  1. Bones are a secondary item that are dropped as a side result of farming a monster; aside from green dragons, bones are not the goal of killing monsters.
  2. Maxed stats, efficient: 650k from dragons + 200k charms, 45k XP; 825k cash + 78k XP from Avansies.
  3. Only true if one plans to train slayer. By the same token, challenge scrolls are the best possible way to train melee; it's the fastest way to get melee and challenge scroll, and your wasting your time if you get them after 99. But, like slayer, challenge scrolls provide 0 benefit. The whole 'slayer is the most efficient way to train slayer' argument is baloney. Slayer offers far worse 'composition of your charms' then ANY of the summoning powertraining methods.
  4. Because it should be locked as a duplicate. So then lock it Mr Mod. ...oh right. Reported for rules 1.2 and 1.5, thanks to the amazing report button regular users can find rule infractions as well as moderators. The price would be ruined if they were removed. They are too hard to obtain and too commonly used.
  5. Opposite is true. Slayer will give a slow assortment of various types of charms; powertraining at waterfiends or rock lobsters will give you a fast supply of crimsons with much faster overall summoning XP.
  6. Done plenty of times. I don't find arrogance that annoying (surprise, surprise... I could swear someone will post about the irony -.- ), but I can't stand immaturity\stupidity\begging. Hence why I can't stand most noobs.
  7. [hide=]My pet peeve is people who post duplicate threads in the wrong forum[/hide] Yes, it is annoying. Hard to ignore, too - they just follow around asking.
  8. I agree, i have the worst possible game play every time i play it. I stay away from these worlds as much as possible, i prefer playing on the tip it homeworld anyways the people are nicer and i get no lag whatsoever. "no lag whatsoever" on a US server from Australia. I get "no lag whatsoever" on an Australia server from the US
  9. Very true. It works best in teams, the short interval is a pain when solo pking.
  10. Because, ON AVERAGE, noobs are less mature, less intelligent, more whining\begging and more of a jerk if you don't do what they want. Simple as that.

Because they are tied the the person, not the item. Your post about how they worked was dead wrong, so I responded to it instead of actual rings of recoil. Those would have the exact same problem - with repairs and degrading, one could trade to friends to 'earn back' free recharges, and use an item without having to pay any money for it. There's a reason barrows armor is only tradable at broken or fixed.
  12. Run a ping on, say, google.com. Start -> run -> cmd -> ping google.com -t. I average 93ms ping for location close to me. Adding an extra 80 or so MS of ping time on isn't even going to be noticable in RS; the average human reaction time is over 300 MS. That doesn't even change the fact that he's getting massive lag on a server near him and little on one across the world - he's experiencing it because of a bad server between him and Jagex. It's as unfixable as calling up the Air Force and demanding they remove a lighting storm so it doesn't interfere with your TV reception.
  13. I like these. They need to be more specific, though. I don't like the vague answers that don't actually tell us anything.
  14. Agreed. Started long before the GE, and it would create far too many problems with untradable\quest items if it were changed.

Because they people could trade it back and forth to friends just before it degraded for unlimited use -.-
  16. Why should they? Mages have the (not) unique ability to run too. Bind is unbelievably handy in any sort of a team, and a solo mage still defeats melee\range at his level.
  17. Agreed. I run comcast cable (waiting for FIOS :P ), with gigabit ethernet, and I've DCed twice in the past year.
  18. Because all skilling areas are already almost empty. If they are completely empty, training will be simply too easy with virtually no risk of PKers. You can stop the whole 'lag on a far away server' thing. I usually use australia servers, and I live in the US. It adds at most 80ms of ping time, roughly what most internet connections experience anyway. Jagex is a buisness, with ONE goal: Making money. They will do whatever they need to to establish the long term security of that goal.

Never. It's the internet, immature people can do what they want with no repercussions.
  20. There is only one members PK world in the US. The fewer people in the world the more likely training places etc. will be deserted, making RWT and potential farming very, very easy. 1k people per server will make for essentially no lag, and Jagex can't put a server near every single playing location - it's not their fault if your getting a crappy connection! Even if they split it into 4 members worlds, you would probably end up with 3 in north american and 1 in Europe. Jagex is making smart business decisions - their updates are for the majority of players.
  21. Exactly - but they were hardly ever used for that before, generally being unbuable or crashing, with the rich, high level players never needing them. They are a fringe item, with little impact on the economy.
  22. Look at the population - PVP words rarely break 1300, and usually hover around 1000. US has far, FAR more players then any other continent - it gets the lions share of the worlds, including PVP.
  23. Dell is weird with fan control. Try googling "dell fan control", I personally use i8kfan. My laptop GPU never goes over 50, my CPU stays under 45. On my desktop, the GTX 260 hits 41 after serious benchmarking, and my CPU gets to around 31-32 with 22 ambient room temperature with a passively cooled motherboard. I put small\quite\cheap fans in every orifice of the box running slowly, it's whisper silent but moves air like a fan. My friends joke that it might fly away sometime. Big fan (realized it was a pun after I typed it...) of adding as many fans as you can possibly fit. And give it that 6 month cleaning.
