About crafting, what's the method? And I considered fm, never really liked the skill. But I'll send it through some calculations. Method for crafting is usually buying green hides and turning them into green d'hide bodies, and alching/selling them. Problem is, he won't be any where near breaking even.

No, Mod Mark said they are going to waive the 5% restrictions on new items, so people can still make a profit off new items. That is, if eggs are tradeable.

Ring of Wealth DOES help. It increase the chances of getting a better rare item, but not actually getting a rare drop. -
You don't splash 100%, but the majority of the time you would.

Go to desk, right click Clerk and click Exchange Sets. Then right click the set in your inventory, and exchange it. -

Unless JaGEx actually updates prices on GE, prices will have to go back up, because some GE prices are high compared to the new cheaper prices..
