Ok I just got 65 slayer (5-1-07). Am staying at Smoke Dungeon killing Dust Devils until Sunday (CTET events). I will give you a record of what I get each day/ combat level increases/ and random event. I'll post some pictures later, am lagging badly atm. Frogs, bankers, men, knights, dragons, guards, Chaos E..? We see those things 30x more than we see the KQ. And how many times have people actually been motivated to fight these NPCs after the update? Maybe for one or two days there would be a small surge of, for example, guard drops when they are updated, but to be honest the killing rate steadies out to be the same like before the update. Now if jagex were to update an NPCs drops, making them better, it would be a different story. But bottom line, graphics updates do not affect the kill rate. Agreed, graphics wouldn't make player go out and kill more monsters.. The whole points of graphics is for player that complain aobut how ugly the monster look.. `BOMB

What do you guys think about the ditch in the wilderness where you have to "hop" over it just to enter/leave? I personally think it is stupid. Sure, I am not much of a wilderness person but I really do not want to have to click one more time (twice for round trip) just to enter. The pop up warning was enough for me. Why should smart people have to suffer because of idiocy? I have to go soon but what do you think of this update? Agreed, in my opinion that dicth is stupid... It make the wilderness look all wierd and lame... Is annoying when I go in and pk... you have to click to go in the wild. No point for a ditch... the whole point for a ditch is because of dumb people that got lured and lose couple of millions.. Like one time someone pm me "I'll sell you a whip for 700k"... I dissagree. 1. Runescape is one of the most well known mmo's out there. It is absolutly MASSIVE, and last time i checked it had over 15 million players. They compeat in a compleatly different way, and with a compleatly different claber of game than WoW. Jagex knows they cant beet WoW. They also know they don't have to. The fact that most MMO's are relativly unknown plays hugely into their hands. They can keep their price lower than WoW's, thus giveing them some degree of attraction, and yet they don't have to wory that MMo's with lower prices will beat them out, because few people know about them. 2. Lets asume that I'm compleatly wrong and Jagex does need to compeat with WoW. They don't need better graphics NEARLY as bad as they need better gameplay. Graphics are compleatly secondary. I know some people like Graphics more but lets use this as an example. lets say both WoW and RS cost $10. WoW has the same graphics as its always had, but it has RS style gameplay. Where as RS has the same graphics its always had, but has a WoW style gameplay. Which are you going to pick, WoW or RS. Anyone how has played wow will take it over RS anyday I've played WoW and i think it sucks, I hate WoW. RS is way better in my opinion. Ding~ Ding~!!! Wow is lame.... RS is way better. If they ever make RS3, am going to stay in RS2.... Rs2 is perfect.... not the best graphics, but still ok.. ~BOMB

Dragon Bones: Price back then ( 6 months)~2.2-2.5k; now: 1.5-1.7k at Falador's East Bank world 2.
