That has precisely what to do with anything? Until the day Jagex wires an OC3 line straight to every subscribers house, they can't do one darn thing about lag between your computer and yours. And an OC3 line would probably result in a rise in subscription prices, prompting more ranting.

Chestplate is terrible, I honestly cannot think of a SINGLE use for it. If you need defence, use torags. If you want to kill faster, wear proslyte and use +10% strength. Tassets are beat in every situation by veracs skirt.

Also, the only item that would possibly be used to boost the street value of your trade is raw bird since none of the other items they've touched had a market for selling in bulk. Umm, WHAT? Copy and paste exists for a reason. If a thread is filled with spam, it's going to be locked regardless of if the OP wants it to be. If it isn't, then the OP's requesting a lock isn't going to do anything. His 'request' isn't doing a single thing towards getting the thread locked.

Same reason as barrows - they degrade rarely, and anything in between could be ripping off the buyer or seller (Say you sold at 50, but it was really 26). Unless they defined every hit as a use (armor 1000, armor 999, armor 998 etc) which would create far too many and confusing items.

It isn't Jagex's problem, the vast majority of people don't lag on the servers. The problem is his end, or between his end and Jagex. It's like calling up Jagex and saying 'the internet is slow! fix it!'

No, it's because (as repeatedly stated) magic maxes out at a low level and is harder to use, even in FTP. Magic has a big advantage over other combat styles at these levels, big enough to make it insanely overpowered in low level FTP pking. There's a price to pay for that.

His requesting a lock shouldn't have anything whatsoever to do with the thread actually being locked. If it's breaking the rules for spam\flaming, lock it. If it isn't, don't.

Why should there be? If people care enough about advertising topics, they'll visit the sticky. If they don't, they'll simply stay away from an advertising forum. Oh, and that green font makes your post basically unreadable on prosilver.
