^ Lol. :P I've heard the worst mispronunciations of RS items etc. Unfortunately there aren't English letters that will allow me to write many of them. I don't really know if I'd use FInnish/Swedish servers, were those my native languages, but I'm pretty sure my friends would so of course that would influence it.

I'm starting to feel pretty bad about all the kites, staffs, and godswords etc. that I have to cut off for this. :( Sorry people. Just a status update though: I'm on page 36, if I'm really lucky I could finish my part of it in a few days. (There's some other stuff that is to be done by some others after I'm done.)

What are you doing exactly to upgrade the site? Any dynamic coding like PHP?

That's strange, I seem to remember that signature sizes were parsed by the old system. It was so strict, it kept on telling me that "Your submitted signature is too big, the submitted size was 30.02kb and the maximum is 30kb." If you want to be picky, you didn't actually have to upload them to Tip.it, you could also link to off-site too.

A reasonable amount of retaliation in self-defense is ok, I think. The school I go to agrees, apparently. And it is normal, but that is no reason to say that it's right.

I would argue that it has no right to let them free for the rest of their life. Nobody did. But nothing and nobody has given anyone from the judicial system a right to sentence anyone to death either. I don't see anything complicated about it, two wrongs do not make a right. I think it's because discussing that is just empty threats. I think there are maybe one or two people around here (I wouldn't have any idea who) who could take the mental implications of killing another human. Drugs, however, are easily accessible to nearly everyone.

Remember what Lionheart said about that? Yes. Please. I would agree with that, only to a point, however. There's a fundamental difference between, say, eating fatty foods, and smoking in a public place. By eating unhealthy foods, you put your own health at risk. By smoking, you put other people's health at risk. Even if "Everything your 7th grade teacher tells you isn't true", the fact remains that it harms your health, and others health, at all. I was really happy when they banned all smoking in restaurants here. I have gotten sore throats that lasted days from second hand smoke.

Math doesn't always work if you have quotes or other text in your signature ;) But if you do have just images, then math work just fine. phpBB goes through your sig automatically when you submit it through the UCP, counts the characters, compares it with the max number of chars (Stored in the database) and throws an error if it's over that number. Or at least, in later versions it does, I know I've seen it happen on my own forum. I think personally that checking signatures is a waste of mod's time. I wouldn't mind seeing some automatic system being put in place like we had on phpBB2, but that's just another mod to debug and update. On the other hand, though, I don't see what's so difficult about checking the file size/dimensions yourself. Right click on the image -> properties also works good for checking.

I'm with this guy. Nobody has the right to kill anyone, no matter the circumstances. I can honestly say I'd rather be executed than have a life sentence anyway.

Or at least the ones that are really disturbingly small. I would ban the death penalty. After that, I would want to ban smoking/tobacco products. Sure, yell all you want but nothing good comes from it. I've got about 6 friends all addicted to nicotene and none of them have turned 15 yet. :| If I could, I would ban overdrinking too, just seems so shameful to me to be so out of control. Not only that, but it annoys everyone else when some completely drunk person gets on the train and pukes.

Nobody ever has the right to take away someone's life. It is not up to the government (Or anyone else) to decide, simple as that. No matter what they've done.

If you knew me you'd know that no matter how angry I get, I always try to be open to logical reasoning. And that I avoid becoming angry like the plague.
