for 1.8k a pop.

Where would i go about getting bagged plants? I didn't find it while reading the guide.(might have skimmed over it)

explain please doesnt the new helm have the same boosts of black mask so shouldnt people sell b mask after they get mask? The helm and the mask do not have the same bonuses. When you equip each one, you notice that the mask is defenseless, and that the slayer helmet has stats comparable to a rune full helmet. The rise in price is probably due to the new slayer master and the whole slayer update itself.

Tip.It was the only fansite I used back then, I came to this site whenever i had trouble in a quest or wanted to check out the various skill guides, calculators etc.. A few months later i came across the forums and didn't make an account at first. I lurked for a bit and finally made an account. Haven't regretted it either

There are probably alot of people that love to train the slayer skill itself, and I am one of them. It just gives me a different way to train my combats instead of grinding on the same monster over and over. Sure, I get a good drop here and there that's just another bonus in the skill itself.

When i was f2p I always used to mine rune essence or kill cows for cowhides. When i got members all i could find to do was pick flax (oh the memories). I even tried to merchant cow hides from f2p to p2p :wall:

I don't mind junk trading at all. Mainly because most of the players didn't want a trade limit and have their expensive items set at prices lower then they should be. I think it's fine because the ge prices are not where the should be on some items, and if I had junk i would use it in a trade because i want to get the right prices for my items.

Hunter :wall: I know there are a few uses that hunter offers (catching red chinchompas). But honestly, I think it's the most boring skill ever. Everytime i go to train it i end up getting bored then it makes me mad :( . I don't know if it's just me but i don't see any uses for hunter.

I think the smileys aren't working becuase there may be a few bugs in the forums still left to be worked out.

I've been looking at a few guides for 3+ people ranging and i cant seem to find an invetory. Could anyone post a screenshot of an invetory for ranging? (looked at soma's guide and my comp isn't loading pictures :wall: )

I'm not sure if this is legal but if you two are around the same level you can both go into bounty hunter and you kill your friend for the stuff.
