As far as I'm aware, since herbs crashed so hard, best profit is maples/coal.

Magic Accuracy Nerf
So that's why when I tried the god spells with charge for the first time at barrows they stunk. And why my black sally was owning so many people using those other spells. AKA, I'd enter a tomb, they'd have their brother at half health, I'd use my sally and be done before them. (No, it's not my levels, these were all people higher than me. Besides, look at my low levels. :P )

akrisae's war mace
Either it's some super secret effect that Glacor's have on akrisae because of his being present at their creation, or Akrisae armour is bugged. I'd go with the latter. Submit a bug report would be my suggestion.

Akrisae's armour
I'm not sure when it's good (if ever), I just happened to snag one from a barrows run today, and wanted to get my money's worth. :P They have settled about GE price, apparently, but will probably drop soon. I actually want a set to barrows in, as it's got decent magic attack and all around def bonuses. I think it would be great for it, just not at its current price, so I'm selling any pieces I get to buy cheaper later.

Akrisae's armour
So I was wondering if anybody had a read on the street price of Akrisae's robe top, or if the GE is a good indicator?

BXP Rollbacks
My friend has been playing for 7 years and he has like 25mil total xp. :P Let's see... I have 32.5 mil over 10 years. I is inefficient? :P Though my total level is 1827... Maybe I should find me a good bot program. That's efficient, right? [insert serious sarcasm]. I've never botted, and never will. Proof? See the above statement.

rsc
If you played RSC before RS2 came out, then you may have the stats from that time. Your current stats/bank will not transfer.

I need 5 levels before concentrated coal. Recommendations for before that?

Mining techniques
I'm looking for a mining technique that's good experience but doesn't require constant clicking like desert mining. I'm mining in the lava flow right now (don't yet have gold armour) and I'm not concerned about making money. Suggestions?

31-Aug-2011 The Branches of Darkmeyer
Strange he shouts Human! And it closes screen everytime for me. I'll double check that it still works for me, but it definitely did just a few hours ago. I'm not trying to discredit you, just that was my experience. I also had my equipment screen open & changed from the outfit top to BCP & it got closed due to them shouting "Human!" would be nice if after the quest the amulet was somehow upgraded so we didn't require the uniform. Oh, I didn't think you were trying to discredit me. Reading through the thread, people have been reporting that you couldn't use the bank without the disguise, and I did find it curious that my experience was different. Now, after trying to get it to not let me bank, I can, but I can still consistently bank without my disguise. It's probably just a bug though. I don't think you're meant to bank without it.

Strange he shouts Human! And it closes screen everytime for me. I'll double check that it still works for me, but it definitely did just a few hours ago. EDIT: It appears as though you can access the bank for a short period of time after you take off your disguise. I'm not sure exactly how much time, but it was long enough for me to navigate my bank and take some things in and out, and during the quest I used it to bank my disguise and pull out extra food. Eventually, it does kick me out, but not until I've had enough time to do anything I might need to do. After a couple times of this, it eventually sped up closing me out of it so that I couldn't do anything, but I put my outfit back on and took it off again, and was again able to use the bank almost normally. Probably a bug though. Funnily enough I didn't have any issues at all with using the bank during the quest without my disguise. I made sure to test it, even.

That's funny, I've been able to bank there just fine without my outfit on. Take off your outfit and right click to select "bank" and the interface opens right up, no problem.

Reveal Confessions, Secrets & Regrets...
I've always wished I could do this. I can tell you that you don't miss much, just the ability to freak a few girls out. I sort of have this ability, except more so in a verbal sense that I remember every conversation I have had with any girl I like. It does tend to freak them out a little, like "I told you that?!" "Yes, multiple times."

Things that annoy the HELL out of you.
Serious question: What's the wrong word in that sentence? Itch. You don't itch yourself, you scratch yourself. I also have this problem with an insignificant word. Lay and lie. You LAY an object down like a tray or a mat. You LIE your body down on your bed or a towel. You don't go lay down somewhere and you don't lie down an object. You guys would absolutely hate me then. That's all I'm gonna say. Itching yourself is wrooooooooong. In linguistics, there is often a distinction between prescriptive and descriptive grammar. Prescriptive grammar is where dictionary definitions and "proper" grammar falls, what would be considered standard. Descriptive grammar is how words and grammar are used in everyday language. Prescriptive linguists would agree with you, deeming "itch an itch" completely improper, whereas descriptive linguists like myself find such uses interesting and acceptable, though unlikely to be used in formal writing or language, such as if I were to write an academic paper or give a presentation.

Things that annoy the HELL out of you.
Oh, I'm a linguistics minor in college, so I find people's opinions about language fascinating. I've always considered itch a perfectly acceptable verb. But that may be a regional thing.

Today...
The US uses fahrenheit because we never converted when the international standard was developed. We (read: our president) decided a policy of dual labeling would be sufficient. So, for a while, everything was labeled in the old system and in the SI system. Then we gave up on even that for the most part, though you still see "dual" labeling on car speedometers, pop bottles, etc., though even those are in small print. If you want to know the Celsius temperature when someone does Fahrenheit here, use this: Converter

One in Seven Americans are [sic] Poor.
Are you kidding? No, I know you're not. You ask for a source, he gets one, from a congressional hearing no less, and you complain about it not being accurate? I don't see you providing any source contradicting it saying that more than that amount was abused, or that it has changed significantly in the past ten years, which I sincerely doubt, given that the economy is now worse and people are more likely to need to rely on unemployment payments.

One in Seven Americans are [sic] Poor.
Source this. Life is unfair. People in their abilities are inherently unequal. Taking everything away from everyone is the only way to make everyone equal, but even that solution injures some people more than others. We can't all win the lottery. EDIT: And you know what? Unless you live by yourself in BFE, You don't need a subscription to watch t.v. I will admit to not being able to source that, as that kind of statistics are not available because if we knew who was abusing welfare, they wouldn't be. I will say that I have heard this statistic before, years ago, and that I know far more families who need welfare than those that abuse it, and that I choose to believe in the general goodness of people, which you obviously do not. Life is unfair? Sure as heck is. Doesn't mean we shouldn't work to make it less unfair. Abilities so often have so little to do with where you are financially. Luck is the deciding factor. Not everyone can win the lottery, sure, but those who don't shouldn't have to scrape together a living. I would never suggest taking everything away from everyone. That's got nothing to do with anything. I have no idea what BFE is, so I do not understand that statement. EDIT: I'll take it you mean the middle of nowhere, from what google says. And I don't know where you live, but I'm not sure how you're implying to watch tv without a subscription.

One in Seven Americans are [sic] Poor.
An incentive to get out of poverty? Are you kidding me?! Now you're just making me angry. I've lived my life so that my family worked our butts off and we still nearly lost our house. Yes, we still had cable tv, but the amount of money we spent on that and our internet is miniscule compared to the amount it takes to "get out of poverty." Yes, there is a small percentage of people who take advantage of the welfare system and spend their money recklessly because they can, but the vast majority of people in it use welfare to live at least slightly more comfortably while still struggling to "get out of poverty." Why should a family have to work 16 hour days at 2-3 jobs just to get by, with a little bit of pride in the fact that they can watch some tv when they are done, while someone else can spend 8 hours a day in a comfy office and never even think about how much money they're making because they know they'll have plenty. An incentive to get out of poverty, my good man? What about being poor sucks? Not like you would know.

Reveal Confessions, Secrets & Regrets...
They drilled cursive in to me in elementary school, saying I'd need it my whole life, more than print. But then computers went viral and everything formal got typed out, so it isn't necessary to be good at it. So everybody but me slowly stopped using it, and I only used it because I had forgotten how to print after like 6 years of only cursive. I literally had to reteach myself how to print mid-high school. On the plus side, I can read almost anything in cursive, and only a small portion of people my age can read what I write, so they can't look over my shoulder and read it, which I hate.

One in Seven Americans are [sic] Poor.
I don't want to say that my family is poor, but we're dang close to it. Yes, we have "luxuries" like a personal computer and cable TV. In US society, however, these items become less and less of luxuries. Like how I need my personal computer so that I can type up my school assignments on time without being confined to the 9-5 hours of the public library, considering I'm in school for most of those hours. Or how I had to watch the nightly news and specialty news programs for my government class. I will in no way say that America's poor compare at all to poor elsewhere in the world, but as has been previously stated, there is a level of poor that should not happen in a country with so much money. I like the world should be such that everyone has food, shelter, a personal computer and cable tv. Does that make me a bad person? That I think everyone should have the same quality of resources available to them? Yes, "poor" people don't need cable tv or a personal computer or a cell phone, but when they already are struggling to make ends meet, luxuries are something that allow them to escape a little in their free time, and, in the case of at least cell phones and computers, allow them to interact with the world without being at an inherent disadvantage.

Clapping before, during, or after a movie in the movie theater. I hate it. It's not like the actors can hear your applause or anything. It just completely ruins an the experience for me.
