No. They deserve no credit. They've had years and years to do it, and they've failed. Their crimes against web design are unforgivable. IE is at a despicable level of web standards compliance. Of course it will improve, there's nowhere else it can go. 1. Opera gets a 100/100 "With issues" according to Wikipedia. (See Acid3) Safari is currently the only browser that passes 100/100 without any issues (Chrome fails the linktest). 2. Oh, wow. I speak fluent Swedish, and can almost speak Finnish (But not quite). I got stuck in a Swedish school a couple years ago, learned it in a year. Finnish I've been working at for almost eight years. Really though, the only way you can properly learn a language is to get forced into it. :|

Yes, all of those would improve the OS.
