Has Construction been left in the Sawdust?
Are you willing to pay the extra money Jagex would have to charge all its paying members, just to pay for this increased use of memory? Personally, I would be. It's not good enough to yell, "We want more space" when Jagex have already given plenty of concessions in the past couple of years (even to F2P players) without ever increasing the amount we have to pay for the game. In fact, when I write it like that, the call sounds pretty audacious and cheeky.

Has Construction been left in the Sawdust?
Personally, I like the way you have to pay bucket loads of money to train it. It forces people in diversity which is only a helpful thing for the RS economy as a whole. It also ensures there is one skill that measures how much wealth you've accumulated over time, which is an achievement in itself. I would like to see more furniture falt-packable though. I want to be able to hang other people's Slayer trophies etc. in their house for them by lending them my assistance. Why can't I be allowed that? It shouldn't be on Jagex priority list, however. It's fairly simple and easy to train, and has enough content.

UK population could soar to 90m
And this has what to do with immigration? Most of the immigration coming here is from Poland and Eastern Europe; not an Islamic country. I can't see where you're making this bridge between immigration and Muslims. In fact, if we want a reliable source: 2.8% does not strike me as a country being 'overrun'. For the matter, sources estimate there are around 100,000 people who feel the 7/7 attacks were justified. Let's presume you could label all of those as 'extreme Muslims' (which in reality is wrong since that is only their opinion, not their ideology). I make the group of people you're claiming are 'overunning' this country to be an amazing 0.17%. Even in the most Muslim-dense areas of London, this figure never exceeds ~20%.

NEW: Scarabites as slayer task
I've added Scabarites to the Slayer guide; along with the spelling mistake mentioned in an earlier thread, this update is waiting for release. I'll keep this thread open pending varification for the other monsters you've mentioned.

Life Is Too Fragile To Be Wasted
I approach everyday with that attitude. I see the world as a dangerous place naturally. Why do you think the reason I play RuneScape as much as I do is? Whatever you're feeling, it will come clear with time. No one understands their emotions after a large shock like this. You and your mates just have to stick with each other and help yourselves through this. Don't be scared of showing emotion over it either; it's better out than in. Also, don't blame yourselves for this. I know some people who have had someone close to them commit suicide and they've blamed themselves personally for it. You couldn't have known he was gonna do that, so don't blame yourselves for not preventing it. It was out of your control. I hope things feel better after some time Omar. :(

UK population could soar to 90m
You try and provide us with accurate statistics, by highlighting a man who won't (or can't) provide his own? As pointed out in that article, he can't even name one of those 'no-go' areas. Freedom of expression has never existed in this country. Hence why if you say anything racist, you can be prosecuted. Why are you supporting the 'preservation' of an identity you don't even know yourself? Frankly, if I was a Muslim, I'd be offended at those pictures. Admittedly I wouldn't have called for people to be beheaded; those people took it too far and were rightly prosecuted. So where's your issue? It's the same story as above, with different words and pictures... :| Not an example of 'forcing their beliefs'. All they're asking for is respect to their culture. If they were calling for a complete ban on pork in this country, I might see where you're coming from. Until then, I'll allow whatever council has responsibility for that area to judge whether their claim is valid, since they have a far better understanding of the area than you or I do. Horrible as their message is, 45 people are representative of a whole religion, how? It's one of those ANCIENT stories from 2001 you were on about, but oh well we'll deal with it anyway. Once again, a small student network is not a full picture of the religion. The inescapable truth is there is a silent majority which does not condone these activities, and are as much for security and liberalism as most British citizens are. And again you try and depict one man as similar to one billion others... Well if we're into quoting a minority, and then trying to twist those quotes to make them look representative of a majority's view, let's try these on for size: There's two in just a 4:51 clip by the guy. Secondly, you're mixing foreigners up with Islam. Are you saying it's compulsory to be a foreigner if you want to be a Muslim? Once again, you seem to confuse groups of people that you really shouldn't be if you had any of your own understanding on this issue. Isn't it amazing - you joined on the same day he did, you joined after he was banned, and you have the same views as him. Coincidence, of course...

Homosexuality - Gay Bashing?
How many topics about homosexuality can we have in 12 months? Seriously... Homosexuality is no more a personal choice as 'choosing' to be straight is. It's a perfectly natural, uncontrolable emotion. If a person finds more romance being with a member of the same sex, then good for them for establishing that and being confident enough to express. I find this logic of arguing similar to anti-abortion groups; if you don't agree with them, don't use them - there are plenty of other alternatives out there which don't involve persecuting those that use the method you happen to have a problem with, most typically because of a book written nearly two thousand years ago.

UK population could soar to 90m
What are you implying? That a person cannot oppose immigration completely without reverting to sounding like an unjustified sudo-Fascist? :P As for my avatar. I've expressed countless times in my one and half years here that I in no way support the Stalinist regime. For the matter, I am actually a Socialist who believes in the proletariat gaining power through democratic means, as opposed to the Bolsheviks who belived in forced Communism through a revolution. The Sickle and Hammer is a universal symbol which typically represents Marxists overall. Are you implying Marx somehow called for the extermination of entire races to fit in with Darwinism (which for the matter, is actually a matter of speciation, not race)? In fact, pretty much everyone on this board knows my political position well, and many accept my views as perfectly justifiable and valid. If the rules had a problem with it, I wouldn't exactly be a member of the Tip.It Staff now, would I? If you're going to flame someone, at least make sure you've stuck around long enough to know them first...

~ A History Topic? ~
The English Civil wars (there were three, although you might get away with it since it's commonly roled up into one). The second actually ended at the bottom of the hill I live on, next to the primary school I went to. I found it fascinating.

Tip.it Times Presents: Jagex, I want a GOOD update!
Indeed. Something which made me stay off my life duties for a good 20 mins. To be honest, on that 'clicking' front, I never saw the justification in the argument anyway. How is adding such a feature as Cook X making the game easier? For something to be made easier, it must have some level of complexity and difficulty beforehand. Clicking until you contract CTS is hardly my idea of 'difficult' as opposed to dangerous. Simple put, that update was more about making their product safe, and while that particular one was before my time, I've praised Jagex for similar updates to Smithing and Fletching. A brilliant article that explores the true political complexity of a professional group. You'll never please everyone; just keep an eye on how big that minority that disagrees with you is, and listen to them. That's the key. Please do.

UK population could soar to 90m
As far as I'm concerned, "identity" is a weak argument for a person opposing immigration, if they then have no objections to American chains like McDonalds and Microsoft setting up shop after shop here. In fact, I'd say there's a case for racism in that case, since they're more than happy to allow white, Western culture in, but would blindly say 'No' to anything else. Globalisation, in my honest opinion, is a far bigger threat to "identity" (if such a thing can even be defined) than a group of widely varying races, which in total constitutes <5% of the country's population, even after ten years of supposed 'mass immigration'.

Pure Essence: What happened?
But qeltar, for people who read that guide (who are mostly new to RuneScape and require basic knowledge of the skill's advantages and disadvantages), it is a good way to make money. Most people who train fletching aren't very good at combat, thus they can't go hunting for big drops. Nor typically will they have played the game long enough to have a firm understanding of the RS economy, so they can't merchant either. In terms of skilling, for a new player looking at our guides, it is a good way to make money, simply for the fact you're making a profit. There aren't many ways to make profit upon first joining the game.

Pure Essence: What happened?
Jagex created a tool which allows us to trade things faster, only to encourage self-sufficiency? Completely contradictory. Not to mention, even with higher Pure Essence prices, I can still buy cosmics, natures and laws and make a profit at the Mage Training Arena by selling Infinity Boots; that's hardly forcing me to be self-sufficient.

"I want a girlfriend/boyfriend", and other such relationship advice
so the who feeling of protecting and tremendous amount of faith on a person is extremely important? I knew it was important but didn't realize it was so vital. I assume it's because it's one of the qualities of a "real man"? Nope, that's just what Goddess looks for in a partner. Each of us has different personalities, strengths and weaknesses. More often than not, when we find someone else attractive, they have the qualities we ourselves lack. There are many girls that despise protective guys. It invades their own individuality.

Psychiatric help advice needed (anyone ever dealt with it?)
Actually, I think Mel would be first to admit not even she can properly deal with this situation. She's not actually a fully-trained psychiatrist from what I know. It's like how you can't practice as a doctor simply because you have 5 years at medical school under your belt; you have to go into specialist training after university before you can start practising. At least I think that's how it is in the UK, not sure about the US. You'll have to forgive me for speaking as a citizen of the UK, so we're covered by NHS procedures. I have no idea if it's the same in the US but I can't imagine it would be too different. To be honest, you do have to see some sort of medical professional if you want to get better. The classic advice from NHS Direct when it comes to dperession and similar circumstances is to take a note of your symptons over the past two weeks, and then go to see your GP. Also, ask yourself whether it isn't just grief that you can easily get over in the short-term, or do you actually think it's something more serious; be honest about it because mental illness isn't something that can easily be picked up. there's no physical conclusive test for it. They'll make sure it's not a physical condition (take a measure of the neurotransmitters in your brain, etc.), and if not, they'll refer you for psychiatric help. I have no personal experience of going to psychiatrists. I have been to councilling when I was younger, but not a psychiatrist. I do know a couple of people that have though and yes, they found the experience very good. They both at least got much better anyway. One was given antidepressants but has since given them up and is living her own life well now. As for finances, I wish I could help you there but like I said, we live under a completely free health service so we don't have to think of things like Medical Insurance and whether the bill is thrown to our parents. I presume you live in the Us, so maybe another American can tell you that info? More general advice from me though is just try to remain balanced. You seem to be thinking way too negatively at the moment and yes that can cause serious psycholigical illness; not just depression, but many more. Although since you're a medical student I'm presuming you know a slight bit about that. If you feel yourself getting down, do anything that will make you hopeful for a positive outcome again. I hope anything I've said has helped ya, but as Nadril says, I doubt there's anyone on these forums that can actually properly help you.

Terrorism
Proof? And even if you have it, how does this outweigh the benefits of multiculturalism? No, they're being paid, ergo it's not slavery. That's capiltalism. If you're an employer, and you have a British man who wants more pay for working less hours and less motivated to work, as opposed to a migrant worker who will work harder with more enthusiasm and for less, it's fairly obvious which one (s)he'll choose. I'm not entirely convinced wages have gone down either. In fact, last time I checked, they were going up due to inflation. The fact is this country is still 85% White British and therefore migrant workers have a limitied effect on our economy. Again, proof? The fact is many of them come over here with their families. Although you'd probably argue that one as well since that means they're taking up houses. Even if they are sending it back home... it's their money they can do whatever they want with it. Everytime you buy an electrical good, you're likely sending your money to China or the US. Should we start persecuting you now? What on Earth are you saying here? That migrant doctors or more likely to spread MRSA (a virus which lives harmlessly on every human's skin, by the way) than a British person? The NHS is more at threat from an ageing population, rather than mass immigration anyway. Do you suggest we kill all old people to relieve pressure too? Or is it just foreigners you have a problem with? And as we've already told you, the 7/7 and 21/7 bombers were born and bred in the UK. How would immigration stop that? If your only purpose on this forum is to spread generally negative messages about forgeigners and blame immigraiton for all your problems, then I'd suggest you just stop now since it won't gain you much sympathy (not least with moderators, possibly). I've noticed your posts in the other threads too. However, if you insist on doing so, there's already a thread for it: http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=719 ... c&start=40

Terrorism
Sorry, I'm dumbfounded by the stupidity of that last comment. Own countries? What own countries? They'd have been destroyed by the Nazi regime! If we hadn't have stepped into WWII when we did, we'd also probably have lost. Sure, we wouldn't have multiculturalism (which for the matter has contributed to our economic successes for the past 175 years and no one battered an eyelid); we'd just be attending HJ classes and swearing allegience to the Fuhrer instead. I can see how you envisage this alternative as a preference. If we hadn't have allowed immigration for the last two centuries, we wouldn't have a public service - at least not one anywhere near as strong as we do today. Lots of our workforce in the NHS comes from immigration. Poles drive our buses and clean our rubbish. In other words, they do the jobs hardly any British person would do. No terrorism at all? Terrorism has existed for thousands of years. In fact, you wanna talk about suicide bombers? The English Crusaders were possibly the first to use such tactics. Your theory that terrorism was created in the past dozen years thanks only to immigration is frankly wrong.

So we're all Iraqis then? OK. none of my family has ever being to iraq, idk about every1 elses tho Actually, I think you'll find European culture has been found to have originated from Babylon, which is now where Iraq lies. And most people in Northern America have ancestry in Europe, after we colonised it. Since we're speaking of around 90% of the site's population in those two groups alone, it's pretty fair to say most of this site's ancestry stems from Babylon. This is all however frankly irrelevant to your point. If we hadn't have allowed their "grandparents" in to the country, we wouldn't have a railways sytem, nor would we have as many doctors/nurses in our hospitals, or intellectuals in our universities. In fact, forget all that, we may have even lost WWII. Instead of blaming our liberalism for terrorism, why not look at your own persecution of forgeigners?
