Ever seen a PKer use a crystal bow? Neither have I. Well, except for the clawing\1 iteming "pkers" that you should be running from anyway.

  6. YOU FILLIPING MISSED MY GRATZ MESSAGE! Knew I shoulda screenied it myself
  7. 1/10, not a big fan of giant jumping green bunnies :?
  8. So what, precisely, are you suggesting? Change it to another item, and that items skyrockets in price. You don't seem to realize that in a player driven economy, you will lose EXACTLY the same amount if you die due to prices adjusting to compensate. No matter how you calculate, players say a guthans set is worth X; dying with it will lose you Y. And market price STILL wouldn't work for untradables. Quest and items like crystal bow have an alch value of '0', so next someone will be whining that they lost their 900k crystal shield and kept 1 gp.

  10. You are dumb for ignoring our posts. Flamebait. No need to be rude. Items kept on death are based on items' alchemy values. The reason the helms are high in prices is that they are lost when dying with a four-item set (with basic item keeping situation, AKA 3 most valuable items) and have to be bought back if you want to continue using the set. That has been posted half a dozen times now, and all the posters are refusing to 'get it'. I smell a lock.
  11. It's very easy to get the kill. You've got the highest max hit, and the only freezing spells in the game. At 40 attack\strength it hits 27? That's odd, I wasn't aware of it. It appears tip.it's max hit calculator differs slightly, saying it's a whopping 10, 11 with a strength pot. It would appear your are dead wrong. Almost impossible to get a PK on any combat style at that level. PK where people aren't crowded around, and you'll find it much easier.
  12. No, your just wrong. Who's more accurate, someone who spent (literally) months recording hits, or someone who probably borrowed a pair a couple hours and never bothered to write ANYTHING down? Was talking about per spec; as it is used, it resets the 30 second timer, similar to summoning scrolls, so you end up closer to 2.8 minutes per spec.
  13. 5/10 So what's the difference between having 2,000 pages of replies and copying and pasting them into another web site with 2,000 pages? :-#
  14. 3/10, 9/10 if you didn't lie and it actually is your GF :ohnoes: I'm amazed the mods haven't smacked you with the almighty banhammer. Heck, they didn't even yell at me for the tor info. Guess they overlooked it and no one reported it. That or else they finally decided to be nice to the few regulars that haven't left yet. Doubt it -.-
  15. How *much* have you used them. I find it odd that I'm 99 strength, and I've spent 100+ hours testing and recording hits. I also find it odd that you are hitting 50 'every single time'. Since your only level 100, I'm assuming you don't own bandos, that you haven't completed RFD at 91 QP and that you don't have a fire cape at 70 range. So I will assume you are missing +4 strength bcp, +4 from f cape,+2 strength from tassets, and +10 strength from dark gloves. That's a grand total of -20 strength from the max of 99, so 79 strength bonus. Now, the max at 99 strength super setted with piety and +99 strength is 86; an initial hit of 43 coupled with the maximum secondary hit. Now, you are missing 20% of the strength bonus, so your max will drop 10% to 77. Your strength level drops from 117 to 71, a 40% drop. You also lose 5% from dropping down from piety to chivalry. So your losing 45% of your strength level, a loss of 22.5% from your original hit of 86. This leaves you with a grand total max of 58, assuming you hit the 4 hit series and actually hit. Now, the 4 hit series only has a 75% chance of hitting; the other combinations will drop your max hit by approximately half. So we've got a 75% chance of hitting a max of 58, plus a 25% chance of hitting a max of 29. This leaves us with an average max hit, assuming you hit at all, of 50. Now, the average hit is simply half of your max, leaving us with an AVERAGE hit of 25, revealing your 30-50 to be an outright lie, and dropping your max far below magic's 62. That doesn't even factor in misses, which are roughly 35% against equally leveled defence, dropping your average hit to a massive 16! Oh, and that's for a speccing weapon, which you can use a grand total of once every 3 minutes  Let's see, your arguing over a weapon you don't have, about stats and equipment you don't have, versus magic spells that you can't even cast. Why are you even trying :|
  16. Just one piece of advice: go for a good cooling system if you want to drag it out as long as possible. Those tiny, cramped little miniboxes that are shoved in a corner only last a few years from heat buildup. Get a big, open case with as many fan vents as possible, with an aftermarket CPU cooler and possibly a GPU cooler depending on your card. Other then that, if your investing a decent amount (1,000-1,200+) your probably better off with a quad core. The downside is that current games and programs will run significantly slower - anything that's single core, as most programs are now, are only going to be able to run at whatever clock speed they are rated, with the muti-cores not even coming into play. So a program running on, say, a 2 ghz quad core will run 1.5x slower then a 3 ghz dual core, despite the quad core costing the same amount. In the future, when most programs are multithreaded, you'll want a quad core. So if your going for 7 years, go quad :P I can't give you specific recommendations for the parts, but I would advise the 1,000-1,300 range; you can get a really nice system that you won't have to waste a lot of time waiting on or toning down games for the next few years.

That simply wouldn't work. The items work on a timer, not a charge; once the timer has started, it's not going to stop. You could simply trade it to your friend when your not using it for PKing. They can't create a different item model for literally every second of the time it exists.
  18. Please. It's what, 100k per hour? I can make over 800k at avansies. Only a fool would try to make longs, your sacrificing 700k per hour because your too stupid to realize it.
  19. 10/10. Less lag then other sigs.
  20. So how am I supposed to know you :? 3/10
  21. Sure. Rates start at 150k for 1h, 100k\h for 2-4 hours, 80k\h for 5-10 hours, 60k\h for 10-20 hours, 50k\h for 24 hours.
  22. Good argument :P (too bad I "think I'm always right" :? )
  23. Hence why mages don't farcast in crowded areas.
  24. Not nearly everyone PKs in the cities; look at the population vs. the crowd. Training spots are popular, as is near BH and deep wildy for the brave. Clan wars area is usually packed too. So what about that being the 'only way'? Your hitting over 60 in 1 shot, NOT using spec so you can do it constantly, with crazily high accuracy. Range armor drops the hit rate to around 60%, far better then melee does on mage armor. Dragon claws are nowhere near overpowered, I'm going to venture a guess and say you've never owned a pair  I could loan you mine to play around with for a while, but my junk schedule's booked until next week. Send me a PM.
