Full KDE 3/4 libs? That's insane. You have to come into focus: I suggest making a distro that plays RuneScape, has a few accessories to help, and does nothing else.

Can you play runescape on linux?
Assuming you use Ubuntu, I found a guide which worked for me: (You should also install your proprietary graphics driver, or possibly the open source one it you're on ATI) But I suggest only trying this if the above advice does not work. http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p= ... ostcount=8

Just started learning C++
DevCpp looks good yeah, as it supports GCC based compilers like MinGW (From what I understand you're on Windows).

Pictures of your cell phones.
Amen. I'm getting this phone today or tomorrow: Stereo Bluetooth, 1.3mp camera, mini USB port, MP3 player, place for a memory card, and the incredible quality that automatically comes with any Nokia. At 69 it's a steal.

That is, I take it, the reason that this hasn't been done already. Believe me you aren't the first person to suggest this.

RUbuntuScape DISCUSSION
First of all, Mint has a lot of drivers and binary blobs shipped as standard. Second, you have got to be kidding me. KDE is the biggest resource hog there is when it comes to desktop environments. I would recommend Fluxbox, IceWM-lite or even Awesome but that's just me. Your RuneScape users would probably freak out at the sight of just Fluxbox, let alone Awesome.

I never said it was. That is, however a (Quite easy) solution if people do agree that it is, indeed, a problem.

Microsoft banned from selling Word in the USA
Amen. I run OOo on my 11 year old laptop, runs decently. And speaking from experience, PS blows GIMP out of the water in just about everything it does except for price.

Can you put gifs in windows sidebar?
Since sidebar gadgets are based on HTML, I don't see why you shouldn't be able to add a GIF. Although all or most of the animation in the sidebar (Like the CPU meter that comes with it) is based on JavaScript as far as I know.

If I have time I could translate it into Swedish. It depends on how much there is to translate. Also, I think you should minimize the number of programs used by it, get it down to maybe ~300 MB, shouldn't be too hard.

Since it is one of our crewbies that coded the last.fm signature generator, I'm sure that he would add a censor if you asked him nicely/paid him.

-# The Great Tip.It Grid #- New support Sigs!
- Emoticon issue
The issue is with JavaScript, which is used to add the emoticon text into the other window on the event of a click on the emoticon in question. First try clearing the cache, as I believe external JavaScript is often cached by the browser; If that doesn't work try another browser. (Firefox or Chrome recommended) Also, if you are using Firefox with the NoScript addon, that could be the problem too. Allow all JavaScript from forum.tip.it in that case.- Rules That Need to be Enforced
Got a little news for you- The moderators work very hard behind the scenes to keep the rules enforced, especially the signature/avatar size limits which are difficult to enforce in themselves but even so necessary. I can tell you that your admittedly biased approach to checking avatars isn't really helping you here either. If someone decides to post on the thread instead of reporting it, all they have to lose is their reputation. Do not worry about those posters, they will take care of themselves.- Does Tip.It ---
But it wasn't long ago that it did do so- phpBB2 allowed it, I believe it was an option in the ACP.- Can't get past *verifying dmi pool data*...
http://www.ubuntu.com/  Sorry I'll stop being an idiot.- Firefox 3.5 - What do you think?
I had some stability issues in the start. Then I stopped using the unstable version of FF (3.5.1rcsomething) and my problems were solved. (Captain Obvious to the rescue!) More CSS3 & HTML5 support + JavaScript & overall speed improvements = a nice Halfway To FF4 update.- Does Tip.It ---
Small correction- It's not a case of "Not being supported at the moment", it's a case of phpBB3 intentionally doing everything it can to prevent browsers from rendering any HTML written directly into posts.- Ball Over the Fence - How Would YOU Get it Back?
Good work OT, best thread in a long time  [hide=Large image is large][/hide]- A little recent photography
Yeah but manipulation is for nubs :P I had considered fixing that, but ultimately the feeling of laziness prevailed.- A little recent photography
Both taken in Vasa, Finland. You can actually see where I took the second picture in this picture; it was of the same treeline that's in the background. Click for full view Some desaturation done in UFRaw (Unidentified Flying Raw :P ) Click for full view (Yes a very sneaky way of getting deviation views) On the subject, anyone know where to start learning Japanese?- "You cannot make a post so soon after your last."
Yeah, hopefully it won't be as bad as last time. ;)- Debate Forum
This has been suggested many times before. My point is, of course, that it was obviously disagreed on before and it isn't likely to get through this time either.- Google Chrome OS
Once the code is open source it will be scrutinized. If any trace of such software is found in it, there will be a huge public scandal. Don't worry about it. And , this should help Linux's market share.- Learning C++ quickly
Going from MinGW to Visual Studio C++ is like going from Photoshop to PaintShop Pro. It's the industry standard. - Emoticon issue
