Well, I have this theory actually....The Republicans *want* to lose these elections. They picked Palin as the sacrificial lamb. Meanwhile they're letting Obama win during this sh***y time with recession and all that, when NO ONE could make things better after Bush f-ed up so badly. And during the next election, there will be McCain (if he's still alive :P) or some other dude, blaming the fiasco of these elections on Palin and the recession on Obama. Voila evil plan!

No matter what you do with your life, the outcome is the same. (=death). This is a sobering fact and when you look at it like that, it puts everything in perspective. Of course it depends on everyone, what they do, what they want to leave behind, be remembered as, etc, but ultimately everything is pointless. Even leading a good and pleasant life is pointless, in the long run. In the short run, sure, it's good. People choose different sort of lives, and that's neither good nor bad. Whatever makes them happy. I for one don't think any life style/ambition, whether you want a family, a career, whether you're a famous astronaut or a druggie, makes any difference. It seems a pity that people came to possess such intellectual abilities as to ask themselves such questions, since that can only mean accepting death all the more difficult.

When I was little, I sometimes felt like turning on a random street, on my way to school, for instance and just kept going to see where it would lead/what would happen. Like in a video game. Never done it, because life isn't a video game, it's much more boring. :P

It's true, cannabis is less harmful that the legal cigarettes. Also, smoking a pipe is healthier than smoking cigarettes. Just because the government says they're illegal for whatever reason, shouldn't stop us to discuss and compare the effects. After all, we're rational human beings and it's a free world? Besides, if we were to limit all discussions that people may feel strongly about, we'd pretty much have nothing to talk about.

Hello guys, I need your help to find out the name of a poem and the author. Unfortunately I can only remember the main outline, no actual parts of it (or else I'd try my best to search on google. I already tried, to no effect.) Here's what I remember about it: It had an anti-racist theme, but not overtly so. It was made like a story, and it mentioned the words 'black' and 'white' a lot. If I remember well, it switched (in common expressions) the word 'black' with 'white', to create an interesting effect. (like 'whitemail' instead of 'blackmail'). I'm pretty sure it also mentioned the 'Black House' (instead of 'White House). The poem is essentially funny and witty and not very long. I think the end in particular has a nice twist. If any of this rings a bell, please tell me the name and author, thanks!
